Lexen Hotel - Hollywood Walk of Fame-Universal Studios

First time staying. It was adequate and probably would stay again when attending an event at the Bowl.

Quick stay; location was in walking distance of walk of fame however you do have to cross through heavy traffic to get there. Older aesthetic as far as infrastructure but bathrooms were very up to date, renovation?? Staff friendly on telling me how to get places

The hotel itself was very clean. Friendly receptionists! They have a little snack/vending area which was nice to have so close to the room. The room itself was very nice, super clean. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Super clean and nice

It was an average experience. Location was not too bad but there was a group of unhoused people at the hotel over. There was parking available at the time we arrived but it was a SUPER tight squeeze. We did arrive pretty late so when we arrived, the front desk employee was asleep lol I had to say hello twice. I was disappointed that when I called earlier I asked if I could get late check out and the person on the phone said sure that he’ll just add it for free! When I got there, I confirmed with the front desk that I called and I had complimentary late checkout and the employee there was not aware that I called and said that late checkout is $25. Besides that, room is pretty modern, just a bit dingy in the furniture. I probably wouldn’t come back personally but it’s an ok choice if you’re on a budget and want to be walking distance from hollywood
