Reception from Dawid was warm and welcoming. We stored our luggage as we were early. Perfect location to train stations and Luas however we walked everywhere from this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a lovely bathroom and comfy bed! Breakfast was wonderful! Spacious lobby with bar. Highly recommend!

Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 6. Stock für 4 Nächte, es war sauber und ausreichend groß, die Betten bequem mit festen und weichen Kissen. Leider gab es keinen Schrank, nur ein paar dünne Bügel zum Aufhängen von Kleidung. Es gab einen Safe und die Möglichkeit Tee oder Kaffee zu kochen. Das war sehr gut. Das Housekeeping war teilweise um 14h noch nicht im Zimmer gewesen. 2x fragte ich an der Rezeption nach, weil das Wasser im Waschbecken nicht gut abfloss. Im Bad gab es Produkte von "Dove". Die Rezeption war immer besetzt und die Mitarbeiter, auch die der Security sehr freundlich!! Das Frühstück war da....Das Rührei aus Pulver, der Speck mit Fettaugen, die Muffins trocken und das Brot nur! getoastet genießbar. Die Bananen waren gut, aber der Käse lag teilweise schon etwas länger auf der Platte, zumindest sah es so aus. Im Frückstücksraum ( eine Verlängerung der Lobby) war es recht kalt und es herrschte das unpersönliche Flair einer Großküche/Kantine. Das Angebot an Kaffee, Tee und Kakao war sehr gut. Ich konnte am frühen Morgen (04:00h) problemlos auschecken. Als ich das am Abend zuvor abklärte, wurde mir kein Frühstück to go angeboten. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, alles fußläufig erreichbar und gute Anbindung an den Aircoachbus zum Flughafen. Gute Restaurants auch in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Alles in allem war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ( besonders wegen des Frühstücks) eher weniger gut.

Staff were amazing- friendly and very helpful. Room was lovely, very clean and quiet. Perfect location for getting around, the airport bus stopped 50 yards from the entrance to hotel couldn’t have been easier. Great value would definitely stay again 😃

During a recent stay in Dublin, my husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on O’Connell Street. We couldn’t have asked for friendlier, more helpful and accommodating staff. Really excellent place to stay. The hotel was super clean and fresh, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast included. Location was great too, a short walk to the river along O'Connell Street, and you are right at the heart of the city. The hop-on on hop-off bus service was just a few metres from the hotel, too. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Dublin, which I hope to da as it was such a wonderful place to visit.

The property was located in the heart of Dublin, close to restaurants, public transportations which was convenient and easy to navigate. The only thing that was negative was that there was a pub next door and we heard music and people until 2am, very loud even on weekdays.

The hotel was new and well-maintained; however, our room was on the 1st floor, and we had to deal with a very loud nightclub right next door that felt like it was in our room. The parking is also really inconvenient and far away and there’s nowhere to pull up to unload. Also, the lights in our room didn’t work until we put our key card in a slot on the wall (no one told us this was required, and being American, we aren’t aware if this is a standard in Irish hotels). It was fine for one night, but I wouldn’t return, especially for an extended stay.

Fantastic location right on O'Connell Street, beside the Airport Express bus stop. Staff friendly, breakfast acceptable (apart from the undrinkable coffee), room small (despite being on a corner) but clean. Main quibble was over the lack of storage space - one small closet with six hangers and a shelf and that was it. No drawers at all anywhere else, just small bedside shelves, one of which was almost entirely taken up by the phone.

The shower was the best I’ve experienced this trip. I liked the bathroom space and fixtures. It was a pleasant room, comfortable bed. I miss a dresser when staying more than a night. It did have a table top space for luggage wish I appreciated.

Room was small but clean and the bathroom was great with a walk in shower. Bed a little firm and squeaky but otherwise fine. Location is very convenient for walking, trams and buses but also can be a bit noisy and boisterous on Friday and Saturday nights. Would stay again.

I remember this hotel being built on a previous trip to Dublin. It's nice, clean and in a great location for city center and bus to Dublin Airport. Staff was a little rude about the check-in time. I was literally there like 10 minutes before it started, but they still let me check in "early" My room was on the noisy side of the street so couldn't have the window open. I think it's ridiculous that you have to join their rewards program to use the Wi-Fi. I don't want to join 10 different hotel chain reward programs when traveling for leisure.

Due to a sudden illness my partner was unwilling enough to travel so I reached out to the hotel via hotels.com and through their official email to see if there was anything they could do regards refund or using the nights stay at a different date and still haven’t received a reply. Very disappointing as up to that the communication was very good with the hotel.

Just spent 2 nights 3 days in Dublin and stayed at this excellent IHG hotel. We arrived a few hours early but Rishi , who greeted us, managed to find us a room, welcomed us both to Dublin and as it was my wife’s birthday, Rishi organised 2 free complimentary drinks. We have been regular travellers over the years but this was service and professionalism at its best . Rishi needs complimenting on his service! The hotel itself is located right in the heart of Dublin 20-25 minutes walk to Temple Bar, all amenities are right on the doorstep. Superb location Breakfast was varied and generous. All staff were polite and helpful, a credit to the company.! On a side note, there’s a great traditional pub off O’Connell St. The Oval is worth a look and a great pint of Guinness!

I have not been in a Holiday Inn Express for years. But that is about to change. We had a remarkable stay at this hotel. Firstly, the airport shuttle (third party) drops you off steps away from the hotel. And what a wonderful spot. So convenient and walkable to everything. Staff were welcoming. Room was extremely clean and well organized. Air conditioning was superb and the room was very quiet considering we were right in the heart of Dublin. And one notices the little things like a huge bathroom towel and actual hair shampoo. The breakfast was awesome. So tasty with such a wide variety of foods and beverages to pick from. I will be back and recommend this place for all. 10/10

Location is everything in Dublin and this Holiday Inn Express on O’Connell Street is great. Airport coach transfer (Aircoach) picks up and drops off right outside. Easy walk to everything tourist in Dublin. Breakfast is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Can’t fault the place.

The staff at the O’Connell Street Holiday Inn are the best! They are very helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The location is convenient for walking around and I feel safe walking alone during the day- nighttime walking requires the same caution you would use in any large city.

extremely friendly, cooperative staff. easy access to transport or walks to different sites yet away from the noise of the city. long breakfast hours and breakfast to go if needed. one drawback- breakfast menu doesn't change but there is variety of choices -from cereal, yogurt,bread ,croissants,pancakes, eggs,sausages, beans ,mushrooms,hash browns, fruit, hot chocolate, cappuchino machines, juices ,tea coffee.
