The room was perfectly clean and tidy. The staff seemed friendly and helpful (although we never met them as we unexpectedly had to leave early) but via messages, they were helpful and quick to reply. Check in was very smooth and easy, with the place to collect the keys only a couple of buildings down from the actual place. The room itself was a wonderful representation of Siena and the medieval essence of the city. The room did have a fridge (which actually worked unlike many of the hotels we have stayed at in Italy), but a kettle would have been a nice touch. Toiletries were provided, and the bathroom felt very clean. The location was great; a short walk to the city centre. There was also a courtyard/garden which I’m sure would have been nice to sit and eat breakfast, but we did not make use of this nor the breakfast (which is for an extra fee) as we only stayed one night and had to leave early the next day. Overall we enjoyed our, albeit short, stay and would definitely consider staying in future if we return to Siena.

Clean, functional and perfect for my stay in Siena as very close to the centre and convenient for the Via Francigena. Only one criticism is that the shower room fan stays on far too long (room next door having the same issue). That apart would highly recommend
