Super 8 by Wyndham Ruston

This was a backup option to the normal place that I stay when I visit my son, but it definitely delivered for the price. Rooms look recently renovated and the bed was super comfy. Was surprise it had a pool and when visiting the pool it was very clean and well kept. Definitely an option next time I come back.

Great place to stay for weekend softball tournament. Comfortable bed, 4 star on cleanness, only issues was it has a small parking lot.

Everything was clean. The room was nice. The pool was good.

We did not stay. They had no ground floor handicapped room available. My wife cannot climb stairs, so we were forced to leave and find another room.

I was passing through just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours. I picked this bc it was the cheapest in the area. I got exactly what I paid for. I was in a no-smoking room. Someone had clearly smoked in the room. It smelled like smoke and the comforter had smoke holes (See pictures). The comforter was also stained. The room had hard floors in it and gum was on the floor (see picture). The mini-frige must have come from somewhere that had flooded. The bottom was rusted. I knew better but the reviews would have indicated that it was ok to sleep for a few hours before continuing to my destination.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a locked door and no one at the front desk. I had to ring a doorbell to get any attention and was left standing outside in the cold wind and rain while the attendant treated us like we were an inconvenience. After what felt like an eternity, we finally received our room key, but by then, I was completely soaked. When we entered the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, despite us paying extra for a non-smoking room. Upon closer inspection, we found cigarette ash on the countertops and even cigarette holes in the sheets. It was absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, the door to the room didn’t lock — the back of it was hanging off the floor with the batteries removed. The only way to keep the door closed was by bracing it with the couch and a table. I called the front desk multiple times for help, but no one ever answered. We were left stuck in a room with a broken door and no support. I have plenty of pictures to back up my complaints, but honestly, the experience speaks for itself. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly won’t be staying here again.

The hotel only had 2 rooms and the 1st room had a broken toilet, so we had to change rooms. The 2nd room was filthy with an eye lash in the bed in the fridge and on the floor. Dirty pillows and cigarette burns in the top sheet. Blood was under the seat of the toilet. I called hotels.com and the front desk lied and said they put me in another, but they didn’t have any rooms available. I asked them why did they lie and they said that I should have called them instead of hotels.com. Hotels.com did not believe me and would not help me with another hotel and I purchased the insurance. That company hung up on me. Don’t stay here. I had to go to the front desk so we could have clean linen. The floor and fridge was dirty and I sent pictures to both the super 8 and hotels.com. Hotels.com gave me a $75 credit instead of assisting me with a refund and finding a new hotel room. POOR SERVICE!!

No frills.... you get what you pay for. Comforter and blanket had cigarette burn holes. Shower was not clean. The sofa smelled bad...like wet pets and feet.

We arrived pretty late but the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. The morning attendant was extremely nice with assisting me with fresh towels. The room had the best shower pressure I've ever had in a hotel. All in all it was a great stay and will be our go to stop when we're in town. Thank yall for a great stay.

Room floor was dirty and dusty. Infested with roaches. The walls and bathroom door had stains. Breakfast was not stocked. Staff entered the room to change trash and towels while we were out.

I'm calling the health department because they admitted to having bed bugs

Our room was not clean. Shower had hair on the walls and floor of it and floors need to be mop. There was hair all in our towels that we need to wash us with. Blanket had cigarettes hold in it. Nobody answer the desk so we could get it clean. I will never stay here again.

Motel has been updated. Not very big rooms, but comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed my stay.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I just booked a third stay. Clean room, fresh sheets, and comfy beds! Will continue to book at this hotel while visiting my daughter at Tech, for its very reasonable rate. Just a quick 3 minute drive to her dorm at Carothers B. Food places all around.

Hotel decent value - all what you expect in a chain property but my room backs the interstate and you hear trucks all night plus the room smelled ‘old’ like a converted smoking room.

Didn't honor my reservation for a king size bed and non-smoking. Given a smoking room with a "queen " bed. I put "queen in quotes becase it was a double size bed at best. Very disappointing and I will not be staying there again.

The front desk staff and cleaning crew was the best. They were courteous, communicative and helpful

This was my second stay at this hotel. I just booked a third stay. Clean room, fresh sheets, and comfy beds! Will continue to book at this hotel while visiting my daughter at Tech, for its very reasonable rate. Just a quick 3 minute drive to her dorm at Carothers B. Food places all around.

Very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. No issues. This is a great motel a few blocks from LA Tech. Also, it's a great location with several good restaurants nearby.

Very close to the universities. Can walk to food places and gas station they have beer. It is a very safe area. But you get what you pay for in the hotel. This is a very affordable hotel but if I had more money I would not stay here.

Just what we needed. An affordable place to shower and sleep one night while traveling. Had a quick simple continental breakfast before hitting the road again.

It was a 2 star place. The bed was comfortable. The smaller things were all super cheap; towels, the was coffee ugh, the TV remote and package, and the best was the soap. I guess cuz it has green in the title it’s good. Wrong it left a slick coating of slime on my hands with weird smell. I had to scrub it with their cheap towels. Also the front desk people might ‘act’ like the care that the people that are paying them arrived. Basic pleasantries go a long way.

Poor breakfast. Otherwise ok for a quick stay.
