Best Western PLUS Ruston Hotel

When we checked in and went to our room the room was dirty from the previous guest. Our friends with us had to go to the lobby two times before they finally got a key that opened their door. There was one girl working at the front desk. She finally (very slowly) found us a clean room. The next morning I went down to lobby to get coffee and it was basically hot water that came out. Disgusting. My son is considering LA Tech for college and we were there for a campus visit. I will be sure that we never stay here again.

Breakfast was good! They were actually cooked and perfect!

The lobby was nice and the room was spacious. It ends there. Then we first walked in, the beds were so wrinkled and slopped together, I actually questioned if they had been slept in. The entire room needed a paint job. The floors had visible crumbs all over them. Curtains were falling off the rods. Door jams were disgusting. Floors in the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been mopped in months. Dried toilet paper on the wall. No trash can in the bathroom. Asked for a highchair at the breakfast and they brought one so dirty I wouldn’t even put my baby in it. Definitely not Best Western Quality - much less Plus. One of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I wouldn’t even let my kid walk barefoot.
