We had a very comfortable night in the room put aside for travellers with dogs as it has a safe lockable area. Our dog was very happy to run around the garden. Bathroom / shower was spotless with plenty of room.

We had a fridge in which to put a few perishable items we had, plus a kettle, tea, coffee and some milk pods. There's a microwave but no toaster or crockery or cutlery - limiting your breakfast options - or you eat out Spacious and spotlessly clean shower and toilet room. The bed was a good size but a bit too firm for our liking - may well suit others. One chair, so someone sits on the bed. The property sits on a road leading to the ferry terminals, so there seems to be traffic at all times - although we didn't find it disturbed us. Picton centre (shops, restaurants, etc.) and the waterfront is about a 20 minute walk away. There's parking on-site. We found it a good place to stay for our one night ahead of a ferry crossing to Wellington.

A perfect stay for ease of catching the ferry or having arrived on the ferry before embarking on travelling on the South Island. We were greeted warmly & the room was well appointed. For us the beds were slightly hard but that’s a very personal opinion as will be perfect for others. Picton High Street was about 20mins walk away & there were good recommendations of local eateries in our room.

The room is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Tracey is an excellent host. We wanted to be close to the Interislander for an early start but traffic noise from the over-night arrivals and departures meant we didn’t sleep very well - it was warm and we had the windows open. Tracey did supply ear plugs but they didn’t quite do the job.

Tracee was super helpful and we were able to drop off luggage early so we could go explore. Nice guesthouse, decent sized room and bathroom. Bed made noise every time you moved but otherwise it was a good stay.

Tracee is the absolute best hostess. Greeted us like long lost friends and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The fluffy bathrobes were a nice added touch. Recommended a trike tour with PK that was absolutely amazing. Even arranged for a ride into town during a torrential rainstorm while we were there. Even drove us into town with our bags when we checked out. Thank you Tracee for making our stay memorable. Best Wishes to PK too! 😎

Good value for money. We stayed for two nights and it’s a lovely place with two beds and good TV choices with Netflix, YouTube, Prime. WiFi worked great. We walked to high street which is about 15-20 minutes. There are good choice of eateries. The place located near main road you will expect some noise during rush hours otherwise it’s quite, we both slept well.

We were passing through Picton stayed for one night only. The bedroom & bathroom were clean, no kitchen but there was a kettle etc, fridge & a microwave, did the job. The host was very friendly and helpful with information. The location was close, 5mns in a car, to the ferry and town, handy! I would recommend.

The room had everything you could need . We had the pet friendly accommodation, only one available at the time of booking, we did not have a pet with us This would be perfect for anyone travelling with their dog We ate in the Irish pub twice for dinner , which was very good

Loved the room tucked away and private with great facilities for my dog. Therewas a cold spell while i was there and the bathroom was pretty cold, but the shower was excellent. Host was great, there when needed. Close to food outleys and supermarket. Great night in with netflix and other digital services. Would stay again.

Loved it at Top of Town. Tracee was very welcoming and the bedroom and ensuite very, very, very comfortable. Spotlessly clean with good hot drink selection. Tracee was very helpful in every way. There was no option for breakfast but many choices in short walk.
