We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. The rooms were spacious & the view was incredible, we also booked massages at the spa and hands down one of the best massages ever, the atmosphere was peaceful, the staff were incredibly attentive, and we both walked out feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. The rooftop restaurant was another standout — stunning views of the Osaka skyline, delicious food, and such a great vibe. 100% recommend this hotel!

Great hotel, we went for a room with Lounge access which was definitely worth it. The lounge is on 32nd floor with great views across Osaka. The Lounge staff were outstanding, very courteous and taking an interest on what we had planned for the day. Plenty of choice for breakfast and various drinks - cocktails, champagne, wine, beer etc and light food served between 5:30 - 7:30. All included with Lounge package. Overall excellent!

Great property with great staff that was very accommodating and eager to help. Yoon at the front desk was very welcoming and made sure everything was taken care of in terms of luggage delivered to our room. The facilities were top notch and the views from the high floor rooms unbeatable. The lounge and restaurant on the 32nd and 33rd floor were grrat as well. Will definitely be back.

The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a brand new five-star located in the heart of Namba which is only a fifteen walk of the shopping district of Dotonbori. Your bags are sent to your within minutes and before you know it, you’ve changed your clothes and are ready to see what the beautiful city of Osaka has to offer. If health and fitness is your thing, then visit the 4th floor where you’ll find free weights and machines to fit your soul’s health desires. And if you suffer a cramp or pulled muscle, check out Cenvaree Spa also located on the 4th floor too. Here you’ll be greeted by friendly staff members and tea. I chose the hour session and the price was affordable. In fact, the cost of my room for a five-star hotel was overall affordable. The size and cleanliness of my room by far the best I’ve stayed at. I’ll definitely be back in 2026!!!

It’s a beautiful hotel and spacious. Close to everything. The only thing we did not like was our toilet area in our room. There were some questionable brown stains on the wall and closely looking at the bottom of door frame, it also had some brown stains/splashes. Not really sure what happened before, but whoever cleaned it didn’t not clean it well.

Beautiful and super clean hotel. It is close to the mall with a lot of shopping and a short walk to the train station. The rooms were super clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. An absolute joy staying there and the staff is incredible.

Staff was helpful. The room itself was poorly maintained and smelt like sewage. We found a used floss and hair on the floor upon check in. Bed was uncomfortable, pillow and bedsheet were humid and smelt like they weren’t dried properly. Location wasn’t that ideal - a long walk after exiting Namba station. Would not stay again or recommend.

There are many things to like about our stay at the Centara Grand. The location is excellent. Easy to get anywhere, and the nearby shopping is abundant. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfy. The breakfast buffet is very average for such a nice hotel. The room cleaning was strange. They moved our toothbrushes and other personal affects during the cleaning. The AC filter in the room was full of dust and caused us to have sneezing fits at night.

Breakfast menu is extensive and they change enough of it everyday so you don’t get tired of eating the same food. Rooms near the train tracks can be a bit noisy so ask for rooms away from tracks if you are noise sensitive. Rooms were huge compared to usual Japanese hotel room sizes. Hotel is connected to a shopping mall and nearby restaurants, about 20 minutes walking distance from Dotonbori so great spot.

The room was fairly big compared to other Japanese hotels in general, and we could open widely our two big luggages and still had so much space to move around the room. Very clean facilities and the view from the window was nice. Although there is still around 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Dotonburi side, it was considerably a very nice hotel to stay and I would come back again if i happen to visit Osaka in the future.

Wonderful hotel. Our room was huge and appeared brand new. It was immaculate with far reaching city views. The housekeeping was excellent and unobtrusive. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine. It was completely silent with true blackout blinds and we slept so well in the super king bed. It was a little walk to Namba station but through the attractive covered shopping and restaurant arcade. I highly recommend this hotel.

Love the location and accessibility to the various shopping malls. Room is very clean and well equipped but the split toilet and shower/bath takes some getting used to. The bathroom has one narrow mirror so two people cannot get ready at the same time. The lighting at the bathroom counter makes you look like you have bags under your eyes. There is a magnifying mirror but it is not lit up.

Excellent location! Floor 2 connects to Namba Parks, lots of shopping and restaurants and train accessibility. The hotel is literally right next to the train, so it can get a bit noisy. We were on the 14th floor and facing the tracks and could hear the trains going by all day. So if you think this would bug you, maybe request a higher floor or a room facing the other direction. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are spacious, water pressure in the shower was amazing, everything was so clean, and the amenities were fantastic. I especially loved the complimentary glass water bottles that you could refill as needed just down the hall. The rooms have Nespresso for coffee lovers. The gym was gorgeous. Staff were super friendly. Overall this was a fantastic hotel!!

This was the second hotel I stayed at during my first trip to Osaka. I was there for two nights on the 29th floor. The room was amazing and offered a great view overlooking Namba Park and what I believe was Den Den Town. The Christmas decorations being set up were a nice touch, and I appreciated being invited to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony as well.

This hotel was very nice just very slow. It took the check in staff 30 mins to check us in which was odd. It also took forever for us to get our luggage’s after being checked in. The hotel is very nice, clean, great location and great rooftop bar.

Staff was polite but not very helpful. Hotel is a bit of a walk from the subway station. We left some items we purchased in the room by accident and we were downstairs trying to have our luggage held. The items could have been easily returned to us. Overall this hotel is overpriced for what you get.

I have stayed with my family for 5 nights. The check in and check out service is ridiculously inefficient. The front desk English is hard to communicate. They also ask us to pre-paid 100000 yen as deposit without pre-announced. Seems a foreign guest is a high dangerous consumer? The front desk at 10/14 night shift also has terrible service. We asked for change the quilt for water spoiled. The answer of the front desk is they do not have this kind of service. Shame on your 5 star hotel. This experience is like living in a slum.

We were upgraded at check in to a better room which was incredible. The in room drinks were very welcome. Checkout was fast. There's this odd policy where one of the restaurants connects to an outdoor patio only at night and suddenly alters the menu such thst all the prior items are srill available, but you are forced to buy into $50 per person for several drinks on top of anything else you order or you must choose a different, $70 per person package. This already makes no sense as a concept, because the mark up on drinks is easily 2-3 times the usual cost. Despite numerous reiterating of my wife's order, they forgot to place it entirely as well. The massage service was welcomed, but after booking and receiving no conflicting feedback, we arrived as scheduled and were told it eas fully booked up. From what I saw, thr procedure just sends an email that they check in Outlook. Our email had apparently not been opened yet, but this also means it's not necessarily first come first serve either and can leas to confusion. Checkin was very odd. Many desks of helpful staff, but felt like waiting in line at USJ before opening hours. The grumbles could be heard throughout the line for 30+ mins. 1 group feigned ignorance and skipped ahead of 15+ other people to the extreme dissatisfaction of onlookers. 6 went to the actual line and 2 directly to a checkin counter to lie, feign ignorance as to the actual line. Staff tried to redirect but gave in quickly. All said, will not return.

Nothing could be more convenient. Direct train to and from Kansai Intl’ - check. Shopping - check - Namba Parks and Takeshimaya next door. Eating - check. Kuromon market, streets lined with little restaurants of all types. Nightlife - check. Dotombori, Shinsaibashi within walking distance. Amerika Mura and subway stop away. Easy connections via subway to Tennoji, Osaka Station and Shin Osaka. And oh by the way the hotel is also nice.

Nice new hotel and clean room. Breakfast very boring and bland though. We expected delicious Thai food but very disappointed with its taste. Staff also need to be more friendly and smile more pls. Really lack of usual Japanese hotel hospitality possibly coz it’s Thai hotel chain. Location a bit far from station after spending whole day traveling around the city/dotonbori area but in quite spot. .

Location, close to Namba train station, level of service, cleanliness, corner king bed room had tons of light with excellent black out curtains, restaurants excellent (Thai and seafood restaurants), attached Parks Namba shopping centre was top notch Overpriced breakfast if reservation not made in advance. Needed to leave the hotel for breakfast.
