Room was fair sized with comfortable bed, and equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Working ice machine and a guest-accessible grill were plusses. Downside was a motion activated light/fan in bath that self activated throughout the night, ruining our sleep. Also, for this price, why no Kleenex?

Townhouse is always a clean, comfortable and affordable stay. It is walking distance so great places to eat such as Schat’s, Jack’s, Back Alley, Whiskey Creek and Amigos. They just redid the pool, too.

Bad:Parking was difficult as the parking lot is small for amount of units. TV satellite was out for most of trip. Good: room was clean and quiet.

The location was very convenient to down town area. The location was quiet. The room and property needed repairs and touch up painting. The outdoor area needed cleaning. The pool was not heated. After seeing the condition of the property I tried to cancel my second booking with the manager but he said I had to do that with expedia. I couldn't get help doing that.

I wish the pool was open. Or at least have gotten notice it would be closed.

If you expect the amenities of a Best Western or Holiday Inn, you will be disappointed. The Townhouse is a mid-forties motel, and the rooms are small because that's the way they built 'em back then. But if you're looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed, this is a good place. Frills include TV, wifi, fridge, and microwave. There is also a small outdoor area with a barbecue, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance. Parking is plentiful, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the Townhouse.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed in room 6 last saturday. I woke up about 2 am with extraordinary ichiness all over my arms and feet. I turned the light on and could see live bedbugs. Unfortunatley, I have unintentionally become a kind of expert on bedbugs because of an infestation that was in a house I bought 7 years ago. I did check the matress before I went to slep, but it and the box springs were encassed in zipper very fine mesh bags. We had to use such bags when we bought new matresses to replace the bedbug contaminated ones. I thought maybe they were there for another reason, but my gut instinct was correct. For the owners info, you basically have to gut the whole room of carrpet and everything else that is fabric. Have a qualified exterminator spray the ENTIRE room carefully to inject the pesticide into all crevices in the floor, wall, behind light sockets EVERYwhere. Their life cycle is such that they lay eggs after a blood meal and they take about three weeks to hatch. So that means you will have bed eggs hatching, theyu are not effected by pesticide, for three weeks after you spray. It took us three sprays over a 6 week period of completley empty rooms. All linens and cloths have to be tumble dried on high heat to kill residiual eggs and nothing can be introduced back into the room until the infestation is completley gone. All bedframes and furniture should be inspected and wiped cleean and stay outdside in the sun for 2-3 weeks. They hate the sun. Close Decontaminate

The only issue for me was how dirty parts of the room is. The inside door was filthy with grime. The baseboards were also chipped to the wood and the walls were marked up badly in places. Clearly parts of the room were recently nicely upgraded, the floors, bathroom and shower for example. Yet is looks as if when they invested in those things they did not simply finish the job by paying attention to details by cleaning the grim and simple painting of walls that needed it. If they did they would get higher ratings.

Room and bathroom floors were filthy and I am sure dirty mop water was definitely used with a ton of Lysol to make it seem clean. I took a wet towel to the floor and it was black when I got done. The shower was missing tile and had zero water pressure. It’s an older cheap motel, so you get what you pay for. It was quiet at night.

It took us no more than half an hour after check-in to check right back out again. A dying cockroach on the floor greeted us upon entry into the bathroom. We felt unsafe, given the skid row clientele. Avoid at all costs! A much better option: the Quality Inn located directly across the street behind the gas station. If possible, we’d give this a 0/5 star review.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to all the negative reviews. These people need to pay up and stay at 4/5 star hotels. The room was extremely clean. No issues whatsoever. I was allowed to checking early and given extra time to checkout. I would stay again and again for my fly fishing trips. Oh, the TV was great. Had many channels (like TBS for watching Dodgers playoff)

Dirty floors, my white socks were dirty within 3 minutes after taking off my shoes for all 3 days I stayed there!

Bed bugs on the beds! Do not stay here. No cleaning at all, there was dust and dirt all around the room and bed bugs on the beds that can ruin your vacations. Also the shower floor was broken and sharp, so be careful if you go barefoot. We left the hotel at the very moment we saw the bed bugs. We told this to the man at the reception and he told us in a very rude way that we could leave the hotel if we did not like the room and services and looked like he does not care about the cleaning of their motel.

The room was very dirty and smelled of some chemicals when we checked in. On the second day we found a bed bug. When we presented it to the staff they did not see it as an issue and said they wouldn’t refund us even tho we were checking out early since we didn’t want to stay somewhere with bed bugs. It is the cheapest in the area for a reason it is filthy and the staff are extremely rude. STAY AWAY.

Tv had zero channels. Sink was hard to turn off, hiring a real plumber would fix that. Typical Indian run motel. Cheap Cheap Cheap.

Room was as expected for the price. The WiFi was the worst ever. I had a "dial-up" flashback.

Staff was very kind. The only food is inside the casino restaurant, which closed at 9, unless you go to the gas station next door. I had to mess with the TV for like 30 mins to get it to turn on and work, which was irritating after a long day of driving. It was like 21 degrees outside when we arrived at our hotel, and got inside and realized whatever central heat they have that is controlled by the thermostat on the wall did not work. There was a plug-in furnace heater already in our room, so we had to place it in between the 2 beds.. It kept us warm while we slept, but the rest of the room was freezing (bathroom), etc. so needless to say there were no showers that happened. It was just an irritating set of issues for people that were on the road for hours prior to arriving. We just wanted to relax in a warm room and watch tv but ended up faced with things we had to “fix” before we could even do so. The room itself was fine, the sheets were clean and the bed was comfy. However, I will not be staying here again. I paid for a warm and convenient place to stay for the night and don’t feel I got that.

Simply a good value motel. We were in one of the rooms on the first floor I suspect yet to be remodelled. Given the opportunity I’d probably ask if I could be accommodated in one of the single story motel rooms. Served our purposes well though no complaints all good and we’d definitely stay again if in the area.

Wasn’t expecting much because I just needed a bed for the night. Bed was lot bad. The pillows were a little funky. The bathroom sink was ripped partially off the wall and the toilet took forever to fill its tank and was very loud doing it. Ac blew very cold which was nice and the tv had lots of channels

It is very recently remodeled. Much nicer than I expected. I stayed here about 5 years ago.

The A/C could not be set to less than 79 degrees in the "cool" setting. Fortunately the fan stayed on all night to make it bearable, with the vent directed directly at the bed. The room's furniture arrangement looked as out of a thrift shop. The table and single chair setup blocked the door from opening completely. There was a flat screen TV on the wall, but I did not try it.

The rooms are dirty, walls and restroom were terrible. The “owner” is very RUDE. I went to check out at 10:30 am and he was very angry. He came out screaming that if I did not see the sign by the door. I said “yes I did but I need a receipt” he continued to scold me. Will NEVER stay here again. It’s a very outdated nasty motel.

I got here early because I had to be in Mammoth at a certain time. They were very friendly and let me check in early so I could drop my stuff in the room.

Room was not clean, wreaked of cigarette and weed smoke from down below. Woke up to someone trying to kick down our door and people fighting in the stairwell. Altercations from 9-12:30 am. We heard someone talking about getting a gun so we packed up and left after calling 911. They would not refund us only offered us another room 20 feet across the parking lot. Not safe, we had to put furniture in front of our door until we felt safe to go down the stairs. Pleaded for a refund and was met with greed and frustration. Pay 50 more and go to another place.

Upon arrival, I was told there was no reservation in my name-- even though I had confirmations for four hotel rooms, three under one reservation number and one under another. I was then asked to step aside so that the person behind me could be helped. Then I was told there were two rooms reserved but not four. However, I could book the two extra directly if I wanted to. I just wanted to finish my day, so I took the two rooms from my Expedia reservation and booked two more. This has happened to me before, and I will not be returning.

Wi-Fi internet did not work. TV did not work. Air conditioner did not work. Front office is empty and locked for most of the day. Unfriendly staff when you can find them. This was probably the worst motel stay I’ve ever had. I feel like I was scammed. Will never stay here again and no one else should either.

Great little place in the heart of Bishop – LOTS of places to eat nearby, all very walkable. Room was quiet, A/C worked well and was not noisy. A bit date in the interior, but clean and neat. Would stay here again.

Location and price was convenient

I was given a very quiet room without my asking for it. This is especially important because Highway 395 goes right by the front of the motel! The bed is as comfortable as other places that are twice the price. The only suggestion I would make is to replace the noisy bathroom fan. Appears to be family run, and the family pays a lot of attention to making guests feel comfortable. Plus it;s close to nearly everything!

NIce location in Bishop, can walk to stores and shops from hotel. Next to Bowling Alley that has good food and across the street is Whiskey Creek with lots of yummy options. Had hot water issues, but they were right on the problem. (Someone else in units used up all hot water in the tank.)

We always stay here when we are in Bishop. The rooms are clean and price is reasonable. In town and walking distance to pretty much anywhere.

Perfect location for a ski trip when you don’t want to stay in Mammoth Lakes. Clean, quiet, walkable.

Easy location off the main road for an overnight stay. It’s definitely dated but the bed was comfortable, had cable TV. Would stay again.

My particular room was at the end of the hotel, and vehicles coming through the drive-through across the street shined their lights right through the broken blinds. Fortunately the McDonald’s closed at 10 o’clock. Staff was very nice and the rest of the hotel seemed fine, although a bit outdated. For the money, it was fine, probably better not to be in that particular room.

This is a great place to stay if you only need a place to sleep. They did recently repaint and put in some new lamps and clean up the property a bit and I think the price is right for the comfort of the bed and I recommend this as an affordable place to sleep to be able to make the trip. I believe it’s under new ownership and now serve breakfast, which is a nice perk

We will never return. The bed was okay. We did not get any soup in our unit so went without showers. Breakfast was a joke.

The breakfast area was dirty inclusive the fridge. Everybody used the same butter box. The breakfast was small. I couldn't close the door in front of the fridge. Directly on the intersection, it was loud. The area around not really nice. When I ask for dinner, the front desk person didnt say that there is a road house and other burger restaurants. I would not offer this motel, never. .

Very clean, simple hotel. Many things broken, ripped, not fully functional and staff was very curt and unpleasant. But the property was very clean and in an ideal location. There is no breakfast, FYI.

The room was large and clean. There was a table for playing cards, which we liked. However, we had to remake both queen size beds because the bottom sheet, (which was not a fitted sheet), was put on sideways and did not cover the bottom 8-10 inches of the rough mattress cover. Other guests in the breakfast area said that their beds were made the same way.

Area is good. Breakfast was average.

Looked like rooms being remodeled. Trouble with the TV remote. The breakfast was nothing more than Small packaged Danish, cereal with shared gallon of milk, toast with jelly, yogurt. In all fairness It may have been new owners trying to upgrade the place. On a positive note,The room was very roomy and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked great and was walking distance to everything we needed.
