Clean and process is easy. Excellent, well thought out space with usable kitchen. They do charge for an extra car which I think is unnecessary since this hotel is in the "country" where parking is not at a premium like in the downtown area.

This spot is a gem away from the busyness of Newport. The tiny house we rented was beautifully appointed, the pool is lovely, the staff accommodating and friendly. Sachuest beach is a 12 minute drive and Thames street less than twenty. Altgough the property sits close to the busy east main road, the sounds of traffic are not a problem. The Newport Wine vineyard is right next door, accessible from the property! I’ll be back’

Facility was nice and clean, however, considering the price point a bit less impressive than we had hoped for. Parking of vehicle was not conveniently located near our unit, which was on the second floor. Also, no elevator so hoisting heavy suitcases up the staircase was a hassle. Kitchen supplied only dark roast coffee pods, no other choices.

Do you need to have an electric car charger to make the property one that I would definitely come back to…. In every other aspect, we really loved it.!! It was very difficult to find a way to charge my car and had to go to a lot of extra trouble to do some.

The only issues we had was a tick in our bed on Wednesday morning that thankfully did not bite either of us and a dirty comforter. There were what appeared to be blood or dirt marks on it. We tried to keep it covered with the sheets, but it was still kind of gross. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

We stayed in one of the cottages with our dog. The cottage was immaculate. One would never know there’s dogs in there. Perfect for two people, very well stocked kitchen, king size bed, walk-in shower, and the washer and dryer was a bonus, although we didn’t use it. Out during the day so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit. It was very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back and stay there again.

We really enjoyed this place as it was quiet and felt secluded away from the main downtown area. If you're looking for a cute little getaway this is your spot. Our wifi was out for the first two days but we were gone a lot so that didn't matter.

One bedroom was beautiful. However I could hear the rooms above me & next to me. Parking was a hassle bc it’s away from front door & made carrying luggage difficult. The room itself was perfect! Kitchenette w coffee & Bose speaker was genius!

Cute condo-like room in a newer property. Very comfortable and communication from management via text and email before we arrived was good. We received a door code so no need to check in. Had an assigned parking space. The only issue we had was the noise from the floor above us and the stairs next to us.

Relatively new facilities. We arrived in a rainstorm and found several large puddles to contend with to get from the road to the room— the landscaping needs a little more drainage. Contactless checkin was great. Room is great, with kitchenette. Sound insulation is poor. We clearly heard the residents of the neighboring room last night when they got in. The HVAC system is loud. I thought it could be intentional white noise until it cycled off, then back on, regularly all night. While the bed was comfortable, the noise kept me awake. It takes 90 seconds for hot water to arrive to the spigot or shower. The amount of water being wasted is unreasonable. An inexpensive recirculating pump system with a sensor to bring hot water to the faucets quickly would be a huge improvement. Water is a scarce resource—there is a lot of it going down the drain at this hotel.

The East Island Reserve Hotel was absolutely amazing--an incredible value for what you get! The accommodations felt more like a stylish apartment than a hotel room. The unit had a fully equipped and well-supplied kitchen, a cozy living room with a pull-out sleeper sofa, and even a convenient half bath downstairs. The upstairs featured a comfortable separate sleeping area and a full bathroom, making it perfect for relaxing or traveling with family. I was beyond impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

It’s just one big air conditioner system for all the lodge. It’s incapable of keeping the room cold during summer days above 90 degrees. The room temperature was always 74 despite much lower settings to be able to sleep. This is a permanent problem. The administration knows about it, but they do not disclosed it before booking. Next door neighbors was a little colder but still unable to reach the thermostat temperature.

The little cottage is very clean and comfortable. The only thing lacking is the hot water. They have very small hot water tanks (that’s what we were told when we called to ask them to look into the lack of hot water in our shower). Literally 5 minutes of hot water. Then you had to wait 20 minutes to get 5 more minutes of hot water. It’s really a shame because it’s a really cute place but spending $400 a night for the weekend, I’m sad to say we won’t be back.

The cottage was perfect for 2 W soap towels & sheets provided w king sized bed TV & shower on 2nd floor Full kitchen with pots pans dishes dishwasher sofa bed Tv half bath on first floor. It was very clean almost like new - cottages were spaced out nicely also a pool. I would stay again! It is only 15 minutes to Easton's beach & cliff walk in Newport.

I arrived in the evening (solo), and experienced a loud, knocking sound with the HVAC system every time it turned on and off. I e-mailed management and Aggie was there that morning to help resolve the issue. The room I stayed in was in The Lodge, and it was super cozy and very clean. Excellent customer service to boot. Main Road can get busy thus making leaving the property a little longer than expected. Plans for a return visit for sure!

Pros: cute, clean cottage with style ; maintenance crew was responsive and friendly ; convenient to vineyard, beaches, shopping (within 1-3 miles) ; main bathroom had heated tiles (it seemed it was always warm), fan in bedroom, lush landscaping. Cons: Front desk rarely answered the phone. First key code did not work. No consideration given to early check-in. Sink was slow to drain. No screens on windows, to allow for fresh air without bugs.

Loved our little suite with a fireplace. Perfect for our girls weekend. Spotlessly clean and so cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed for late night snacks and breakfast. Easy to get to and minutes to everything we wanted to do in Newport proper. Would absolutely stay here again. They only reason I gave a marginal response to staff was that we simply did not see any. Perfect check in, everything was emailed to me in advance and instructions for everything were clear. Loved this place!

This hotel was very pretty and in a great location. The issue we had was 2 days before we recived an email with a pass code saying at 4pm the code would be activated. We arrived a bit early as we were there for the night to do our engagement photos. We waited until a few minutes after 4 and tried the passcode. After typing in 3 numbers the door blinked red and wouldn’t allow us to open it even after typing in the 6 digit code. We went to the front desk and were told “it’s a few minutes after 4 and the code probably hasn’t been activated yet. I’ll be over in a few minutes to try it out” so we waited 5 minutes to have him check. After the door was checked we walked over to open it and it was still not letting us in. We saw the guy form the front desk walk by and he said it’s blinking red because it needs a new battery. Someone will be over soon. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait because we only had an hour to get ready for our pictures. I asked if he can atleast open the door for us and he said the code will still work. We said it wasn’t and we found out it was because he had a 4 digit code and we were given a 6 digit code that was totally different. After almost an hour someone came to change the battery. I hate to make a big deal out of things but we do pay to be able to access the room at 4. Unfortunately the other down side is if you’re on the bottom floor you can hear everything above you. The people above us got into a fight at 12:30 am and heard all of it.

No reception. Our unit was not easy to find. No clean towels next day. Room not made up. Can’t get ahold of anyone after 5:00!! Bathrooms are tiny! Generally nice place on the outside but wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed for an overnight visiting daughter in Salve Regina. Nice break from downtown Newport and to a pleasant surprise directly next to a winery /brewery for late drink. Great location

This is quite possibly a hidden gem! The room was so big and spacious! The shower in the bathroom was huge. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It was about a 10-15 drive to downtown Newport, but well worth it. We were able to walk next door to Newport vineyards. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We were quite comfortable in The Lodge. All the joys of Newport just s short drive away. And, Newport Vineyard is a very short walk across the property. Tap Root Brewery is on the same premises. East Island Reserve is well conceived & maintained. Definitely a return trip is planned.

We had an amazing time and loved our stay! Was so nice to have a kitchen and all the amenities. Wish we could have tried the pool but the hours didn't work out for our schedule. Awesome to have that there, though! We most likely will be back for another stay as this was our first time in Rhode Island. Highly highly recommend a stay here! Thank you.

Facility was nice and clean, however, considering the price point a bit less impressive than we had hoped for. Parking of vehicle was not conveniently located near our unit, which was on the second floor. Also, no elevator so hoisting heavy suitcases up the staircase was a hassle. Kitchen supplied only dark roast coffee pods, no other choices.

Great property...rooms were clean, comfy, spacious and well-appointed. Pool and surrounding area was very pretty, and the "welcome center" was a nice retreat to get coffee and socialize with friends. I would absolutely stay here again.

We really loved it here and would stay again. My husband and I arrived on our check in day and were emailed the key code to one of the cottage style rooms. It was so perfect! We love to have some independence and not be stuck in just a room. There was a full kitchen (again, love this option and it was so nice) but the stove and oven didn’t work. We did make a call to Guest Services and the girl was so sweet on the phone and assured us Maintenance would call and check in but never did. Small fridge that was perfect for the 5 days we stayed but no real freezer/no ice that we could find but it did get cold enough to make a tray at a time. The key gives access to the HEATED salt water outdoor pool but the hotel’s community room, boasting full access and place to gather if you have a larger group or want coffee, etc…was not a reliable option. It could have been us, but it was locked most times we tried to enter. That being said, it’s a beautiful space and I think the one thing I would recommend overall to this hotel is that the communication is poor on what is where and how and when to access amenities. Again, LOVED it overall, but if we had kids with us, as our other cottage neighbors did, a non working oven/stove with no follow through would have been very hard and even more frustrating. Yay for the washer dryer! We had to pull hard on the door to find it, so don’t be scared to pull some, they swell in the humidity. Overall, we will stay again

We stayed in one of the cottages with our dog. The cottage was immaculate. One would never know there’s dogs in there. Perfect for two people, very well stocked kitchen, king size bed, walk-in shower, and the washer and dryer was a bonus, although we didn’t use it. Out during the day so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit. It was very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back and stay there again.
