The location was terrific, with a great view of the strait of Georgia, and convenient to everything. I love being able to park right outside the door to the unit. A bit of sprucing up in the bathroom is required. Very good value for the price.

Nice quiet place if you'd like to go for walks along the shoreline. Nice staff (no room service but that's ok with me). Big rooms (a bit outdated) with nice beds, but quietness will depend on your neighbours. Large parking space por drivers' peace of mind.

I don't like writing bad reviews but am really feeling uncomfortable staying here due to the condition of the room. The room has seen better days. The bathtub looks filthy, once the smell of nilodour goes away, the smell of urine is very strong. The fridge was leaking so I asked for some rags to put on the floor. The side of the mattress digs into you when you try to get into bed. There are dents in the walls, a lot of chipped paint and rust. There aren't a lot of cars parked in front. If there are better rooms unoccupied I suggest putting guests in those rooms first. This room is not worth over $200 a night after taxes. Our room is poorly maintained.

The worst dive ever. Mould on tub Disgusting bathroom ceiling and baseboards. In need of repairs. Smelled of smoke so strongly I gaged all night. Smell of some kind of perfume scent possible to get the bad smell out of the room. Fridge not cleaned out smelled of rot and dirty. Super disappointed for 138 Gross gross gross

I booked this property based on the positive reviews. What I found was disappointing. Not terrible, but not the super clean establishment that some reviewers sited. I stayed in two different rooms and both were the same. Bathroom floors looked like they had been damp mopped, and all the little bits of grunge were piled up in the corners. Dozens of dirty hand prints on the inside of the front door. It hadn\'t been wiped for months (or years). Certainly not close to "clean".

This is an older property that needs a few very minor touchups inside the rooms but was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning would be a plus. The manager was pleasant and helpful. I will stay here again.

Safe, quiet and comfortable are must haves. Far enough from the road that there wasn't much road noise. Bathroom and bedding very clean. Although next to a liquor store, the area was quiet. It would be helpful to put a list in each room of restaurants that are open for breakfast and at what time. Comfortable beds. If the bed had been any higher I would have needed a step stool to get on it. I'm 5'3. The baseboards and heaters need a good scrubbing.

It was a pretty average motel. It was conveniently located and in walking distance to some very good restaurants. It was also the least expensive place I stayed during my trip to Vancouver Island. My main complaint was that the mattresses were not very comfortable.

The room was large, clean and quiet, for being on a major road. Check in was easy. Coffee pot and fridge in our room. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the floor. We were on ground floor and it was a bit uneven.

On this busy weekend, this was one of the few relatively affordable hotels in the area. The hotel unit was clean with laminate flooring and clean beds. In hot weather, I probably would not stay given lack of any air conditioning. Opening the windows on a busy street is not ideal to keep the room cool If it’s not hot, I think this hotel is great value for money for a short term stay

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. They sink in the middle causing both people to be squished in the middle. I used to love this location but unfortunately with the beds the way they are I won't stay again.

Reasonable price, well maintained, and very clean. However, it was a little noisy due to being on a main street and the room was quite warm (perhaps because the air conditioner had not yet beeb installed for the summer) making getting to sleep difficult.

The rooms are clean enough, but they smell of cleaning agents. The odor of the first room was unbearable for me, although some people might not mind the citris smell. The owner was kind enough to move me to another room with less odor. Alas, this room had no deadbolt or even an operable chain on the door (a chair did fit under the door handle--I've never done that before!) and the guests overhead woke me when they walked overhead. Fortunately most guests were quiet but walls and ceilings are thin and the windows rattle. Argh, not good night. The linens are fresh, but the property is a bit run down.

Good in general. Room is big. There is a bath tub and plenty of hot water to fill it. Staff is very helpful and understanding of the needs of disabled clients. The few things that can be improved are... Hardwood floors are not even, and can be cleaned more often. Internet speed is slow. Yet. I would recommend this place to travelers for one or two nights.

The motel is right on the road, with lots of late night and early morning traffic. Had to sleep with the window open as the air conditioner was a unit that only sorta fit into a gap in the window, the pipe kept falling out, and was noisy.

Basic hotel/motel set-up. Lovely view, nice to see cruise ships passing by, all lit up. Staff was friendly although nobody in the office from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Not a problem for me, but could be if you lost your key or had some other kind of emerency.

Stayed for four nights. Room was dated but very clean and comfortable. I found the “welcome” email I received right when I booked a little aggressive, but did not have a negative experience at all. Both people I interacted with were fabulous and friendly!! Would definitely stay again!!

We've stayed here several times passing through Campbell River. If you want some entertainment in the evening, grab a drink and walk across to the boat launch across the street....lol. The staff (owners?) are so nice and accommodating. There's dining options within walking distance and a great waterfront walkway right across the road. Will stay again in the future.
