Its very simple. I stayed at several hotels in Bilbao. 4 and 5 stars all. Ercilla de Bilbao Autograph Collection is the best on all factors. Staff, including even a concierge, and helpful bellboys. Great bars and the rooftop bar will steal your heart away. Two stays for me in this hotel. Best and most central location, quality of rooms are very high and an eye on details. Many things. Best views also in Bilbao. Its an outstanding hotel♥️ I will surely be back one day.

Location and friendly staff. Stairs to enter the hotel still an issue when arriving with luggage. Small lift problematic when busy. Price of 25E for buffet breakfast very high compared to other hotels we have stayed in.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen mitten in der Stadt, nahe zur Metro uns zum Guggenheim. Wir hatten ein zimmer im 9ten Stock. Es war sehr ruhig, in den hochfrequentierten Zeiten aber nicht leicht einen der 3 Aufzüge zu bekommen. Frühstück ist super und der Service klasse.

Our stay was great. Perfect location. Walking distance to all important places. Excellent breakfast. You have to reserve the parking ahead, we didn’t but we were lucky they help us with this matter.

First Impressions The exterior is drab - the photos online are clearly a photoshop job - and the interior feels dark and dreary, missing the mark on atmosphere. Service with a Side of Disappointment Service was abysmal, except for the concierge team and a lady who I think was named Bea (Spanish/Australian lady) on the roof terrace. The reception staff had as much charisma as a potato, and the waiters on the roof were quite rude. Room Comfort On a brighter note, the small rooms were comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows. Each room had a gown, slippers, a coffee machine with takeaway cups, and complimentary water daily, which was great for early risers in a city with few morning coffee options. The shower gel, soap, shampoo etc were a terrible quality - felt watered down. I went out to purchase my own. A Rainy Day Frustration I was disappointed by the lack of umbrellas for guests. When I asked about this, the receptionist laughed and suggested I “complain to corporate,” which felt dismissive. The Roof Terrace The roof terrace was decent but overpriced, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach there, which was frustrating. Facilities The lifts were tiny and slow, leading to constant waits. The gym was decent. Final Thoughts While the location is good, Bilbao is compact; as long as you’re in the city centre, you’re within a 15-minute walk of everything. Overall, the hotel has potential but desperately needs to improve its service and atmosphere.

Air conditioning was malfunctioning. Could not cool the room below 22c. When I complained they admitted there was a problem affecting the whole building but offered no compensation or other action. WiFi was not working. When I complained they admitted there was a problem with new iPhones but, as with AC, offered no compensation or other action.

No había suficiente estacionamiento , y el internet que había en el hotel era pésimo . Tuvimos que contratar un servicio de internet porque prácticamente incomunicados

The hotel is in a good location for the modern centre of Bilbao and the roof-top bar is a good feature, although a little expensive (€8 for a beer). The air conditioning was not working throughout our stay and I have heard from people who stayed at other times that this was not a one-off.

Nice hotel friendly staff and pleasant high quality room. However AC not working and hasn’t been for a while according to staff. Rooms unbearably hot. No fans even. Why weren’t booked guests warned? Poor

Værelse passer ikke til beskrivelsen,,, det der blev tildelt, var en hel del mindre, dårlig kontor plads, badeværelset var beskidt med klinker der var revnet og i stykker. udsigt fra værelset var en møgbeskidt baggård og vinduet kunne ikke åbnes ret meget elendig service fra receptionen, sprogbarriere, de forstod ikke særlig godt engelsk. møblerne på tag terrassen var udslidte og fuld af huller. Af et hotel i Marriot kæden, så er det godt nok et ringe hotel

Excellent hôtel, très bien placé, calme, très propre et confortable. Un tout petit peu déçu par les oreillers un peu trop ferme, mais c est mon avis personnel. Je recommande fortement.

Service in bar while waiting for room was shocking, got acknowledged twice but no service, two staff only customers Went to roof terrace, again terrible service, ordered a 2nd beer when half way down mojito didn’t come until we’re on way out to pay, so refused it, again more staff than customers. Tiles in shower were mouldy, one side of bed was on way to collapsing, drinks table did not get wiped of marks in 3 days Only 3 very small lifts which was not sufficient for number of rooms but one was out of order for most of stay This hotel seems to think it is something special by extortionate prices charged for stay and in bars, but it is way past its best

総体的には良いホテルだと思います。 3泊しましたが滞在中に断水、停電が一回づつありました。 浴室の排水が悪く少し不快でした。

A declining hotel, with dated facilities, clearly going down quality. Check in was terribly slow lasting about 25 min. The bathrooms have no ventilation whatsoever, not even a fan, leaking shower cap, poor and expensive breakfast, with the regiular ham stinking sour probably expired did t dare tasting, very hot on the hallways on the 8th floor with no air. We had 2 rooms and in one of them we saw a cockroach in the bathroom.a deteriorating property im urgent need for a revamp in some areas.

The views from the top floor were wonderful. Our room met our expectations in every way. The shower was definitely tricky and it was impossible to avert flooding the floor.

Et ganske udemærket hotel som ligger godt og god gåafstand til byen. Meget venligt personale og morgenmaden meget fin - men lidt til den dyre ende. Vores værelse var udemærket - men jeg tror ikke at vi fik det som vi troede vi havde bestilt, da jeg i sin tid bookede dette hotel. Der var sorte pletter i loftet på badeværelset og mærker efter vand og også lidt mørke render omkring bruseren og mærker på bordet ved håndvasken - måske efter håndsæben og bodylotion beholderne. Men ellers var det en fin størrelse og gode håndklæder. Der er en fin restaurant på hotellet og en bar og også en bar på toppen af hotellet med udsigt over byen' Alt i alt et fint hotel med venligt personale.

It was my first time in Bilbao and what a great place to stay. The room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Great selection.

La chambre est très calme. Le seul défaut est un wifi plutôt médiocre. Le bar / terrasse au dernier étage mérite la visite pour la vue superbe et d'excellents cocktails. Nous avons trouvé très médiocre la qualité de la cuisine servie dans le restaurant du rez-de-chaussée, avec un choix de vins anémique, et un service pas très courtois. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner, hors de prix.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Our room had two separate bathrooms with walk-in showers and a separate living area including a turntable, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl, and a hot of arty, coffee table books. What more can you ask for?

Dejligt hotel på alle måder med god rolig beliggenhed. Stort værelse med god seng. Skøn rooftop bar og god morgenmadsbuffet.

Good location, good and clean rooms

Wifi in bedrooms extremely poor or none existent. Reported three times on consecutive days, on each occasion I was informed it would be addressed and a signal booster would be installed in room. Sadly this was not the case.

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were all very kind and helpful and the rooms were clean. The hotel is in a very convenient location to walk around Bilbao. However, I would not stay again for a business trip - the WiFi was so bad that most websites would not load and frequently the signal was so weak I could not even connect to the WiFi. I could not complete my work while here. But if you do not need the internet, then I would recommend!

A very nice hotel with a beautiful rooftop bar and great views of the city and surrounding mountains. The breakfast was also very nice but didn't start until 0700 which I suppose is standard in Spain. The rooms are a little date and I didn't have much of a view from my windows but was comfortable still.

Good hotel in a good location on the newer side of Bilbao. Walking distance or short train ride to old town (casco viejo). Plenty of shopping and dining options. Close to train transportation. The hotel has a convenient and nice rooftop bar and bar lounge. The rooms could be uodated, carpets a little worn and bathrooms dark and not very big. Wi-Fi was sufficient but not the strongest and didn’t work on the rooftop. Bellboys were helpful. It was a decent value might find a more updated newer hotel for similar value.

Really nice room, lovely rooftop terrace bar (reserve a table in advance), very good breakfast buffet. Very good service. Only gripe was that the WiFi in the room wasn’t very strong - they did sort it but made video calls tricky.

The check in. We had to queue twice for a good period of time. We were led to believe we had checked in early in the morning with our passports etc taken. We were told we could leave our luggage and just collect our keys in the afternoon. After queueing again a demand was made for our passports again which were in our luggage. Eventually after checking again by the receptionist we were given our keys. Made to feel we were trying to gain access to rooms that were not ours.

The lad for Horsham on the front desk was really helpful and spoke excellent English. Thank you

Wonderful hotel centrally located and well priced. Rooftop terrace bar was a treat for both light food and drinks. The doormen, reception, housekeeping, catering staff could not have been more attentive to our needs. A special mention must go to Joanne and her colleagues on Reception who worked so hard to get us wonderful restaurant bookings at short notice. We definitely recommend this hotel.

フロントスタッフの英語がスペイン訛りが強く非常に聞き取りにくかったです。 二つある朝食会場の説明がとても分かりにくく難儀しました。荷物を運んでくださったポーターの方に改めて聞き直してようやく時間帯とメニューの違い、会場も判明しました。 キーカードも設定ミスで使えず取り替えてもらわなければなりませんでした。 四つ星にしてはお粗末だと言わざるを得ません。 朝食はとても美味しかったし、サーブスタッフもとても親切でした。

The hotel front desk staff took 30 minutes to check me in, and I often saw other guests taking longer. The refrigerator was locked twice and could not be opened, and the second time I gave up trying to get it opened. The front desk staff didn't even know the airport bus schedule, which was obviously available online, and told me to check at the stop.

Top Hotel in bester Lage. Man kann zu Fuß sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Fußballstadion San Mames, Guggenheim Museum, etc.... Hotelstandard sehr hoch und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet...

Location is very convenient. Walking distance to Guggenheim. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is attentive and friendly. Good value for money.

It is in a central part of the city not far fron the plazza moyuo. Easy to get to off the bus from the airport. Also a short 15 min walk to the old town.
