Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Henry who helped me arrange a ride to the airport. The property itself is in need of a renovation. Furniture damaged and chipped. Linens not of the highest quality. Pool was closed, lights did not work in the gym. Hot water and heating were very good. No restaurant or room service.

This is my second stay in 4 months time. The location is very convenient (just off the interstate.) and the convenience store a half block away is very helpful. Generally clean, though the hallways could have used some attention. The design and the decor of the facility is very stylish (modern rustic?) The elevator was of concern. The room was clean and well appointed, though the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The replacement offered was not any better. The staff was friendly and efficient. Over all, a good value.

The staff that we met were kind. It was not their fault. The hotel had noises coming from every end. Not what you'd expect. There was a constant beeping at the front desk. The breakfast was closed. The elevator was terrifying and smelt like old milk. All of the carpet smelt like old milk. Our room was incredibly gross. The corners of the bathroom looked like they were never cleaned ever. We got multiple calls to our room and just had the person on the other line hang up or hang up and call again. The front desk called us before 8am and said that our room was never paid for which is unexpected but also not their fault. Again, the front staff members were kind and doing their best. The hotel itself its just pretty gross.

Pool was down for repairs. However, after we booked our stay, we did receive notification of it from the hotel. Which I liked. Because we stayed at another hotel once where this happened and we were not notified. Made a big difference in how I rated this hotel.

Hotel is in need of some attention but has character. The carpet was worn, numbers on elevator doors were generally peeled off, beds were lumpy, wallpaper in bathroom was loose behind toilet, and there were space heaters in the lobby obviously to keep ice & condensation off the atrium windows. We used the gym which consisted of one treadmill, one elliptical and one bicycle machine - all of which were side by side & uncomfortably close. Also if you were much taller than 6’ you be very close to the ceiling. There were some free weights in the room. I guess better than nothing. We did not use the pool because of the slightly “rundown” feeling of the hotel. Although we did observe others happily enjoying it. A continental breakfast was advertised but was not encouraged/reminded by staff at check-in to “take advantage of it” so not even sure if it was available. Room had neat deco but again public areas of hotel obviously needed some TLC to really feel clean and well maintained.

The room was exactly what we needed for a short stay while in St. Paul for two concerts. The hotel is a short drive from downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. The only complaint I have is the parking lot needs better lighting. It was dark in the lot when we returned each night.

We have stayed here several times and there is a decline in maintenance. Sad to see as it was a unique hotel. Now it is just a step above Motel 6 with broken tvs, toilet seats and a strong smell of mold. Staff claiming we had 2 reservations as if they were going to charge us twice. Not sure we are returning. The pool has been closed every visit...bummer.

Very dirty, bugs in room, stained pillows, stained carpet, cup rings all over every counter, the lock in the door knob to my room was taken out. The tile ceiling in the bathroom was bulging, door frames were rotting, lobby smelled like cigarettes... I could go on.

I never leave negative reviews but this might be one of the worst places I’ve stayed. It looks great in the pictures online but it is so dirty. The ceiling above the shower is suspended tiles. They were moldy and looked like they were going to fall in. The toilet didn’t want to flush and overflowed from just a small amount of toilet paper. It’s way more run down than the pictures make it look. The front desk person was nice though. But I won’t stay here again.

Room was so damp/humid that the carpet still felt moist with the air conditioner and the bathroom fan running. There was mold in the bathroom. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, debris noted in corners and on the plush chair. No garbage can in the bathroom was weird. The one nice feature was good water pressure.

Older hvac units in room with thermostat on the unit, not the wall. Blows the curtains around and makes noise. Fridge, No microwave. Good coffee in room. Nice pillows. Beds were uncomfortable and creaky when you move. No working usb charge ports. Some of the outlets were highly worn and could barely hold a plug in, which makes it a fire hazard. Mold on bathroom ceiling.

Hotel room was FILTHY. Wrappers under the bed with an inch of dust, cop rings from drinks all over the night stand, bathtub plug was broken and wouldn’t hold water, pillows were flat, and bed was hard.

Run down hotel, not clean (hair on towels, floor, bedding), carpet in room very stained, stains on wall, dead bugs on floor under arm chair. Hallway reeked of pot both days we were there. Pool was out of order. Outside of hotel - nearly every tree is dead, parking lot is in terrible condition, handicapped spots aren’t really marked at all, long term residents (there clearly are several!) were hanging out at all hours. The only positive was the very friendly staff working the front desk. I would never stay here again!

The hotel is ok for the price and they did a god job with decor and reno (missed on the ceilings). Lowered my ranking because of wifi - not only it did not work, it was especially annoying as the website for the hotel states how important wifi ranked for the guests. We had 4 phones - iphone and 3 android phones, 2 mac computers, an ipad and nothing was connecting to the wifi. The front desk person was not helpful. The tech guys need to take a look at their network security settings - we just could not get to the sign in page. The iphone finally got connected and we used its hot spot but come on, we shouldn't need to work so hard to get a wifi in a hotel.

Average stay, got what we paid for. No big complaints, but nothing super spectacular to note. Bed could have been more comfy & in general walls are pretty thin. Kind of fun decor, but can tell just very basic renovations (not done great). Would maybe stay again for the price.

I booked hotel for 11th of jan - 15th. My flight was delayed so we ended up checking in late 230am. We ended up having to fly out a day early so checked an entire 24hrs early. I booked through a third party( expedia) they contacted to hotel to see about a refund and the hotel lied and said the we checked in early on the 10th. This has me pretty upset. No dining options ( resturant closed during covid) and there isnt much options in the area so that really sucked. Asked the front desk for coffee pods and they would only give me 2. Super loud at night. I wont stay here again

The property was not bad at all. It was 3 things that really bothered me. 1) They closed the pool at 5pm on the Friday when we arrived. According to them the pool at a leak. This was not the fact. They did not want to clean the pool while being sold out for the whole weekend with all the concerts. 2) 1 Staff member was horribly rude to us. Our fridge was not working and he told us he couldn't do anything for us and that he hates his job. 3) Our fridge was broken - Took 2 days for them to switch the fridge over after being told they couldn't do anything for us. The hotel was nice but these things really did effect our stay.

Staff was not forthcoming about policy, when I asked for a manager she belittled my concern. The chair & dresser in the room had very obvious food and stains. Part of the ceiling in the bathroom was caved in. They DO NOT offer any sort of breakfast. It was an all-around very unpleasant, uncomfortable experience, and we will not be returning.

I was only here for one night, and that was plenty for me. The bed was comfortable, and the room had what I needed, so that's good. But the room also had a funky smell in it, and the toilet had a chip or something on the toilet seat that looked like a stain. The door to the room also had a lot of space around it, so there was light coming through, which made me nervous. I could hear everything in the hotel. The parking lot wasn't well lit, so when I got back from dinner at 9pm it was very dark trying to get back in the building. Overall it was just kind of sketchy. Was it a bad stay? Not exactly. I got what I needed out of it. Would I stay there again? No.

A good inexpensive place to stay if you need to get up early for the airport. On a rather busy highway with limited dining options avaiable (there is a small restaurant on the property but apparently only open on the weekends). Mall of America is about a 15-20 minute drive.

The staff was very friendly and very apologetic. We selected this hotel because it has a pool (and hot tub according to the photos). They have been closed for some time. There is also no bar as listed. The WiFi would not work for us because our devices are Canadian. We have never had that issue before.

Pool was closed due to chemical imbalance but was not notified. The site also said they had a restaurant but also closed down… The beds were hard, it was noisy due to a party and the rooms looked like they tried to ball on a budget skimped in materials and worker quality.. Unless you are in a pinch, I highly do not recommend…!!!!!!

This was a very neat place to stay I loved the atmosphere inside the hotel and the rooms were very nice and the beds are very comfortable the pool was awesome the only thing difference was there was no breakfast you had to buy it out of the little store other than that it was awesome
