Great location with delicious food, great drinks and fun shops all around the hotel within walking distance. Only negatives are that rooftop bar is closed for “construction” and no mini fridge in room for a weekend stay.

Great neighborhood. Room was very small, with toilet in the shower, but I guess that's how you keep prices reasonable in NYC. We didn't mind the size. Our AC wasn't working; front desk said they'd fix it, but they didn't. One Keurig coffeemaker for the entire hotel is ridiculous. One staffer told a guest, "hey, it's free coffee, so don't complain" - as we stood in line for a looooong time.

Very good experience. The rooms are tiny as advertised. No surprises. Parking garage is in back of the hotel. A lot of one way streets so it took a minute to get around to the back of the property. Unfortunately the cafe was closed and so was the rooftop. That was disappointing but there were other areas open. I liked the location. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Lively. Rooms were surprisingly quiet. They offer free coffee and tea in the morning which was so nice and it was a very good cup of coffee. Staff was very nice too.

Consistently fine. I love the location. Rooms are small but the vast common areas make up for that. I’ve stayed here about 10 nights over the past year. The rooftop bar has never been open when I have been there. And this trip the small café on the first floor was closed for renovations. I’ll continue to stay here, but it would be nice to have a drink on the roof during one of my stays.

Parking around here was a little tricky, but do-able. Just pay attention to the signs. I only gave 4 stars on property because part or the roof top patio was roped off. Otherwise everything was top notch.

I stay at Pod almost every time I’m in the NYC area. Rooms are small, and I like that. Beds are pretty comfortable. Low-cost parking garage just around the corner. Subway stop is just a few blocks away. POD is my go-to.

Very little detail to cleaning. Dust throughout, shower/toilet room showed black dirt on the towel when it fell on the floor. Inside of shower door handle had remnants of grease and dirt buildup. Floors were not particularly clean in the whole room.

The best feature of this hotel is the location–prime Williamsburg near every hip shop and restaurant you can think of. The hotel is lacking, more hostel style with private rooms, probably for the younger set. While I knew the toilet was contained inside the shower area, I did not expect to be touching the toilet as I showered and attempted to clean myself. The towels and sheets are pretty shabby and I found hair that was not mine in multiple towels. Decent overall but I would not personally stay again.

This property was not clean. There are tons of reviews talking about the cleanliness of the rooms and I’m not sure what they are talking about. Maybe I got a bad room. But there was a general stench in the room that clearly comes from the bathroom which of course in an open plan room such as this is an issue. Obviously it’s a pod so be prepared to have little to no space to do anything. If you are staying here alone, then you will be fine, with someone else, even a small child, I would look elsewhere.

Excellent choice in *every* way – the location is beyond amazing, the space is modern and clean, and customer service was top-notch – but the smallness of the room is for real. I had a queen to myself, and can't imagine sharing with another human. There is much ingenuity to the design, but you will have to problem-solve. I kept banging my shin on the corner of the bed and had to balance my toiletries bag on top of the TP doohickey. And the shower/toilet combo is weird. And wet. Do not let this dissuade you! Just be aware. I would stay there again 100% and recommend to others.

Tiny is an understatement . If you don’t mind showering over the toilet and dealing with wet toilet paper it’s an efficient room in a good location. If you’re a fan of tiny homes you will love the clever use of space. I would have preferred less dorm style open space and room to walk around both sides of the bed in our room

Look, it's small - it says it right in the name. Don't go in expecting a penthouse suite, and you're going to be fine. Walkable neighborhood, lots of food options nearby, close to the subway. My only real complaint is that you shower over your toilet, but as long as you're traveling solo (or with a very close companion who you don't mind sharing EVERYTHING with), this is a great option.

The property is a 5 star and it’s clean, location great All good until you get the room key- it’s so small 100 sqft. Toilet and shower on the same space 3x4 ft (Shoebox) no where to move. No where to seat. Tv you need to watch while laying in bed . Queen bed block the room. I made reservations for 3days moved out next morning to a different hotel. The price DO NOT JUSTIFY THHR ROOM.

From checkin to checkout everything was efficient and professional. Ashley at the front reception was phenomenal!! The rooms are small but what I expected from photos. The outdoor spaces are lovely, spacious and on every floor it seemed! I would stay again, and would recommend. The beds were comfy, the AC was pumping and the housekeeping staff were very quiet during the day so napping was not an issue! Great location just off the L train.

4th stay at Pod Brooklyn. All in all the hotel fits my needs perfectly. I am though getting annoyed with the fact that they don’t really offer housekeeping. Even though I have asked for it on the last three stays, it happens once every three days after I re-remind the staff.

We really liked the neighborhood and the hotel itself. Very nice roof top, lots of great shops, restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket right next door. The rooms are small which is not surprising for a pod hotel, but very clean and quiet. The hotel itself is quite new which I liked as well.

The rooms are really small and completely without charm, but the facility is really clean, quiet and well run. The location is fantastic. I think the rooms are very expensive for what you get, and sadly the bar and restaurant were closed when I was there but I would stay here again purely for the location and convenience.
