STEVENSON RIDGE - BED AND BREAKFAST

This was an awesome find. We had no idea this was even here. We were looking for a hotel in the area for one night and ran across their site. We stayed in the "Post Office" cabin. Words cannot describe how well done this cabin and others on the property are.

It was living history while we explored history. So homey in a historical place with wonderful amenities.

Very clean, very organized, beautiful

The place, the Tabacco Barn, was lovely. We stayed for a week and never had any issues. There’s a fireplace and they stock dry wood fall through early spring. Heat pump has provided great heat. Nice central location to run to colonial sites or DC.

Hospitality was EXCEPTIONAL. LOVE that they're pet friendly. Walking trails right on the property where i could walk the dogs. Had dog bowls waiting which was so cool because i had managed to leave their water bowl at home. Comfortable bed/bedding. So... my friend and I stayed in the "White Oak" cabin. The toilet is in the one room downstairs with a curtain for privacy. I wish there was an actual door (not sure it is possible) because anyone in the room hears all bathroom activities and the "kitchenette" is literally on the other side of that curtain. That said, I still rate it 5 stars and will return! However, if i go for a romantic getaway, I would need a different cabin with demarcated toilet.
