The only downside I had was the parking. Not enough spaces. The cleaning ladies super sweet and helpful, front desk staff seemed ether frustrated or irritated at times when I asked a question about parking.

Great Coffee! Cheap toilet paper. Super slow elevators. Should of built 3 elevators instead of 2. Waited almost 4 minutes to get on one from my room to the lobby.

Everything about the hotel was great....except that the room was extremely hot upon arrival. I thought that perhaps the a/c had been turned off and just needed to be restarted but it didn't work at all. I informed the desk and they did send someone up promptly. They messed with it and finally got it going but it was definitely struggling the whole time that I was there. It did keep the room cool so overall it wasn't that big of a deal. As I mentioned before, everything about this hotel is good. Plenty of restaurants and a bar in the hotel lobby. I'll stay there again.

I called to see if we could check in early and the young lady told us no. I went to the hotel and the same young lady allowed us to check in early. The lady at the desk was polite but not welcoming or friendly. Since I was visiting the I would have liked to know what the area had to offer. Once we got up to our floor the carpet in the hallway had an odor that seemed like they attempted to clean the carpet but failed. When we got to our room the black cover to the to room door for the key was on the floor in the hallway. I had to put it back on the door before entering the room. Upon entering the room it was ok but there were stains all on the wall in the bathroom and on the floor. Can’t tell you what they were but it didn’t look good. The shower head needs to be replaced it had a disgustingly amount of buildup around the entire thing. The caulking around the shower needed to be resealed and had mold. The water pressure was a joke and the water from the shower had a smell to it. The pool was not open Honestly if we had time and extra spending cash we would have just booked another hotel.

To Whom It May Concern: Good evening, My name is Edward Giles. My family and I traveled from Houston and checked into your hotel on May 16, 2025, after a long and exhausting five-hour drive, which included both traffic and weather-related delays. Unfortunately, our experience upon arrival was deeply disappointing and distressing. After checking in around 9:00 PM, we were eager to rest. However, as we settled in, my son discovered blood stains on the bedsheets. Further inspection revealed additional concerns—strands of hair and discoloration on the linens that strongly suggested they had not been properly cleaned. I immediately went to the front desk around 10:15 PM to request fresh linens from Mr. Jordan. I was assured that someone would come to assist us, but by 10:50 PM, no one had arrived. I returned to the front desk and was told by Mr. Jordan, that the staff member responsible had not responded. Given the circumstances, I requested a room change, and we were moved to Room 503. The next day, I went to the front desk to ask to speak with a manager. Mr. Jordan directed me to Cameron the floor manger. Cameron stated we would have to wait until Monday in order to see what happened with the Housekeeping Manager. I as very confused as to why the customer has to wait for an answer from housekeeping to see what happened, that conversation would not help any customer at the very moment. I loved my stay at the Aloft-Richardson, TX. Parking was easy, check-in efficient, the entire facility was spotless, friendly and helpful personnel, all of this adding to the vibe of this Marriott property. To sum it up, you get bang for your buck.

The coffee maker in our room had old water in it so it obviously had not been cleaned in a while. There was stuff running down the walls in the bathroom. Not enough towels. Hotel was very noisy. Very small parking lot. Elevators were dirty. Person at front desk who checked us in was not friendly at all. A/C didn't work very well. Pillows were very uncomfortable.

Overall decent but our pillows were terrible and had a dirty smell, the tv shut off every 20 minutes which is not helpful if you need tv to sleep, the room was either to hot or to cold and seemed very humid , the staff were nothing to write home about , they did the bare minimum and definitely no warm greeting or information on the property. The bar was nice and bartender was friendly. They need to do some serious maintenance on walls and carpet. Being that the whole point of a hotel stay is sleeping I was not very impressed on those conditions.

While my boyfriend and I stay here often unfortunately one of the weekends we stayed the wifi was out all weekend, the service definitely isn’t the best here if we’re lucky we’ll have 1-2 bars- but the front service was incredibly nice and apologetic for the inconvenience we still enjoyed our stay and we’ll always be coming back here it’s a very safe neighborhood and everything is walkable

The hotel had not read my requests entered thru my reservation (upper floor and extra pillow). I know they're not required to, but it's good to know where they stand. Dont think the bottom bed sheet had been changed. Bed had dirt or crrumbs in it. Loud music downstairs, almost right outside our window until after midnight. Not aure a/c workinf quite right and it was really noisy. Lastly directions on where to park and how to find the front desk are seriously lacking. Oh and I hate the sliding door on the bathroom! It wouldn't stay shut!

Not one single complaint. The hotel is a premium location! Loved all the activity in the area and so many eateries within walking distance. Parking was great. I watched the front desk dude get hammered by multiple guest and his demeanor remained professional and still kind - wish I got his name but it was dude with a ponytail lol. Very sweet employee.

The day started out fine. Everything was normal. Seemed clean and safe. It is great location. Where everything turns sour was later that night we were trying to sleep and kids kept banging on the door. After several attempts to have them stop, I called down to the front desk and they didn’t want to do anything about it and basically told me that I would need to call the police if I felt there was an issue. So that’s what we did and the police took care of the issue, however I feel like the front desk should have taken care of the issue. We ended up leaving an extra night early because I didn’t want to deal with it the next night

Everything was good with the room i got, except staff. When checking in, front desk people were playing pool and seemed frustrated when i arrived and interrupted their game. When checking out, the lady at the front seemed very rude and frustrated to be there. Wasn’t even asked how my stay was nor was i thanked at all…. Horrible.

Cons: • Poor management, no manager onsite at 3pm checkin* • Front desk staff disinterested, apathetic** • Room worn, carpets dirty, cabinet drawers broken Pros: • Excellent location, near restaurants, DART 1 block, Whole Foods, CVS 2 blocks • Neighborhood quiet, safe, well-maintained • Elevated Coffee & Tea across street *Checked luggage with front desk at 1 pm and told room not ready because of “the type of room” we had (suite). Told by middle-aged woman at front desk our room would be ready at 3 pm (check in time). No problem we left to have lunch. Returned at 3 pm and room still not cleaned. Young woman at the front desk said it would be ready in 15-30 min. At 3:45 pm we asked about our room and young man at front desk was exasperated and unhelpful. Told us manager was out, could not be reached, and he was unsure when the manager would return. Room was ready at 4 pm. **I understand sometimes there are delays however, this was handled poorly. Management was MIA and despite being the only people waiting in the lobby, the young man and young woman at the front desk were not proactive in keeping us updated. We had to interrupt their non-work conversation to check on the status. Despite our being patient, they were uncomfortable and ill-prepared in informing us we’d have to wait longer. Young man told me he was frustrated and unhappy because he had to give me this news. I guess I was supposed to feel sorry for him because our room wasn’t ready and his manager was offsite?

Stayed here several time! Day person at the check in was awful! She couldn’t get me out of here way fast enough. Our room was on the 3rd floor with 2 queen size beds. A portion of our trip was celebrating our 34 year anniversary. When I asked to switch rooms to a higher floor with a king size bed, she somehow had the entire hotel reservations booked because she said, “I have nothing” without even looking. And immediately went back to talking to her friend and eating! There are many other “nice” hotels in the area where we plan to stay next time and NOT Aloft…

Clean, nice staff and love the dog park behind the hotel. Only complaint would be the dining service—I ordered chicken strips that were over cooked, dried out and unable to be eaten. They also offer 3 sides and then only had fries or salad available.

The property was new and the facilities were all there. The dining options were average but they were within walking distance which was great. I wish however there was a convenience store that was close by so I didn’t have to walk to Whole Foods for basic things. The hotel had basic food and water in the lobby though. The staff could be friendlier. I came in and didn’t notice the registration area because the hotel was very minimalist (the registration was literally a round table so it was easy to miss especially since no one was there). So I walked past the registration area and reached the bar, so I asked the bar tender where the registration area was, and he pointed where it was with a facial expression of “you just past it dummy”. So there. The property was great though. You can manage not to talk to anyone really.

Overall a great hotel was just very disappointed when I was booking online it was advertised as a breakfast buffet that I ended up paying $23 for and it was not a buffet at all.
