It was a positive experience but I had not been clear about the structure of the accommodations. The rooms are above a convenience store and you check-in at the store counter then walk up a back staircase to the rooms. Room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Free coffee at the convenience store.

Staff were friendly and spoke english also the location is close to the railway station, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has no lift but the room was a good size, it included a fridge, microwave and kettle. The room was en-suite with a clean bathroom. The room also had a TV and the bed was comfordable. I would stay here again if I ever return to Zurich

good budget friendly rooms in the heart of zurich and a 10 mins walk from the train station. the neighborhood has a very dynamic nightlife and is filled with restaurants, nightclubs and bars. it’s very fun to walk around in during the day but it’s not the most family-friendly area at night. a lot of drunk people hanging outside. the entrance is through a convenience store (open 24h) and the hotel reception is at the cash register of said store. the rooms are definitely not the nicest and you can tell that it’s a budget option but they do the job for a couple nights and everything seemed clean. IMPORTANT: there are 4 floors and no elevators so be prepared to go up the stairs with your luggage. also definitely go try the kebab place next to the hotel!!! cheap and very good

Freundlicher Empfang. Kaffee gab es kostenlos. Zimmer war sehr sauber. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Haben sehr gut geschlafen. Straßenlärm hört man bei geschlossenen Fenster nicht. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe vom Bahnhof und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir waren 3 Nächte dort. In dem kleinen Supermarkt vom Hotel kann man das nötigste kaufen.

The air conditioning didn’t work so I had to keep the door and window open, or it got hot and stuffy. The store downstairs was open 24/7 so people hung out and talked loudly until 2:00am. It was also where taxis pick people up. They would honk the horn when they arrived. Worst two nights of my stay in Switzerland!

La stanza era provvista di tutte le comodità, letto ottimo, poltroncina e tavolino, frigorifero. Piuttosto basica ma veramente con tutto ciò che occorre. Ottima l'insonorizzazione. Ottimo il wifi. A dieci minuti dalla stazione e a 25 minuti dal centro. La reception è un negozio aperto 24 ore in cui trovi di tutto ma di fronte ci sono un mcdonald e una coop. Non c'è però l'ascensore quindi potrebbe essere problematico per una persona anziana se ha la stanza al 4 piano

C’est très abordable, car il n’y a pas de service et pas d’air dans la chambre. Notre verrou sur la porte fonctionnait mal et le matin du départ nous étions incapable de l’ouvrir. J’ai demandé de l’aide en lui disant nous sommes embarré et la personne au comptoir venait voir et repartait en bas sans regarder avec nous notre problème. Après 30 minutes j’ai réussis à l’ouvrir et le commis (qui n’étais pas du tout occupé à son comptoir) était fâché qu’il était venu et qu’on ne faisait que demander à l’aide. Pourtant il est très au courant du problème de verrou. nous avons presque raté notre train.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Zurich but it is very basic and not well equipped, 1 mug, 1 large plate and 1 small plate - all for 2 people. The shower cabinet was missing part of a door so didn’t close the whole way and no where to hang wet towels. Also the bed is in a corner so one person has to climb in and out from the bottom. It is fine for a brief stay and the bedding was clean. On the plus side there is a 24 hour shop underneath so breakfast was on hand - fresh croissant and pastries.

Cheapest option we found for a last minute booking in Zurich, about 10 minutes to the train station on an easy walk. We checked in with a friendly staff member, which is actually located in a convenience store as the ground floor. He gave us the code to our room, located on the top floor (#51). Unfortunately there is no elevator. This had a roof top balcony overlooking the city which was quite nice! Bed was comfy, bathroom and shower were clean, the room came with a portable AC unit to help at night. Honestly exceeded my expectations for the cheapest double room available in town. We were able to grab food around the area, lots of options.
