Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Snyder

Everything was great with the exception of the swimming pool. I called prior making stay arrangements and was told the pool was open upon arrival was then told pool is open but has a few leaves in it, Wrong dirt debris off color basically non usable!

Swimming pool was closed no towels to shower and the staff was rude my daughter was making a waffle and the lady was putting everything away she turned off off the waffle machine.

The hotel was very clean with the exception of the pool. The water was dirty and had a greenish hue

Pool didn’t look clean it was green and they had to move me rooms because the a/c went and to a smaller room. No discount and breakfast sucked

Wait for 20 minutes to check in . Then the white lady tild me my id wasn’t valid. Then when we were going to the pool it was all green and dirty . So we didn’t even get in.

I did not get the room I reserved and paid in advance for. I was given the only room left, according to the hotel. I don’t understand why they would give my room to another guest when I had already paid for it. The room I was given was in dire need of repairs…the toilet seat was completely detached, the walls had patch paint work done, the shower curtain was full of holes. The pool was filthy and no fruit or bread on the comp breakfast. This hotel has gone down hill in the last 2 years. The staff is always friendly though

There was no internet, tv/cable didn’t work, there was small cockroach crawling in the shower, pool was dirty with bugs, leaves and dirt all on the bottom. Our room was by the boiler room and our beds would vibrate every so often from the boiler room. When we went to do laundry on second floor, it smelled like marijuana. Check in lady didn’t tell us when breakfast, WiFi, or checkout was

Traveled to Synder to visit my son who is attending Western Texas College. Upon checking in, the hostess was not pleasant. She didn’t welcome me and not even after I gave her my Marriott Member ID. She didn’t smile or recap my stay nor shared any information about the area/good eats or things to do. The elevator motor needs to be replaced. I had to use the stairs as it didn’t feel safe using the elevator. The ice machine on the 2nd floor is broken. The floors were dirty and need to be vacuumed. The room has an odor. Definitely not satisfied with my stay as this hotel did not meet Marriott standards.

Stayed here on 3 different occasions now, and this was the worst. We came into town after a 23 hour drive to find our room was not ready at 6pm (3pm) check-in with no estimated time. We returned back at 8:30pm and still not ready. Finally, at 9:15pm our rooms were ready. Two days prior we had booked 2 rooms with a request of both being in the same floor, receptionist said “not a problem, just remind us when you get here”. This was an issue and you check-in told us this request now may not happen. Hotel elevator reeked of weed and so did the 2nd floor. Elevators and halls dirty, gym is more subpar than before and just overall, was not a great experience. Unfortunate because we travel there a bit and our two previous stays were great. Manager said there was nothing she could do to refund our portion of the 6 hour delay at check-in, but could sign me up for a Marriott Rewards program. Not sure what that even equates too, but still haven’t see that either. I usually never write reviews and try to give people benefit of the doubt, but this was very disappointing for the money I paid. I would recommend not staying here. All of our future trips to Snyder, we will be looking elsewhere for a room.

98 degrees and the pool was closed.

My daughters bed had a vape left in it so we know the sheets were not changed! There were no luggage carts and never staff to speak to at the desk:

When we arrived (9 pm) there was no parking and no one at the front desk. The receptionist finally came and checked us in, get to room and the door was propped open - weird. There were no towels, no kleenex, and the door would barely close (only with a slam). I ended up having to park across a 4-lane road. Next morning the bad door wouldn’t open and had to go get front desk person again. Elevator, hall carpet, and lobby bathroom were quite dirty. Not our best hotel experience! At least the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

The property overall looked good, the bathroom in our room was dirty, nasty. Hairs on the bathroom floor, shower floor and walls. There was scum on all shower corners. That bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in a while. We arrived late at night and it was just one night stay, we would not come back. Breakfast was supposedly from 6-9 am, we went down at 8:40 and there was barely anything left, according to one of the employees, they don’t cook after 8:30am, so if the eggs are gone by 8:35 that is too bad.

Cheryl was kind, personable and efficient as always, but I could sense her frustration at not being able to wait on me more quickly. The room was fine, except there were places in the shower that appeared to have mold in the corners. Breakfast was good, as always.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. First room assigned, light in bathroom not working, coffee maker not working. Front desk assigned a second room. Clean room, but no shampoo. Front desk gave me a full dispenser. Quiet,soft mattress, peaceful sleep. Housekeeping never visited room. Trash, linens, beds never cleaned or tidied. Breakfast was made as presentable as possible by a pleasant woman. The product was acceptable. I have stayed at The Hyatt and Marriott Hotels in this small town, and will chose Hyatt from now on. For the same price point, I feel Hyatt tries harder.

Room was clean and service was great.

Rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. Sheets and blankets had stains on it. I would never stay or recommend this property to anybody. We stay at Marriott properties all the time but cleanliness is going down.

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable for my wife and I. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean. The hotel overall is in nice conditions, there is a few areas that need upgrading but overall we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely be back in the future. Front desk personnel was also very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a very good spot with convenient shipping and restaurants very close by.

We had a problem with the temperature of the bathroom water being too hot and no cold water. The manager said 2 other rooms had the same problem and they had a plumber working on it. They moved us to another room. Problem solved?

The hotel was absolutely amazing. Beautiful hotel, nice and courteous staff, and really comfortable beds. The only thing that was bad was there was a small child running around, yelling, and slamming doors next door but hotel wasnt at fault.

Place good just felt room was to small for the bed. Room was clean and guess everything accommodated to the bed. Would stay there again. The staff was friendly at check in.

Had to change room because A/C was noisy. Then shower head did not work correctly in the next room.

Arrived a little early but we were able to get into the rooms. Large room, could use a deep cleaning. Mattress could stand replacement. Breakfast was great, almost everything you could want.

Room was nice but lights in bathroom flickered and would not stay on and their was no hot water to shower on morning of departure.

Wifi doesn't work and couldn't even get cell service in the hotel, and the manager had a little attitude when checking in.

Very accommodating to our middle of the night arrival and late check out.

The person on duty at the checkin desk was more than qualified. She was prompt, pleasant, and very helpful.

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable for my wife and I. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean. Clean rooms with a safe area for parking.

Great facility! Staff at desk were great and the hotel is in great condition and well maintained. It’s located in a very safe area and in an area where shopping and dinning is easily accessible. We only stayed one night on the way to Austin but it will be our regular stop from now on.

It was an unplanned stay in Snyder…had planned to make it to Lubbock, but wind and sand got dangerous. This hotel met all our needs for a one night stay.

We stay at this facility most times when we visit Snyder. It's pet friendly and they do offer a hot breakfast.

We usually stay at this Fairfield at least once a year for a week. We brought our small dog and I understand the deposit but it was kind of pricey at $100. Another reason we liked this facility is the breakfast. Not many choices this year. My husband is partial to the fresh waffles and the were only available 2 of our 5 days. Only meat was sausage, no bacon. Our room was pretty clean and close to the back door so we could let our dog out. Ok doggy area.

I had to get up early for an appointment. I went downstairs at 7 am expecting to be able to grab my breakfast on the way out the door since it is advertised to be available at 6 am. Hardly anything had been put out, most of the serving dishes sat empty. that is an hour after they were supposed to be out

We pulled in around 10pm for a one night stay. Justin at the front desk had just finished mopping. The lobby was very clean and inviting. Our check-in was seamless, he was very polite and thorough. Our room and bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable with duvets. (This is lovely because all the bedding can be washed now between guests. As compared to some affordable hotels that still use comforters.) The bathroom is somewhat remodeled with new wallpaper/shower walls. It’s bright and clean. I could hear the people in the room next to me but only until about midnight. I just went downstairs at 6:15am for pretty good coffee and the complimentary breakfast looks great. They even have fresh hot biscuits. At $104/night, this place is awesome!

The lobby was clean and well maintained. My room had multiple marks on the walls and the bathroom walls had streaks of an unindentified dried substance. Breakfast was just a continental breakfast - dried cereal, waffles, oatmeal.

Arrived a little early but we were able to get into the rooms. Large room, could use a deep cleaning. Mattress could stand replacement. Breakfast was great, almost everything you could want.

Really nice hotel Staff is obviously hard working to make a pleasant and welcoming experience. Great breakfast, good coffee, and comfortable beds. Best hotel shower ever.

We have to travel to Snyder Texas every December for family visits. We have stayed at this hotel for 5 years. It is constantly nice and convenient for us. Very nice property. The breakfast is also very good.
