The room was quiet. But the carpet seemed suspect, thank goodness I had my flip flops. The pool was closed due to some maintenance issue. When it was advertised to be open. The breakfast was decent and the staff was hospitable.

I was very happy to stay here for a couple of nights. Amazing: - Lovely, friendly staff. - Clean. - Modern. - Rooms have good lighting. - The suite (which I got a free upgrade to) has nice furniture - a couch, a lounge chair with portable small table, and a desk. - Super nice bathroom & shower with quality shampoo / body wash. - Free EV Charging (which is not advertised in Expedia, you guys should add it, as it's what made me choose you) - Decent blackout for the night (except for one slightly annoying flashing light from a smoke sensor) - Good access for things to do around Kingston, but of course you'll need a car. Nitpicking really: - There is occasionally a tiny bit of noise from loud cars or trucks in the front-facing apartments, but it's really not too bad, the sound proofing is good. - The breakfast was fine, standard stuff, nothing special. - In order to charge your EV, you have to ask for the activation card every time you want to start the charge, and return it for other customers. The staff is very kind about it. Overall a really nice place and highly recommended.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston - Ulster was excellent from check-in to check-out. Richard at the front desk could not have been more polite or kind and bent over backwards to make sure that all of our rooms were not only on the same floor, but also right next to each other. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The only thing that detracted from our stay is that the furniture in the lobby was all stained very badly. Also, there was not enough comfortable furniture in the lobby or in the breakfast area. Those areas could definitely be made more inviting and comfortable.

Overall a good experience. Front desk staff was outstanding. Room could use a deep cleaning on the rugs. Shower had some mold in the door track but I'm sure the cleaning staff gets paid next to nothing so it's understandable. Bathroom sink drain needs adjustment ant the toilet ran on occasion.

I'm *very* picky when it comes to hotels and was so pleasantly surprised with my Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston-Ulster room! It was so, so clean!! The staff were friendly and helpful. . .I'm already visiting my next stay! I would highly recommend this hotel over more expensive Airbnbs.

Had a good night here after a lovely day in Rhinebeck. Only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the pool wasn’t open and the train that comes thru like every 40 mins blaring its horn right as it crosses by the hotel!!!! That train would be the only reason i wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was spacious & clean.Bed was comfortable The room was excellent. Staff very nice helpful friendly. Lobby clean bright open and airy.Did not care for the breakfast. Hot meal was good but the package pastry,hot buns and bagels were terrible.Look for a better company. They were all very dry. Coffee and lemon water offered was very good. Need to have maps of Kingston available for visitors. Navigational systems don't allow you to see the big picture of the city.

Disappointing. Very loud trains coming by every hour or so blowing the horn a dozen times, even at 4am. Tv is small and the cable service is extremely slow and outdated. Wifi was useless, kept dropping and never could get full signal in my room. Cell signal was very weak in the area as well. Had to go to the lobby to get usable wifi. The toilet ran constantly over my 2 day stay. Notified the front desk and they said it was fixed but it definitely wasn’t. Staff was friendly at check in but were not friendly at all at check out. They were not interested in hearing my feedback. Positives are that the facility is clean and beds were comfortable. Wish mgmt would have been more helpful and accommodating.

The woman at the desk is horrible. She cancelled our 2nd night room and not only did we lose out on our money, but she would not and still hasn’t released the money for then incidental. She was very rude and needs training in customer service.

The best place we have stayed in the area and we have been to 5 or 6 hotels. Clean, updated, and the staff is incredible. Polite, professional, upbeat, engaging. Breakfast is 5 star for us as a family. Won't stay anywhere else when we're in the area from now on.

I thought it was very noisy. It seemed like people were up all hours of the night. It was not a restful stay. On the other hand, the breakfast was great and your two hosts at breakfast were extremely helpful. They are a great asset to your chain. Job well done. Your outside premises could be brighter. We arrived after dark and it was difficult to see. You could also make the entrance to the hotel from the street much brighter.

We have stayed at this location several times. It is near events we visit annually. Good value. Not far from highways. Shopping & food spots all within 2 miles. It has been consistent place to stay each time. Within the greater Kingston area, Saugerties 10 minutes and Woodstock within around 20 minutes.

Great location. We stayed 1 night for concert at Levon Helm Studio in Woodstock. Very clean. Many dining options in area. Friendly Staff. Good breakfast: pancakes, eggs, 2 sausage, cinnamon buns, oatmeal. Large room, comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Modern decor.

This was the cleanest hotel we stayed at on our road trip - everything was immaculate. The breakfast was top-notch, with fresh fruit and many options. Our son enjoyed using the pancake machine! The staff members were extremely professional. The beds are quite firm. Would definitely stay here again.
