Grounds are cared for and manicured. The owner work with me until he was able to accommodate my last minute changes to our reservation. Nice pool, clean. Convenient to Wildwood and Cape May local businesses. Pet friendly with convenient walking area.

The room was clean, the bathroom could use new grout on the floor. The sink and tub needed their drain stoppers installed. Otherwise we loved the amenities and location. We had fresh coffee every morning, the pool was spotless and had new concrete borders. The pool had excellent sun on it and the lounge chairs were comfortable.

Recently travelled for a dance competition and was pleasantly suprised at how well updated and clean the room and facility was. 2 day stay was quiet and fun; got to enjoy the picnic area and pool as well.

We were looking for a basic room where we could stay near the beaches (Cape May/Wildwood) with our dog, and we got exactly that. I do not expect anything fancy of a Red Roof Inn, but it had what we needed--clean sheets, decent bathroom, a well kept room with a mini-fridge and a TV. There is a nice pool area and outdoor picnic tables. It was pretty quiet--aside from a neighbor passing by the room, we didn't hear much noise from outside. In terms of getting to the beaches and local attractions, the location is perfect--Cape May and Wildwood are both within 15 minutes' drive from this motel. There is a Chipotle and an Indian restaurant within walking distance, and a supermarket across the street.

Check in was easy and convenient, upon entering the room we realized it was fairly small but, y’know hotel rooms are to sleep and pass time until you get to your amusement or dinner affairs. The beds were simple. I would recommend bringing personal pillows as they only give 2 pillows per bed. The pool was nice and the pool area was clean. Bathroom was clean also ! Every employee was so kind. The rest of these reviews are basically people who are unhappy with every aspect of life honestly. I would come back for sure !

First room smelled like smoke, which facility is supposed to be all nonsmoking. Bedding was dirty, mold on bathroom ceilings, a stain on wall that looked like blood splatter, light fixtures filled with rust. Moved to a different room, room was OK but not the best. One of the towels on rack as "clean" was indeed not clean. There were stains on it that smelled awful. Both rooms had no fitted sheets just sheets laid over the mattress. Both rooms had blunt excess under mattresses and other things like hairs and what not. Staff not very attentive or seemed to care.

General cleanliness could be improved in the lobby where we checked in and the room itself. We were in a smoke free room but the smell said otherwise. The fridge/freezer had some residual crumbs/dirt and surfaces could've been wiped down better. We stayed only for a night and the decision was more focused on the economical side.

Overall it was an ok stay. The few reasons we didn't give it a better rating was because the room was a little cramped, the shower was terrible, the window curtain was insufficient, and the check out time was too early. So, the shower started out cold and by the end of it, it only got up to BARELY luke warm, and with the size of the room, we did have a king size bed but the room was still on the small side. Now with the curtain, it did not completely block out all the light, the light was still coming in from the top and one side so it made it harder for us to get to sleep. Lastly, the 10am check out time was super early to us, we've never stayed at a hotel with a check out earlier than 11am, so that was a little disappointing.

My recent stay at the Red Roof Inn was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The service was terrible—staff were overbearing and seemed more focused on billing us than providing a good guest experience. We even received an unsolicited wake-up call at 8:30 AM because the front desk was worried about extending our stay and charging our credit card. When we decided to stay an additional night, they charged us a $22.50 fee per room just for a late checkout at 12 PM, which felt unreasonable and unnecessary. On top of the bad service, the hotel’s cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The rooms felt poorly maintained, with noticeable dirt and grime. It was clear that proper cleaning wasn’t a priority, and this only added to the discomfort of our stay. Between the lack of cleanliness and the unprofessional service, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not be staying at Red Roof Inn again.

Everything was good, clean, and well taken care of but we were packing bags and changing right before we left and mid change, the front desk lady used her own key to unlock our door without knocking to let us know we we’re supposed to check out at 10 AM and it was 10:01 am, not exaggerating. Invasive and extremely disrespectful as my fiancé and I were both changing. We then walked out and were fully checked out by 10:03.

Ok for the price, you could see streaks on the stainless faucet, bathroom door handle was sticky. All other surfaces and floors seemed ok. You can’t turn left out of the lot. When arriving from the GSP you must go past motel turn n. around at ShopRite to be on the right side of the street to enter. Boardwalk is a 5 minute drive.

It’s not the owners fault but you are basically staying next to a drag strip where the last light on 47 East is right before the hotel so people just rev their engines all night. Rio Grande is obviously not a resort town but no cleaning for a two night stay, towels not replaced. Sink broken. TV was good and cable package, good coffee in the lobby, very friendly staff.

The location of the hotel was convenient drive to the Wildwood Convention Center on which I was visiting for the Annual Firefighters Convention. My room was actually more spacious than I expected. It was clean and the air conditioning was fine then what I’ve read in reviews. I had no issues during my stay. It served its purpose and I’d stay again.

We chose this place for it's proximity to the beach with better pricing. We paid half what we would have on the island. That being said, this motel was fine. It was clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff was attentive. Requests were quickly fulfilled. And the coffee in the lobby was pretty good.

It was closed to Cape May Coast Guard Recruting Center. The price was accordingly to the property. Check in was very easy, check out as well. Loved the Diner Restaurant closed by, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff, nice hot water.
