Pros: Prime location - easy walk to boardwalk/beach, at the south end of the more active zone of the boardwalk. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Family Dollar is a short walk from the hotel. Pool access at their sister property the a Coastal Sands, a short walk from the hotel. Great shower in the bathroom! Kitchen with decent size fridge, microwave, stove burners. Kitchen sink. Cons: No elevator to upper floors. Ice machine was broken. No pool on property, have to walk to sister property. Parking is TIGHT, cars are piggybacked and if your car blocks another car you must leave keys at front desk so they can move it, and front desk is not 24 hours, so if they have your keys you can't use your vehicle between 12 and 6 AM unless you bring a 2nd set, and if you're blocked in you're SOL and you'll need to call an Uber. The rooms are fairly small, our bathroom was tiny but had a great shower! Also bring plenty of extension cords and power strips for your electronics as outlets are sparse and weirdly located. Bottom line: there are some quirks, but the location is great, the rooms are adequately clean, beds are comfortable, AC works great, was good for a short stay. And the front desk staff was excellent.

Check-in process was easy and staff were friendly. The only thing that was an inconvenience was the parking situation. The parking spaces are set up as double parking so there is one car parked in back on the other in the lot. If your car is the second car ( blocking the first car in the lot) you have to leave your car keys in the front office in case they need to move it. Luckily we didnt need to use the car too often during our stay. The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the boardwalk and convention center. There is a bike rental place close by and many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is what you expect from a wildwood motel. Nothing fancy but was clean and had a fridge and microwave. I would stay there again because of the location and nice staff.

There is limited amount of parking. NO PETS are allowed but the people next to us had a dog barking all night and little kids screaming. Not sound prof walls.

Over all this hotel is great the only problem we ran into was that our refrigerator was broken the day we got there but they fixed it right away so I’m very appreciative of that. Also the room was a little smaller than we thought but was still spacious. Also parking is definitely something different. If you are blocking a car in you have to give your key to the front desk so they can move your car if needed. Now I was very hesitant at first about this but the guy at the front desk was young and very friendly so after two days I felt comfortable leaving my keys with him I did make sure to lock up anything I needed to and or bring it in the room if need to. I did feel bad bothering the working when needing my keys to get in my car but it is his job so I know there was no problem. Once again the receptionist was extremely nice and very friendly and understanding and made the stay at the hotel very comfortable. If and or when I’m to go back to wildwood I would definitely stay here again.

I found it odd the office called me 2 separate times during the day of traveling to Wildwood for my mom's memorial service to ask what time I would be checking in. It later made sense as to why. When we arrived, we checked into the two rooms, got our room keys and parking passes. Upon entering the one room, we found old moldy food in the refrigerator, blood in the bath tub, throw up on the toilet and dirty sheets on the bed! The other room had a dirty washcloth in between the beds on the floor and the room was an ice box!! Mind you it's cold there, it's winter and the AC was set at 60 some degrees. I used a chair to get up to switch it to heat and noticed the entire area where the air blows from was covered black with mold! Which I am highly allergic!! And no comforters on the bed, sheets only. We went to the office to complain but the office was now closed, hence why he was calling to see what time I would be checking in, so he could leave. Needless to say we had to go find another hotel, which was perfect and went to hand in the keys etc the next day and explained why we couldn't stay there. No apology and no refund of any kind when I asked and when Expedia contacted them. I wouldn't have kept my dog there! And I had family with me from Indiana and Florida... horrible experience to say the least!

Shower handle extremely loose and fell off on 2nd day of stay, shower curtain covered in residue and mildew, no hot water bathroom sink, floors in entire room were not cleaned or swept, microwave and refrigerator disgusting, no closet or place to hang anything, the table lamp shade stained and base caked with dirt, dead bugs on window sill … overall it’s evident the rooms are not cleaned between guests besides a couple clean towels which are very small and thin with a change of clean sheets (hopefully). Parking limited with high probability of being parked in by other vehicles. Location is the only positive this hotel offers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We were there for a special event at the convention center and we would have checked out upon arrival if other hotels weren’t booked.

The first thing I noticed were the stains on the blanket that was in the room. The I noticed one roach, I killed it. Then I saw the others. The room with roach infested. The manager was kind but not helpful. He said he didn’t have another room. He did not come look. He told me to text a photo to him. I ask for a refund and he said that he doesn’t do that part. Not cool. I had to call the other hotel that I had previously booked so that I could sleep in peace. The place was nasty. And now I question the ratings that Expedia uses for the hotels that they promote.

The staff was kind. The bathroom had leftover hair everywhere, the fridge had a brown coating and the room smelled terrible. We would have appreciated being told how to operate the heat so we didn’t freeze day 1. The grounds were really gross…mattresses, trash, beer bottles etc. Luckily the dollar store around the corner sold cleaning supplies.

It was perfect for what we needed. It was better than we thought we were getting, when we saw the price. Smart TV, Fridge, WiFi, across the street from the boardwalk. What more can you want in a very cheap hotel.

Easy, basic beach hotel. Very clean, staff was very nice. Parking is terrifying (piggyback parking under the building, tiny spaces), but that’s most places in Wildwood. Tiny room but good enough for an overnight at the boardwalk.

Our room was clean, updated, and included a kitchenette. The AC worked perfectly, and we enjoyed eating out on our deck. Parking is a little tight but it’s free!

Location is excellent, the desk staff was very nice, the bathrooms are nicely remodeled. A great place to sleep after a long fun day on the beach and boardwalk.

Our stay was okay, the hotel was quiet. Our room however was supposed to have 2 queen beds and it had 2 full beds. I don’t think every “standard room” was this way, we were just a little unlucky. Although the room he’d been freshly “cleaned,” the floors were dirty and did not seem like they had been cleaned at all.

The rooms are very small.. and looked different online when booking but other then that everything else was fine , my son even left a tablet behind and they called immediately after we left to return it Thank you for the stay ! Costumer service was great

The property can certainly use some updates but was sufficient for our needs. Abdul at the front desk is exceptional and truly cares about the people staying there. He made daily walks around asking everyone how they were doing and if they needed anything when he saw them out.

We ran out of toilet paper and went down stairs to ask for it and they said they will bring it up to us and never did. Plus we told them the tv was not working and they were going to send someone up and never did l.

I found it odd the office called me 2 separate times during the day of traveling to Wildwood for my mom's memorial service to ask what time I would be checking in. It later made sense as to why. When we arrived, we checked into the two rooms, got our room keys and parking passes. Upon entering the one room, we found old moldy food in the refrigerator, blood in the bath tub, throw up on the toilet and dirty sheets on the bed! The other room had a dirty washcloth in between the beds on the floor and the room was an ice box!! Mind you it's cold there, it's winter and the AC was set at 60 some degrees. I used a chair to get up to switch it to heat and noticed the entire area where the air blows from was covered black with mold! Which I am highly allergic!! And no comforters on the bed, sheets only. We went to the office to complain but the office was now closed, hence why he was calling to see what time I would be checking in, so he could leave. Needless to say we had to go find another hotel, which was perfect and went to hand in the keys etc the next day and explained why we couldn't stay there. No apology and no refund of any kind when I asked and when Expedia contacted them. I wouldn't have kept my dog there! And I had family with me from Indiana and Florida... horrible experience to say the least!

The parking spaces are set up as double parking so there is one car parked in back on the other in the lot. If your car is the second car ( blocking the first car in the lot) you have to leave your car keys in the front office in case they need to move it. Luckily we didnt need to use the car too often during our stay. The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the boardwalk and convention center. There is a bike rental place close by and many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is what you expect from a wildwood motel. Nothing fancy but was clean and had a fridge and microwave. I would stay there again because of the location and nice staff.

Arrived 2 hours prior to check in and was allowed to check in early thanks to the front desk person Avi. Room was nice and clean, very convenient location for the boardwalk and the beach. Parking it’s a little complicated specially if you have a large vehicle like me because the spaces are kind of tight. Other than that, I will definitely visit this hotel again.

When I went to check in at the Sunset Beach hotel I was told my reservation was not for 7/29/25. I showed them my confirmation from Expedia & they said that on their computer Expedia gave them 7/30/25 as my check in day which was the next day. Then they went on to tell me they had no rooms available. They said Expedia messed up my reservation and I’d have to deal with them. I was very upset because I drove over 2 hours for an event at the convention center which was right across the street from this hotel. They offered me a room at another hotel they were affiliated with a few blocks away. Because I had no other choice I had to accept this room but was very disappointed. As I was checking at this new hotel Coastal Sands Inn. Upon leaving the office after checking I also tripped on a rug on the ground and fell to the concrete causing cuts on both knees. The front desk person offered no help. This overall trip was very disappointing.

Over all this hotel is great the only problem we ran into was that our refrigerator was broken the day we got there but they fixed it right away so I’m very appreciative of that. Also the room was a little smaller than we thought but was still spacious. Also parking is definitely something different. If you are blocking a car in you have to give your key to the front desk so they can move your car if needed. Now I was very hesitant at first about this but the guy at the front desk was young and very friendly so after two days I felt comfortable leaving my keys with him I did make sure to lock up anything I needed to and or bring it in the room if need to. I did feel bad bothering the working when needing my keys to get in my car but it is his job so I know there was no problem. Once again the receptionist was extremely nice and very friendly and understanding and made the stay at the hotel very comfortable. If and or when I’m to go back to wildwood I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Prime location - easy walk to boardwalk/beach, at the south end of the more active zone of the boardwalk. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Family Dollar is a short walk from the hotel. Pool access at their sister property the a Coastal Sands, a short walk from the hotel. Great shower in the bathroom! Kitchen with decent size fridge, microwave, stove burners. Kitchen sink. Cons: No elevator to upper floors. Ice machine was broken. No pool on property, have to walk to sister property. Parking is TIGHT, cars are piggybacked and if your car blocks another car you must leave keys at front desk so they can move it, and front desk is not 24 hours, so if they have your keys you can't use your vehicle between 12 and 6 AM unless you bring a 2nd set, and if you're blocked in you're SOL and you'll need to call an Uber. The rooms are fairly small, our bathroom was tiny but had a great shower! Also bring plenty of extension cords and power strips for your electronics as outlets are sparse and weirdly located. Bottom line: there are some quirks, but the location is great, the rooms are adequately clean, beds are comfortable, AC works great, was good for a short stay. And the front desk staff was excellent.

Definitely recommend and staying again next Summer. The location is perfect, across the street from the start of the boardwalk, big parking lot across the street for visitors. If you're on the third floor you get views on the boardwalk, rides, and ocean. Nicely renovated. Staff super nice, room windows large and balconies with chairs. Great stay

It was clean and had everything we needed to stay a couple nights. A block from the boardwalk so we could walk to the beach and not have to pay for parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is what you would expect .When Wildwood isnt crowded this is $125 a night and when there isnt a lot of vacancy $225 a night . The room is small but clean and only one block from the beach . Staff was excellent !

The hotel was a good beachside stay hotel. It wasnt fancy, but it worked for our short stay for a cheerleading event. The TV volume didn't work and there weren't any amenities, but I assumed that for a beachside stay.

I was there with my family for three days July 28-30. The hotel is vary close to the boardwalk, friendly, respectful, and hard working staff. The hotel is clean. Quiet area, close to stores like family Dallas, atm of different banks like bank of america, food restaurants. And easy parking. And the money is good too. The only thing i want them to add to their service is food if possible but you can easily walk to any food restaurant you want within one to five minutes on the board walk. This hotel is recommended by me.

The staff was kind. The bathroom had leftover hair everywhere, the fridge had a brown coating and the room smelled terrible. We would have appreciated being told how to operate the heat so we didn’t freeze day 1. The grounds were really gross…mattresses, trash, beer bottles etc. Luckily the dollar store around the corner sold cleaning supplies.

Shower handle extremely loose and fell off on 2nd day of stay, shower curtain covered in residue and mildew, no hot water bathroom sink, floors in entire room were not cleaned or swept, microwave and refrigerator disgusting, no closet or place to hang anything, the table lamp shade stained and base caked with dirt, dead bugs on window sill … overall it’s evident the rooms are not cleaned between guests besides a couple clean towels which are very small and thin with a change of clean sheets (hopefully). Parking limited with high probability of being parked in by other vehicles. Location is the only positive this hotel offers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We were there for a special event at the convention center and we would have checked out upon arrival if other hotels weren’t booked.
