Didn’t like this place at all, everything was substandard. The customer service was excellent though. Looked dated even though there were a few newer pieces added to the room. If you are going in the summer and want a swim, the pool is joke, looks like it could fit about 3 people. The suite we had was structured in a way that viewing the only TV from the sofa was next to impossible. The elevator sounded like it would give out at any moment. Breakfast was adequate. The price we paid for 2 nights was ridiculous for the quality of the hotel. Must be the area because the other 2 1/2 hotels in the area came in at the same price point.

I travel extensively around the world and this was by far the worst Holiday Inn Express that I stayed in ever. The cleaning staff only made up one bed and never came back to finish cleaning the room. The elevator stopped working the second night and often the front desk staff was of zero assistance. I'm seriously considering eliminating this chain altogether and have already taken the decision to switch hotels from the Holiday Inn Express in Shanghai in two weeks

I chose ihg holiday inn express and suites because it was 5 min close to where I needed to be in the next morning. I also chose it because the reviews looked decent and it was overall a clean hotel. the hotel needs an ac system or maybe that morning it wasn’t working but The elevator was way too hot for me and the hallways but other than that everything was good. One of the pillows did have someone else blood on it when I arrived. I put it to the side also the room did lack towels. I’m not sure why but only two were in the bathroom. I needed at least 3 more. Housekeepers make mistakes so I’m willing to look beyond it but it was a stay for one night and I would be back again despite the small stuff.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable room. Continental breakfast was not great. Walking to the cute downtown of Brentwood was easy. From Starbucks we were able to walk the neighborhood streets to town.

Our room was nice and roomy, however, the handle on the restroom door was broken on the inside, and there were spiderwebs on the side of the window frame. There was also a spider in our bathtub. The property was fine. On Monday afternoon i had informed staff we would be leaving a day early. Someone on staff thought we left that day and at midnight entered our room with key. This scared my daughter and and i so much. We called security and they said "oh we thought you left." I feel we should bd compensated for this since we couldnt sleep after that. Agnes Stippey

The food was better than expected. The location is in the middle of a dead zone. Not a place to eat in a mile radius. I paid less to stay at a 3 times better HIE in Manila the week before. My main beef is with the night front desk employee that didn't do anything to curtail a 5-6 person party at 2-3 am one floor directly above them. It shouldn't be too much to expect when paying $200 for a room in a dead zone.

Property is fairly new. Clean and good access to freeway. Close to agricultural area. For a newer place, shower can be a little better. 230 dollars for a night is a little expensive but overall it was a great stay.

Location is easy to find and close to many shopping centers so there are coffee, food, gas and grocery store options nearby. Coffee and tea and hot water available for free 24/7. Non pork meat option at breakfast was greatly appreciated but extremely dry and hard. Staff is great. Dove products are provided in the room. Basics that I didn’t have at more expensive rooms (ex. Microwave, fridge, a place to purchase snacks late at night) in Monterey I had here, so I was very happy! Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was excellent however the breakfast was poor the pancake machine was not working and they weee always out of something. It took forever for turkey sausage to come. When they came they were out of eggs one small carton of milk left for cereal. Things were not replenished in a timely manner. I think it was to much for one employee. I chose the hotel because it included a free breakfast and that wasn’t fulfilled. I arrived for breakfast around 8am

Top sheet on bed was dirty. Stain. Bed itself needed to be replaced, old and had a spot where the bed was worn out and actually had a dent in it. No hot water when taking a shower. Let staff know! I refer many people here from an event center and have stayed here as well! Very disappointed and at over $200 a night after taxes and fees. They do have a pretty good free breakfast though!
