Property was dirty and gross. Pool was “closed” and had a “closed” sign because their cleaner broke and said they had to have that sign up but people were free to use it at their own risk. I saw a dead cockroach by the pool. Will not ever stay here again or recommend it. Gross!

The hotel was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. The only negative thing was, on Saturday morning at 5:00 a.m. the fire/smoke detectors started going off and kept going off for a while. It happened again Sunday, it was later (approximately 8:00 am). My understanding is it was something from the kitchen. Other than that our stay was excellent. I would stay there again.

We had a nice room. Bed was comfortable and like the set up of the room. Carpet needs pulled up it was older with stains. Front area where you sit outside with fire pit looked rough. Cushions missing and not kepted up. Would not have been able to sit out there. We would stay again.

This location wasn't as nice as some of the other Home2's I've stayed in. It didn't have smart TV's and the rooms had a "refurbished lower-end hotel" vibe. I love the Home2 gyms, they are real nice. One thing i wish Home2 would improve is their breakfasts. The breakfast is a pre-packaged type of meal with very few protein options. Overall, i really like Home 2 though

We were very disappointed in our stay, due to cleanliness of the hotel. The sheets would not stay in the bed, I had to keep getting up to put them back on thru the night. The pull out couch was very dirty. There was a dog ball under the bed, dog food in the floor. The corners of the dresser had food and the dust was so thick. The furniture and lampshades were dirty. Dog poop on the baseboard. And look at the shower railing... unsanitary! I'm not sure the elevator floor was ever cleaned. I always pay more for the best and this was such a disappointment. Almost $200 and bot worth it at all. Breakfast was a joke. They had NO juice as they had been waiting on their truck for some time. Only fruit was old bananas, The person working the breakfast section was very nice.

Very disappointed in my stay at the Hilton Suites. I was there for 5 days. My room was only cleaned once. I had to go downstairs for clean towels and coffee. Bathroom door didn’t close. Had an abundance of dirty towels that no one picked up. Hilton has such a great reputation and this was the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at!

I was not impressed with this location, it was very dirty on the 3rd floor, smelled like dog poop in the halls, our room was not the cleanest, room service had no extra pillows. Breakfast was ok, but compared to other Home2suites weve stayed at, it definitely left you wanting more.

The room was filthy, the ceiling fan had caked up dirt on it, there was mold on the ceiling, the bed post was broken and you could clearly tell it had been broken for a while, the property is skating by on its name, and the fact that it used to be a premier destination. I checked out early and they would not give me a credit for the unused nights, don’t stay here

The rooms could definitely use a face lift. We had mold growing on the ceiling of our room and the areas around the ac units were soaking wet. Over all the room was clean and comfortable though. The staff was AMAZING and so friendly! The breakfast sandwiches were pretty good!

When we arrived there was a large bag of trash in the hallway. The next morning the trash was still there. We found mold in the ice bucket and holes in the sheets. The dishwasher was dirty. The breakfast was extremely limited and nobody was attending to it.

It took 3 times of back and forth to the front desk to finally get the room we booked. By the time we finally got the correct style room we noticed that it was covered in long white dog hair, by this time we were so tired of going back and forth to the front desk that we just decided to deal with it. We had to be up and back on the road at 3:30am so we really just wanted to sleep, that wasnt possible. The fitted sheet was too small for the mattress and kept popping off and the upstairs guest decided to move furniture around all night long. This was honestly the worst stay I've ever experienced.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. I expected the room to be cleaned, refreshed, dirty towels taken out, and garbage removed while out running errands. This was not the case. The front desk told me we were expected to let them know if we wanted the room clean. In addition, she did not even offer to clean the room or take out the dirty towels after the fact. Extremely disappointed by this experience. This is not the tyoe of stay I expect from this hotel chain. I will look elsewhere next time when visiting Decatur, Alabama. At least the Red Roof Inn ckeans their rooms!

It took 3 times of back and forth to the front desk to finally get the room we booked. By the time we finally got the correct style room we noticed that it was covered in long white dog hair, by this time we were so tired of going back and forth to the front desk that we just decided to deal with it. We had to be up and back on the road at 3:30am so we really just wanted to sleep, that wasnt possible. The fitted sheet was too small for the mattress and kept popping off and the upstairs guest decided to move furniture around all night long. This was honestly the worst stay I've ever experienced.

The Staff for the Evening of Saturday, May 23rd went above and beyond! I had 3 teen boys wit me. I thought they would get all my bags, as it was pouring down rain and I was moving my vehicle under the portico. When they loaded I was being drenched by the rain, and didn't go back inside to verify all the bags were picked up. Fortunately at 2pm, came on Duty. She saw the bag and found my phone number. She called and let me know that my bag had been found in the lounge of the Lobby. A friend was still in the area and retrieved the bag for me. I am ever so grateful! My LAPTOP was inside this bag. The only thing of value. Everything was just like I had packed it.

Called 1 week ahead to arrange for late check out on my last day. They said no problem. Then on my last day they not only didn't honor the late check out, the cleaning crew kicked me out of my room - no apologies, nothing. Won't be staying her again.

Not what i was expecting for my 397$ usually stay at the doubletree, which was booked unfortunately.. Would not stay here again, furniture and upholstery kind of gross an stained up pretty bad, breakfast not even close to what hilton usually has to offer, but mainly due to the overwhelming septic smell outside and inside the hotel

1st, I felt like because I booked on Expedia and got discounted rate, I also got a discounted room. I was given a room that nobody probably ever stayed in. It least thats how it felt. It was very dusty and full of cobwebs so it felt dirty. Even though this is a waterftont hotel, this property is also near waste sanitation plant. So, the hotel can smell like poop at any given moment. It's not the hotels fault but guests aren't at fault either. Hotel should give/comp guests on those days when that smell is on steroids. Imagine checking in a hotel that smells like poop and everyone working there acting as if the smell is all in your mind. Shame on hotel for trying to act as if there was nothing wrong with that smell.

From check in to check out EVERY staff member I came across was very friendly and pleasant. The location was great for the downtown event I attended. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. I saw several guests and the parking lot had many cars, but once in the room I didn't hear anything. The room had plenty of space and was comfortable, as well.

The smell of sewage odor / methane gas was so bad upon checkin. Bad enough we got headaches and was burning our eyes. Called the fire department to check the odor / gas levels. Was told that’s normal for the area with the water treatment plant next door. Requested a refund no word on that yet. Then the auto texts from the hotel asking how things were text me again at 6am. We had a terrible experience last night. To be fair this morning there was zero odor.

The staff was great. The room was ok. The bathroom is tiny. The biggest problem was the horrible sewer smell. We were told it was from the water reclamation plant next to the hotel. Unfortunately, we came in late and did not want to try to find another room. Otherwise, we would not have stayed at all. Be very wary of this one!

The room had a kitchenette, which was nice, but unnecessary for a one night stay. Breakfast was sub-par. Hot food was not fresh cooked, but rather a film-covered microwaveable meal. No biscuits, potatoes, gravy, and no juice machine as one has become accustomed to at other Hilton locations.

We enjoyed our stay greatly! Probably the highlight of our stay was “Breakfast with Ms.Caroline.” We were in town for softball and she went out of her way for both my sweet little grandbabies. Would recommend the hotel for sure but absolutely visit Ms.Caroline for breakfast prior to your checkout!
