Hotel Aston Plaza Kansai Airport

This is not an airport hotel.It’s quite far from KIX.Useful features are the free airport bus and included mainly Japanese breakfast.They also have Japanese bath facilities.At best this is a regional 2 star hotel.It is a poor choice for foreigners who don’t speak Japanese.The price they ask for rooms is not justified.Poor quality mattresses,a single pillow.No complementary water.Stained carpets.Dirt marks and scuffs on walls.Honestly,I was surprised that this was a Japanese establishment. No stars for this hotel. Not recommended.

It was very convenient. The post office was close to the hotel. My favorite restaurant was also waking distance.

Easy access from the airport

I asked the reception to print my boarding pass, she said they don't do that..... wow Japan? has no printers??? seems incredible to me. Any other country in the world, they gladly print your boarding pass for free.

This older hotel is located in an industrial zone/working class area still about 4 miles from Kansai airport - not very convenient therefore - the breakfast was modest but tolerable - the airport shuttle was limited in terms of availability - check your flight times therefore - I had to leave the hotel at 10:30am for a 5:00 flight since that was the last shuttle - I would not stay here again - there are much better & newer options closer to the airport at the same price
