Nice hotel in great area - boardwalk and costal walk within a short distance, same with downtown core, lots of dining options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and well looked after.

The hotel has been well used and is in need of some updating e.g. bathroom needs a proper exhaust and the sliding door lock on the balcony was broken. Unusual that the room safe required a deposit to use (€20 cash) and even pool towels would not be provided without another cash deposit. Even the a/c remote was only available ‘on request’ (probably with another deposit). Staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel is located in the quieter part of town which is good. Pool area could use some shade and the water in the pool was very cold.

Great hotel. Super convenient location. Steps from restaurants and shopping and a very short walk to Algar Seco and Carvoeiro Beach. Pool was beautiful and a great option to swim as beach was covered in seaweed. Room was clean and hotel was in a safe area.

Honestly our favorite hotel of our honeymoon! They have an excellent location, on-site parking and is walking distance to everything you need. Staff were friendly, breakfast is amazing and the pool (with bar) was to die for. Would love the opportunity to stay here again!

We really liked the breakfast buffet and the spa/pool facilities. Parking was very handy as there are few hotels in the area that offer free parking. The rooms themselves and bathrooms slightly dated but still very comfortable. We had expensive road bikes with us and although they allowed us to keep them in the suitcase storage room, we didnt feel very safe storing them there as the room was left open all day and we were denied the option of storing them on the very spacious balcony. Understandable but something to keep in mind if you are bringing bikes with you.

We celebrated our 35th wedding day, nice hotel a bit old but we appreciated mostly the pool area, balcony view and furniture style. Also great location close to Carvoeiro and walking distance.

The hotel overall is fine. However, there are definitely many aspects that need improvement. To begin with, the way we were received was quite the opposite of feeling welcomed. We were given a room on the first floor and I asked for the possibility of a higher floor but I was told the hotel was fully booked, which we understood. We gave our deposit for the pool towels and were told they would not be changed daily even if we needed clean ones. We were informed that the sauna wasnt working. Then we went to our room and one bed would crack very loudly as soon as we sat on it and with any slight movement. We reported this issue right away and instead of getting an apology, the reply I got was they were not going to offer me a room on a higher floor, which was completely unrelated to what I just said. I repeated the issue was actually the bed. She said she would give me a room on ground floor. The room at the ground floor was gloomy, dark, and the bathroom was older compared to the previous room. But at least the bed didnt crack. We felt at a 3-star hotel instead of a 4-star hotel. Moreover, although we stayed 5 days and 4 nights, only once our bathroom towels were changed and our trash was emptied. The negative impression changed thanks to the breakfast, which offers a great variety of fruits, breads, cheeses, and all that needed to have an English breakfast. The service is friendly and in general quite good. The rest of our stay improved because everyone else was nice.

Very good location near lot of restaurants and the beach . Lovely outdoor pool and very clean inside . My room was very clean and comfortable pillows .Thehotel is on hill but very short walk down to the beach and places to eat. Pleasant nice staff ☺️ I didn't want to mention but indoor pool had cockroaches ..crawling on walls of the pool but only because it's natural from the garden I think. Outdoor pool has nice snack bar and cocktail and drinks . My room was nice but the walls are thin and can hear toilet flushing people moving furniture. I would recommend the hotel because it's very nice with good outdoor poor and good location near to everything ☺️👍👍👍 I would recommend

Staff is horrible and rude, we were there for 4 nights and they never changed the sheets or towels even when we asked them to. In fact they lied to us and made snobby comments. The shower head was broken and the sheets had blood on them. But it’s a good location and walking distance to everything

The reception, bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Helpful and friendly. The hotel room looks tired and is in need of updating. Pool area is excellent with good bar service and facilities. Nothing in the mini bar, no free water as experienced in other hotels in the region. Mini safe was inoperable with the lock removed and the room cleaning consisted of making the bed, with no replenishment of soap, no clean towels or removing used glasses.

This Property is the cleanest one we have seen... And we have seen alot.. Perfect location. Close to all amenities... Hotel rooms are small especially bathrooms.. they do need to refurbish bathrooms.. take out bathtubs and bidets and make more room.. Other than that Great!!

Nice renovated room with comfy bed and a/c. Great breakfast buffet. Beautiful pool. Everything is clean and modern and well kept! Staff were welcoming and gracious. Will stay here again.

Das Hotel kann ich überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Nur die Lage ist in Ordnung. Es ist extrem laut, von morgens bis abends werden Türen lautstark zugeknallt. Die Zimmer sind schmutzig und werden nicht richtig gereinigt nur sehr oberflächlich, der Boden war permanent dreckig. Frühstück sehr begrenzt. Wir haben nahezu eine Chlor Vergiftung gehabt, im Bad haben ständig unsere Augen gebrannt, wir konnten nicht atmen und haben extreme Halsschmerzen und mussten die ganze Zeit husten. Es war wirklich ekelhaft und nicht zumutbar! Das Personal war auch in Ordnung. Für den Safe muss man 40€ extra zahlen, für die Handtücher auch 20€ pro Person. Parkplätze sind überfüllt, Abends bekommt man keinen Parkplatz mehr! Sehr nervig. 2 Sterne sind noch sehr nett, aber nur wegen der Lage. Restaurants, Strand und Supermarkt in der Nähe.

Hotel anticuado, habitación pequeña, a/a no funcionaba, asa/pestillo al balcón medio roto. Desayuno bien, parking bien, personal muy amable y atento. Cerca de restaurantes y bares.

Walls are VERY thin! An afternoon nap / sleeping in was impossible because all will hear is chairs being dragged. Apparently this has to happen while housekeeping is cleaning rooms. I have never experienced this at any other hotel and was for the biggest downfall that I couldn’t get some extra rest in on my vacation. For those planning to be out of the room for most of the day this doesn’t present a problem. Breakfast option was honestly fantastic. Bathrooms were a bit outdated but aside from that Everything was clean. Food at pool is mediocre.

The most amazing breakfast of anywhere I have ever stayed, and I travel a lot. Spacious room with large outside balcony. Beautiful pool with outside bar. Private parking on property. Highly recommended!

After our five day stay, I am happy to share my experience because I see lots of value at this property. PRAISE ! Large rooms, roomy balconies ! Huge pool with tall palms ! Great location : beach and city center are 10 minutes walk away ! Best breakfast of the four hotels we stayed at while in Portugal ! Claudio gave us a tour upon our arrival; we felt very welcome. ! Romulus our breakfast waiter greeted us with a hearty "good morning!" every day. ! Also awesome were: The breakfast service manager and the chef whose sunny side up eggs were beautiful to see before they were found to be hot and delicious! Sounds like a great place right? Please read on... DISBELIEF ? Why wasn't there a real hairdryer in my bathroom? ? You want me to pay extra to use the safe in my room?! ? This one upset me because I didn't feel trusted: I had to walk to the front desk and leave a €20 deposit in order to have two towels to use at the pool! POTENTIAL This place has great potential but it feels like it's run by an accountant. Hang the accountant! Instead, hang a tapestry or two. Focus on finding the flourishes that surprise and endear patrons to your brand. All the best!

Very nice place to stay in Carvoeiro. Very nice big rooms with a balcony, although a bit dated. Perfect location. Close to the beach and shopping area, and it is surrounded by very good restaurants.

Nice property, great breakfast, great location, nice furniture in rooms. Didnt favor the outdated bathroom, very flat bed pillows, hair blow fryer, no hair conditioner, tissues, wash cloths, water in room nor coffee. Shower tub stall very tight with a plastic shower curtain. Water gushes so heavily couldnt keep the curtain off my body.

The location of the hotel was great! Right next to the beach and it was very clean. The rooms themselves are quite dated - AC doesn’t work well, and the overall look is old. The staff is ok but doesn’t go out of their way to help with anything - didn’t guide me to my room, help with my bags, offer me refreshments or any of the perks expected in a 4 star hotel.

Absoluut opvallend is hoe vriendelijk en behulpzaam het personeel is overal, maar zeker smorgens bij het ontbijt. Zo helpen ze heel spontaan oudere mensen die hulp nodig hebben. Proficiat daarvoor! Hier kom ik terug met veel plezier. Ideaal gelegen om de stad en Algarve te ontdekken in het algemeen.

Lobby modern and clean. Giselle???the guest service staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was wonderful but should be heated. Breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold food. Fresh fruit too!! Rooms need refurbishing but linen and toiletries were above average. Could use bottled water, coffee and tea in room or in lobby as breakfast isn't until 8a.m. We were required to pay the local tax when we checked in but when we checked out we were told it wasn't paid. The issue was eventually resolved so we didn’t have to pay it twice. Bad experience after we had enjoyed our stay up until then.

Good all round vacation, Couldn’t fault one bit Got there a day early and checked in and was able to stay in the same room, Reception first class

The hotel listing said a number of things that it did not have. Laundry facilities, we are on a month trip and planned ahead. Spoke to the manager & he just said, no Expedia just write anything, then started walking around the lobby shouting. There is also no “free daily managers reception” just as well given his behaviour !

Wonderful three night stay at this hotel! Friendly welcome at reception and we were shown around the main areas of the hotel. Breakfast was great, good selection of fresh and cooked food. It was a little walk down the hill to the main part of town where we found lots of nice restaurants & bars. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Great location

We enjoyed Mirachoro very much. Easy walk to the beach and surrounding Carvoeiro restaurants. Staff were very nice and helpful. Self-parking was easy and lots of space. Breakfast was terrific. The weather was a little cool and rainy to use the pool otherwise it was very inviting. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

Rooms were perfect quality, short 5 minute walk to the small town and beach. Nice quiet area

In mijn ogen geen 4* waardig; wel leuke locatie maar onvoldoende variëteit bij het ontbijt, zelfs geen koffie of water op de kamer bij aankomst; garcons die geen internationale cocktails kennen (zelfs een simpele Campari Orange moet men met hand & tand uitleggen) en héél traag werken aan de bar

Fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room (bathroom maybe due an upgrade).

Lovely spot in the heart of the town, excellent onsite facilities, attentive staff and a great breakfast buffet.

Fantastiskt frukost, smakar underbart. Ett väldigt bekväm hotell, med stort uteplats med pool och bar. Riktig fin läge, nära till allt, och samtidigt utanför bruset från stan. Gångavstånd till dyra restoranger, även centrum i byn. Tyvärr så hade dom inte öppet restaurang i hotellet för att servera middag. Väldigt trevliga personal i receptionen, mindre trevliga städerskor. En dag blev det live musik vid poolen, extra trevligt!
