I did enjoyed some good time for my short stay retreat at your property. Thank you very much for your well care of the beautiful room, thanks for the lovely dining time I had received in your Artisan Restaurant with the best quality of the food and excellent service from your team. Thanks for the best spa treatment in Delama Spa at your Hotel from Mr. Carl, I can feel how much he love his job through the service he did provide to me and he took very well care of me with well listening from my request to make sure it won't be a mistake, because the detox and wrapping treatment is always very sensitive if client feels uncomfortable, but he did very good job. Thank you for the warm welcoming from the front desk that made me feel I am home and you are alway be here to welcome me back. The Valet parking team are also excellent. Thanks again for all the beautiful service you had provied at the Hotel, it looks like they are always be there and ready for your love customer like me, who needs a really time for self care at your property to recharge the energy, and then be back to normal life for continue working with what we love, and continue sharing our love through whatever we can as a Richer of Love. It was great not having additional charges for valet services, staff was great, rooms very very nice. Only down side is pelaton did not work one morning becasue it was not logged in.

Just stayed at this beautiful establishment for the weekend. The staff was amazing, and very welcoming. We sat by the outdoor fireplace and were checked in on regularly. The restaurant was beautiful and attentive to your needs. The spa was an absolute delight. I left feeling so relaxed and cozy. The valet team was friendly and fast. There’s really no complaint I have. I will be back and hope to visit other Delamar locations soon.

This is a lovely, easy hotel. Valet parking and breakfast are included with the stay. The restaurant in the hotel has a lovely protected outdoor area and a garden, and the food is excellent. Our only (small) issue was that just after arrival in our room, a LOUD noise began, and when we tracked it down it was a maintenance person with a huge drill, who said he would be working for about an hour. Rather than change rooms, we tolerated it. Other than that experience, the hotel, room and restaurant are all highly recommended.

I have stayed here many times and never had any issues. Check in was great, room was beautiful and clean but the air conditioning did not work. By 1am the room had reached 78 degrees. Obviously was not calling for maintenance since my daughter was asleep. Checking out I told the front clerk and he informed me “some clients like it humid”. That was it, no manager, no explanation. Unlikely to return.

My wife and I loved the attention to detail that the staff gives you , very friendly and accomidating staff , only one thing that was unexpected was low water pressure in bathroom , hot water runs out quickly and no exhaust in bathrooms.

Extremely fancy. Gave true old fashioned customer service. Extremely well maintained. All staff is courteous. Valet is only parking option. We had an AMAZING room with a view of blue black Square and the city. Room 508. The beds were very comfortable and best sleep we've gotten. Best part, whole foods is right there so you can walk to it quickly for anything. Breakfast had many beautiful options. Would recommend providing eggs for those who cannot eat dairy. The eggs had heavy cream in them. Jesus our valet was SO SWEET!!!

I preface by saying I love the Delmar and have stayed several times over the years. This time I noticed an overall lack of polish from the staff during my check in especially- the kid doing the check in took a phone call during, didn’t make eye contact , didn’t say what my room number was just handed over a key. Could’ve been better and more hospitable . The bar staff was on a similar level, when we sat down to eat at 8am after a full day of travel, the bartender went out of his way to note they “only had 90 minutes left until the kitchen closed and “thank god” . The property is otherwise perfect and I always have a great stay, but the staff , in this case) took away from the experience with their lack of hospitality and polish.

It was a beautiful hotel. I will say the morning staff at the registration welcome desk, specifically Gretta, was not warm or friendly, very robotic, and never smiled, which really removes the whole inviting customer service appeal. The valets were awesome, especially Raymond, very personable. The breakfast was amazing, and I loved the outside dining experiences, especially in the morning. The other staff were also fabulous, room service turned down our beds, and they were both professional and personable. We had our 3-year-old granddaughter and invited her to use the toy box of toys outside, which brought her joy. Both my husband and I are professionals and entrepreneurs, for over 20+ years, I would just offer a personal suggestion might be to offer a cheese and cracker light happy hour for guests to unwind, with a little music or local entertainment which shows appreciation to the guest and a personal side of your incredibly beautiful ambiance and unique side of your hotel. I would also mention to both Gretta and the other associate that her professionalism is great but by greeting customers/guest with a friendly smile makes them feel at ease especially for us after almost a 7-hour drive to come and visit our son just a short block away. Verbal testimonials go a long way especially as we will be visiting again and again, making that guest feel appreciated also goes a long way. Property as a whole was great a d i’ve had a great stay here over valentines day- so this one night trip was a surprising let down. Front desk distracted at check in- wrote the wrong room number on card envelope so had to go back to desk to get keys; requested additional towels and they were sent to wrong room; breakfast staff RUDE BEYOND MEASURE in telling us to leave so they could set for brunch even though they WERE set for brunch and even put brunch items on our table as we sat there and cleaned glass with windex 15” from my head (i was having a conversation and tears in my eyes when the black woman that also works in the spa said i HAD TO LEAVE)- FYI- there was no one waiting for a brunch table; late check out of even 30 minutes denied even tho there was no way all rooms could be cleaned in that time frame - and we saw 4 people from our floor leaving before 10AM; never received VIP credit on this trip OR trip over valentine’s day. Valet staff lovely as was the wait staff from the night before our stay at Artisinal
Property as a whole was great a d i’ve had a great stay here over valentines day- so this one night trip was a surprising let down. Front desk distracted at check in- wrote the wrong room number on card envelope so had to go back to desk to get keys; requested additional towels and they were sent to wrong room; breakfast staff RUDE BEYOND MEASURE in telling us to leave so they could set for brunch even though they WERE set for brunch and even put brunch items on our table as we sat there and cleaned glass with windex 15” from my head (i was having a conversation and tears in my eyes when the black woman that also works in the spa said i HAD TO LEAVE)- FYI- there was no one waiting for a brunch table; late check out of even 30 minutes denied even tho there was no way all rooms could be cleaned in that time frame - and we saw 4 people from our floor leaving before 10AM; never received VIP credit on this trip OR trip over valentine’s day. Great spot, safe, clean, lots of amenities and staff was so helpful. They delivered on all of our requests with pleasure. The location is walking distance to great shopping, restaurant's and whole foods. Valet was fast and courteous, hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. I am in the customer service industry and in a world where it seems most people could use an etiquette course, this hotel has capable staff that exceeds my expectations . I would highly recommend this hotel for many reasons.

I did enjoyed some good time for my short stay retreat at your property. Thanks for the best spa treatment in Delama Spa at your Hotel from Mr. Carl, I can feel how much he love his job through the service he did provide to me and he took very well care of me with well listening from my request to make sure it won't be a mistake, because the detox and wrapping treatment is always very sensitive if client feels uncomfortable, but he did very good job. We stayed only one evening at Delamar, as we were passing through the area. All the employees were friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. Both the food and service at the Artisan (hotel restaurant) was very good. We walked around downtown West Hartford, after returning from an evening tour of the Mark Twain Museum and taking night photos of the Capitol. Downtown West Hartford was lit up for the holidays. The area was nice and clean with several stores, restaurants and one of the incredible murals of the MLK39 Racial Equity Mural Tour. The included buffet breakfast is setup in the bar area of the Artisan. There were hot and cold options, including some gluten-free ones. If we ever venture back to the Hartford area, I would choose the Delamar again.

If this hotel was a worldwide chain and added a pool I would only book this brand. The parking attendants are excellent and the room and breakfast are great. My dinner took a very long time at the restaurant I know it was busy but our long wait should have been acknowledged by a manager. The hotel is amazing it is a dog friendly hotel and I wonder why they need to be as you can hear dogs barking when you are in your room.

This hotel was excellent from the time we pulled up at the valet until we left 2 days later. I am an ice person and there is no ice machine, but they brought it up immediately when I called. Check in was seamless and the bar was awesome as well as the breakfast! Definitely would stay again. The little town Square that is right across from it was also very quaint. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Room beautiful. We arrived very late, so the turn down service was very welcoming and room felt cosy. Staff were nonchalant, not particularly welcoming. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, particularly as the reviews rate the breakfast. Pastries were slightly stale. On check out I was struggling with two cases and shouted at by the housekeeper as I entered a cordoned off area where the floor had been recently washed. As I walked around I heard her very loudly say “do they not read?!!!” It was right at the front of the check out desk. Overall the Delamar is a lovely hotel in a superb location if you are visiting West Hartford, but didn’t feel particularly special. Btw, the lady on reception was nice and helpful, unfortunately I forget her name.
