Shower wasn’t working due to broken diverter and tub wasn’t draining. These were issues that should have been checked before assigning the room. They couldn’t switch us to a different room but staff responded quickly and were able to fix it. Cooktop wasn’t powerful enough and took over 20 minutes to boil water so we couldn’t use it. Pool and pickleball courts were great.

This is a wonderful resort, extremely clean and any time I needed something it was done immediately. The only complaint that I have is that the pools were absolutely cold. They say it's heated but anyone who went in it said it was freezing. Especially with the cold snap in Florida; it should've been warmed accordingly. Also the main pool (The Lochness) was closed at 6 and a couple of days it closed down at 4 pm. Pools are a main source of entertainment and relaxation. Disappointed in the pool situation.

It was okay, we made the most of it. Check in starts at four, we didn’t get our room key until after 5pm. So, we just waited on site for over an hour. The main pool and hot tub didn’t work. Both heaters down. There were two other pools to choose from, smaller and worked. The main pool had an excellent bar, food service and staff. Really enjoyed the Saturday Yoga class.

The resort was very spread out, so it wasn't easily walkable to restaurants and facilities but there was a convenient shuttle service. The resort fee of $42/day seemed high. Pools were scattered throughout the resort but only one provided towels and other amenities. LOVED that there was a free laundry room on each floor in our buildings! Bring your own detergent, though. Packards restaurant was excellent, though pricey and very loud. Market Salamanders Grille was average. The furnishings were dated and needing an upgrade, but the bed was super comfortable. Loved having a balcony overlooking the Island Golf Course! The golf courses we played (Island and North) were disappointing- for the price we expected better conditions. I'm sure Copperhead was much better (and the fee was higher) but for over $300, the Island should've had nicer fairways, bunkers, etc. All in all, it was a good resort and we had a great time!

Great pool but closes at 6:00pm which didnt give the kids much time to enjoy. Rented a big room which obviously had planty of space. 2nd tv would have been nice. Shower ran out of hot water quickly.

It is a very old property, the rooms and carpets smell bad, it is not suitable for people with allergies. Check out is at 11am but at 10am they knocked on my door and came in, saying they had to change the lock, my wife was in the bathroom, they told us they would be back and they came back at 10:40, we decided to leave very disgusted with the place. They do not respect privacy and even more so when paying for the stay until 11 and they are in the rooms without waiting for the check-out time.

Dated room interior and bathrooms. Old unit style airconditionjng was very noisy and blows air in a way that makes it hard to sleep. Sheets and pillows bad quality (polyester not cotton or down, like other comparable hotels/ resorts). Definitely needs an upgrade.

The family LOVED the pool! Very family oriented and just what we were looking for. The food at Lochness pool was exceptional. The best quesadilla and macaroni and cheese we’ve ever eating. The drinks were top notch too. The room was great but we didn’t like that there is no mini fridge. We had to rent one.

Signage is terrible. We finally found the building to check in at and the person at the counter acted like we were an intrusion. She did not offer any information about the property or amenities. To answer questions we had she gave us a card...she didn\'t know the answers. The room was in bad need of remodeling...sculptured carpet that had a musty smell, mismatched furniture. The bathroom door stuck so bad it was extremely difficult to close or open. Their "complimentary" coffee service was a 4 cup coffee maker. Their "miniature golf course" was nothing more than a practice putting green. We never saw their tram service. The golf course was in terrible shape. The staff were not helpful. Their driving range was not accessible...an employee had to drive you to it while you carried a club or 2 (you couldn\'t take your golf bag. This was extremely disappointing experience that I would recommend no one else attempt to try.

We were pleasantly pleased with the resort & our reserved room (2 queen standard room). Once we unpacked we realized that the room safe wasn’t working. We called and security responded very quickly but the battery was dead and they weren’t sure when it could be replaced. I went back to the front desk and they were great, they moved us to another room (an upgrade to a two queen suite with a kitchen, living room, dining room & patio) ! I was not expecting that, but the room was great ! Lock Ness pool was fantastic and “Tom” was outstanding ! If you visit this resort… I highly recommend a local restaurant: Mystic Fish on Tampa Rd. (Less than 15 minutes away) is OUTSTANDING !!!

The resort and staff where amazing. The pool was awesome as my son loved every minute of it. The service the staff provided was truly amazing. This by far was one of the best places I have stayed as they were very reasonable on the price we paid and it was worth every cent.

Like staying in a beautiful park. It was too cold to swim this time, but enjoyed walking the grounds. Excellent breakfasts at the main lodge. Room was clean and spacious - King Suite. Bed was comfortable. Parking ample. Peaceful.

Wonderful property to be able to relax and enjoy the amenities, the scenery is nice and its very peaceful. Although the only problem i had was it is a little bit of a maze so make sure to get a map from guest services to make sure you dont get turned around!

The only thing that should be famous on this property is the Copperhead golf course. The rooms are old. The housekeeping was mediocre (did not clean the bathroom counter-just changed the towels. Did not leave new soap/body wash after 3 days). There were multiple dining options- however only one was open for dinner- and, of course, swamped. The personnel couldn't have been more personable. They were terrific. Would I return- never.

The unit where we stayed was really nice! The kitchen was very modern and had everything you needed! We were right on the golf course and the view was beautiful’ ! That particular pool was not the best, however if you’re looking for privacy then , look no further! I’d say the down side is as a vegetarian none of the restaurants had any options suitable for me and you can’t keep eating chips and guacamole, you get what I mean , overall it was a nice property

Very cool property if you are planning on playing golf for sure! Thought it was over priced (food, drinks, room) for what you got and on top of that resort banged me an extra $40 per night (on top of what I thought was fully paid through expedia) for zero extra service. I’d return to play golf, but if that wasn’t on my agenda, even tho the staff was very nice and room clean, I’d find somewhere else.

We did not stay here to play golf or tennis so I can't comment about that. This is a very big place with lots of big trees. The room was outdated, the bathroom is tiny. One of the bedside table lamps did not work and the water bottles were $3.00. There was maid service with extra towels but no extra shampoo/conditioner. It was very quiet. We ate at both restaurants, the food at the pub was very good but the cost for drinks at this resort is ridiculous. $19 to $20 per glass for a glass of average wine.
