Great hotel staff and room. Pool was weird. Gym was good. Convenient location. Preferred this hotel to fancier hotels that I stayed at. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Which made the stay comfortable. Rooftop restaurant had great views but food was overpriced and average.

perfekte Lage mit Anbindung an Metro und auch die Bahn welche zum Hafen fährt (je 2 min), Zimmergrösse völlig in Ordnung, das Bett war etwas zu weich für meinen Geschmack. Restaurant mit toller Aussicht, wir haben nur einmal dort gegessen und es war hervorragend, die Karte ist jedoch klein gehalten

An amazing stay surpassing expectations. At first I was a little sceptical since some reviews mentioned loud noise, especially as we were staying there on a Friday and Saturday night. However, the stay was fantastic. Staying in room 206, we were provided an early check in, full tour and a very dutiful explanation of the hotels offerings and recommendations of places to see and restaurants to visit. Eren went above and beyond with providing us with a list of great recommendations and showing us through the city map, highlighting his personal favourites away from the tourist traps. Greeting us each morning and saying hello on the street when we bumped into him when his shift finished, his hospitality was a real asset to the hotel. The rooms have everything you can think of, bottle of wine on arrival in the room, full complementary mini bar, all the amineties needed, loafers, shoe horn, polish, fantastic robes, slippers and a lot more. The rooms are decorated as you’d expect in a boutique hotel with a Soho House-esque feel and an unbelievably comfortable bed. We didn’t have any issues with noise with our room being at the back of the hotel, and for those wanting to explore different parts of the city, I’d thoroughly recommend. The rooftop bar had an international crowd with greats wines and cocktails and fantastic food partnered with great view and attentive service. For the price I don’t think you can beat it. Great hotel in a fantastic location.

Returning to the hotel and being able to relax in your quiet room was much appreciated after a long, noisy day in the streets of Istanbul. Having a quick refreshment in the small pool after training was also great, even though it's not suitable for actual swimming (too narrow), but still a nice touch. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Istanbul, as the surrounding neighborhood of Beyoglu is fantastic as well!

Great service and nice ambiance. Close to a lot of cool places in Galata and a short distance to Karakoy. Rooftop has an amazing view, drinks and delicious food. Their staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Súper bien situé, le funiculaire F2 et le métro sont juste à côté, la plus belle avenue d’Istanbul avec plein d’options de dîner et sorties est aussi juste à côté. L’hôtel est magnifique, la chambre est très confortable (mini bar et Nespresso à disposition gratuitement), elle n’est pas exposée au soleil car elle donne sur un mur décoré avec une très belle fresque, elle reste donc fraîche en été malgré la chaleur. Le restaurant Simone a une vue incroyable et on a adoré sa cuisine. Le personnel est juste adorable. Seul bémol, la piscine qui est trop étroite pour nager, c’est plutôt un élément décoratif. Nous retournerons dans cet hôtel.

Beyoglu ist meine Lieblingsstadt in Istanbul. Normalerweise besuche ich jedesmal ein anderes Hotel in der Nähe. Leider war dieses ausgebucht und ich bin auf Ruz Hotels gestoßen. Ich muss eins gestehen, jetzt bin ich froh darüber, denn Ruz ist aktuell mein Favorit. Das Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der berühmten Istiklal Straße. Die Gegend ist trotz angehäufter Tourismus sehr ruhig. Vom Hotel aus ist man in wenigen Sekunden an der Tünel Station, mit dem man in wenigen Minuten Karaköy (nahe Eminönü) erreichen kann. Taksim Metro Station kann man in ca. 10 min zu Fuß erreichen, oder man fährt mit dem historischen Tram mitten in der Istiklal Straße. Die Räume sind sehr luxuriös und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet worden. Man merkt, die Geschäftsführung legt sehr viel wert auf Details. Von der Leuchtschrift an der Wand mit einem tiefgründigen Spruch, bis hin auf das retro Radio im Zimmer. uvm. Das Restaurant und die Bar hatte zu meiner Zeit (März 2022) noch nicht geöffnet. War aber in der Endphase. Die Herzlichkeit und die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Hotels hat mich sogar dazu gebracht meinen Aufenthalt zu verlängern. Die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfebereitschafts des Hotelpersonals ist einfach erstklassig. Kein Wunsch ist ist unerfüllt geblieben. Mein größter Dank geht daher an das Personal dort, das spielt nämlich eine sehr große Rolle bei einem angenehmen Hotelaufenthalt. Wir sehen uns in kürzester Zeit wieder. <3 Liebe Grüße Esma

Hotel bien situé dans le centre historique même s'il faut prévoir toujours beaucoup de marche car il est situé sur la colline du quartier Galata . Hotel propre, joli design, service poli. Chambre nettoyée tous les jours. Plutôt bien isolé dans un point de vue acoustique. Matelas un peu trop mou pour moi. À éviter le petit déjeuner dans le rooftop : même si avec une jolie vue, j'ai du payer 42€ à moi tout seul pour deux oeufs, un peu de fromage, jus et thé. Une vrai arnaque. Pour le reste, plutôt positif

The rooms and lounge is so cosy! The hotel is in perfect condition and a great experience. The view from the terrace is excellent! We didn’t bother queuing to get up in Galata Tower because I think you are at about the same height at the terrace, just not full 360 degree view. Highly recommend!!

Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel. It is perfectly located in the heart of the bustling Beyoğlu district/neighborhood, close to the Galata tower, and also still centrally located for you to maneuver to other neighborhoods, ferry points, and sites. When you step into the hotel, it feels like a small oasis. The service is personable and helpful, while the rooms/space are clean and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, good service, nice to have the bar and restaurant at the roof On the negative side it gets very noisy in the evening during weekends, and there is only one elevator for all 5 floors (hotel rooms, bar, restaurant) so one usually need to wait rather long time to get it

Man skal forvente at der er noget larm fra gaden. Tillige er det ikke muligt at åbne dørene til den franske altan, da værelset bliver fyldt med fritureos samt tobaksrøg. Undlad at spise morgenmad på tagresturanten, da udbud og kvalitet er lav i forhold, hvad man kan få nede på gaden.
Man skal forvente at der er noget larm fra gaden. Tillige er det ikke muligt at åbne dørene til den franske altan, da værelset bliver fyldt med fritureos samt tobaksrøg. Undlad at spise morgenmad på tagresturanten, da udbud og kvalitet er lav i forhold, hvad man kan få nede på gaden.

The rooftop bar had an international crowd with greats wines and cocktails and fantastic food partnered with great view and attentive service. For the price I don’t think you can beat it. The rooms have everything you can think of, bottle of wine on arrival in the room, full complementary mini bar, all the amineties needed, loafers, shoe horn, polish, fantastic robes, slippers and a lot more. We thought the decor was amazing, felt very comfortable and cozy. The room was beautiful, and although small-they make the most out of the space. Very friendly and helpful staff and the restaurant on the top had excellent food! Great location to shopping and walking around town.

Amazing stay at hotel. The standout from the experience was the staff. Always so helpful. Sinan on the front desk was lovely and always smiling and wanted to do everything he could to make my stay perfect. Proper Turkish breakfast was superb on the roof terrace. The location is great too if you want to experience the city. You can walk across to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and you have all the delights of Beyoğlu on your doorstep. I want to come back here with my family and allow them to experience the hotel too.

Our first time in Istanbul and to be honest I didn’t know what to expect. The friendliness professionnalisme and care of the staff was beautiful to see. I would like to thank each and everyone by name from the day we arrive until our departure. Mr Yusuf Mr Ali thank you for your kindness genuine personalities and recommandation. Also a big shout out to Emra the hotel manager for the tour recommandation and flexibility. Last but not lees Forgive me but I can’t remember his name he was usually the overnight front desk. Thank you for helping us when my daughter was sick, we needed to take her to the ER and he was there with us every step of the way making sure we’re taking care of. If you’re a father you’ll understand and appreciate the little gesture and genuine kindness from others intime of need. Overall our stay at RUZ hotel was nice and many thanks to its wonderful staff.Istanbul is a city of many faces and we will definitely be back to see more of it.

The view from the rooftop was stunning, the service at the Simone excellent! The best part of the stay was the friendliness of the staff Duygu and Emre went out of their way to welcome me and help me plan my visit. She went as far as lending me her Istanbul card for transportation. Their kindness and hospitality will always be remembered.

Beyoglu ist meine Lieblingsstadt in Istanbul. Normalerweise besuche ich jedesmal ein anderes Hotel in der Nähe. Leider war dieses ausgebucht und ich bin auf Ruz Hotels gestoßen. Ich muss eins gestehen, jetzt bin ich froh darüber, denn Ruz ist aktuell mein Favorit. Das Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der berühmten Istiklal Straße. Die Gegend ist trotz angehäufter Tourismus sehr ruhig. Vom Hotel aus ist man in wenigen Sekunden an der Tünel Station, mit dem man in wenigen Minuten Karaköy (nahe Eminönü) erreichen kann. Taksim Metro Station kann man in ca. 10 min zu Fuß erreichen, oder man fährt mit dem historischen Tram mitten in der Istiklal Straße. Die Räume sind sehr luxuriös und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet worden. Man merkt, die Geschäftsführung legt sehr viel wert auf Details. Von der Leuchtschrift an der Wand mit einem tiefgründigen Spruch, bis hin auf das retro Radio im Zimmer. uvm. Das Restaurant und die Bar hatte zu meiner Zeit (März 2022) noch nicht geöffnet. War aber in der Endphase. Die Herzlichkeit und die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Hotels hat mich sogar dazu gebracht meinen Aufenthalt zu verlängern. Die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfebereitschafts des Hotelpersonals ist einfach erstklassig. Kein Wunsch ist ist unerfüllt geblieben. Mein größter Dank geht daher an das Personal dort, das spielt nämlich eine sehr große Rolle bei einem angenehmen Hotelaufenthalt. Wir sehen uns in kürzester Zeit wieder. <3 Liebe Grüße Esma

We stayed 5 nights at the Ruz and will be coming back in September. Perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Galata within walking distance to many major sights or short taxi trip. Beautifully furnished room in our suite with kitchenette. Fabulous restaurant! Loved the prawns, beef cheeks and octopus dishes.Make sure you get the breakfast it's fabulous and unique Mediterranean style.

Hotel bien situé dans le centre historique même s'il faut prévoir toujours beaucoup de marche car il est situé sur la colline du quartier Galata . Hotel propre, joli design, service poli. Chambre nettoyée tous les jours. Plutôt bien isolé dans un point de vue acoustique. Matelas un peu trop mou pour moi. À éviter le petit déjeuner dans le rooftop : même si avec une jolie vue, j'ai du payer 42€ à moi tout seul pour deux oeufs, un peu de fromage, jus et thé. Une vrai arnaque. Pour le reste, plutôt positif

Man skal forvente at der er noget larm fra gaden. Tillige er det ikke muligt at åbne dørene til den franske altan, da værelset bliver fyldt med fritureos samt tobaksrøg. Undlad at spise morgenmad på tagresturanten, da udbud og kvalitet er lav i forhold, hvad man kan få nede på gaden.

A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location, right next to Istiklal Caddesi, with plenty of shopping opportunities and a metro station just steps away. Although the neighbourhood is lively with bars and clubs, the hotel itself was pleasantly quiet. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of storage space in our room. There was no wardrobe or proper place to store our clothes. Apart from that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thank you very much!

Although the neighbourhood is lively with bars and clubs, the hotel itself was pleasantly quiet. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of storage space in our room. There was no wardrobe or proper place to store our clothes. Apart from that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thank you very much!

It would have been an easy 5 stars except for the location is a little noisy. IT's right in the very centre of the tourist area - so completely buzzing with restaurants and bars - so you're right in the heart of everything - but yes - earplugs at night are recommended. Otherwise a 5 star experience in every way. The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant is a HUGE highlight - incredible views right across the city and beyond.

The staff here were the friendliest and most helpful I've experienced across all my travels to Istanbul. I was able to check in early with additional accommodations, which set the tone for the whole stay. My room was on the front side of the hotel, and while there was a little music playing in the evening, it was never loud thanks to the excellent insulation. The room had everything I needed: a complimentary mini-bar, a tea kettle, air conditioning, bottled water, and a super comfortable bed. The on-site restaurant served up some delicious food, and I appreciated being able to use the gym for a quick workout. Overall, a great stay. I can't say enough about how helpful and welcoming the staff were. I'd highly recommend booking here. The location is perfect and walkable, minus all the Istanbul hills.
