An overnight stay before flying out the next morning. It was a nice room above the pub. Yes, up two flights of stairs, but that added to the charm of the place. We had supper at the pub, convenient. A bit surprised that my whisky sour was €12! A Tuesday night, so it wasn’t loud down in the pub, as others have mentioned.

The rooms are directly over the pub. There was live music every night except Tuesday and Wednesday I think. You will hear the festivities from your room until midnight and I was perfectly happy with it because I was downstairs in the pub each night. Ear plugs are supplied if you want to use them. If I was in Dublin again, this would be my spot.

The loud music of the bar downstairs keep us awake. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator and we carried 4 heavy suitcases 2 floors. There is not a front desk to ask for anything. This is a horrible hotel that doesn’t even deserves a 1 star.

Propriétaire plutôt cool il nous a même offert un café et donné les clés de la chambre 1h30 avant l'heure initiale. Superbe concert de musique irlandaise folklorique tous les lundis soirs.

The accommodation at Kennedy's Pub is modern, spacious and clean. It's in a good location on Drumcondra Road, easily accessible from the city centre by at least a couple of bus lines. The area around is nice with plenty of places to eat and drink and Kennedy's itself is a very nice pub. Also, within walking distance of the National Botanic Garden, well worth a visit in good weather and historic Glasnevin Cemetary next to that.

Kennedy's is in a fantastic location in Lower Drumcondra, with a bus stop to the airport right outside. Staff and service went above and beyond, as I received an upgrade at check-in, and also my case was kindly carried. The pub downstairs is extensive and clearly much enjoyed locally. There's a sense that the ownership/management is trying to kindle an extensive and thriving business on several levels. The fabric of the building is old, with common spaces and bedroom carpet needing refurbishment/replacement. I got the impression that someone was looking after the cleaning very well, the bed was very well made, and there were numerous kind touches. I left by mistake with the room key, a plain white card, and will return it if needed. My own stay was expensive but I may have been able to do better if I had booked later.

Un’ottima esperienza. Camera pulita ogni due giorni (soggiorno di 4 notti). Non si sentiva per niente il rumore del pub sottostante. Noi siamo arrivati all’1 AM e non c’è stato alcun problema col check-in. Davanti subito la fermata degli autobus e distante neanche 20 minuti dal centro di Dublino. Prezzo davvero conveniente.

I honestly am not sure if we really enjoyed our stay. It was.. fine? The manager that showed us to our rooms was kinda.. off? And the wifi connection was TERRIBLE. Didn't work at all in one room and the other, it only worked if you stayed in the corner and didn't move. The bar staff were extremely kind and helpful .. it was just the owner. He gave my brother and myself very off vibes.

The pub staff were all so lovely and also the vibe in the evening was so fun and lively especially the nights with live music. Bus stops right outside to get into the city centre quick or back. Also cracking breakfast.

Our stay at Kennedy's Pub was very good. The staff were friendly and attentive to restocking our room with the essentials (e.g., towels, soap, earplugs, etc.). The room is simple and straightforward, and all you need for a homebase as you explore Dublin. The only thing missing, and it is minor, is that there is no safe in your room so you need to plan for that. The accommodations have a classic pub vibe which is great. There is live music playing most evenings until quite late but the staff provide earplugs by default. The music was really good though for the days we stayed there so even though it plays late, that wasn't an issue. If we are back in Dublin we'll look to book again.

Leroy made our stay at Kennedys Pub so enjoyable. He offered great advice on what to see and happenings at the pub so we wouldn’t miss anything. All we had to do was ask and Leroy made it happen. He also makes a fantastic coffee. If ever in Dublin again we would not hesitate to stay at Kennedys.

Me and my partner stopped here for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect for us! It’s about a 15/20 minute walk into Dublin centre, which was ideal for us as a young couple who wanted to walk a bit and see the sights! The atmosphere in Kennedys is phenomenal and even though there was live music, we both slept very soundly! Leroy and the team looked after us! Everything was amazing and it was an wonderful authentic Irish pub to stop in! Will recommend!!!

An excellent location if heading to the airport the next day, or if going to a match obviously, but a little out of the centre, so perhaps best for those already familiar with the city. Also worth noting that it doesn't seem to have a reception as such, although the staff at the bar are happy to help with any questions.
