The key point of this location is it´s position in the center of the Istanbul, 5 minutes to walk from the Galata Tower, and Istiklal Street in Karaköy, located in a calm side street. The hotel has no breakfast place, but we got the best breakfast in a nearby libanese cafe called "Arada Cafe". Don´t miss this breakfast. The Unver family is very committed to make your stay pleasant. Knowledge of English and German is sufficient. Noteworthy are the tasteful rooms with 2 rooms / large bathroom / shower / air conditioned. Conclusion: We had a very pleasant starting point for 2 days to get to know Istanbul.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Wir haben es nach den Bildern, Bewertungen und Ortschaft gebucht, leider ist alles nicht so wie es beschrieben wird. Ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit gibt es nicht mal mehr warmes Wasser zum duschen. Vom taksim Square runter zu laufen ist eine reine Zumutung. Es ist in einer Seitengasse und deshalb nicht für jeden empfehlenswert. Fakt ist: für den Preis hätten wir ein viel besseres Hotel nehmen können!

The place is conveniently located a few minutes away from the Galata Tower, the facilities felt well kept and up to date, great service and assistance from the staff who help us book tue transfer to the airport, highly recommend.

Resepsiyonda kimse yok gidip posta kutusunda aliyorsun anahtari cikarkende oraya birakiyorsun hic bir yetkili yok, konum olarak guzel 10 dakika da istiklal caddesi ne cikabiliyorsun ama otelin oldugu muhit cok guvenli gozukmuyor, otoparklar var ama hem dolu hem pahali ve güvenip birakamadik belediyenin 20 dakika yürüme mesafesinde ucretli otoparkina biraktik. en buyuk sıkıntı otopark sorunu ve hijyen geri kalan diger dezavantajlar gözardi edilebilir. Bir daha gidermiyim diye sorarsaniz asla 500 1000 tl fazla verir kahvaltisi ve otoparki olan otel tutarim.

Lage ist super. Zimmer ist geräumig und sauber, einigermaßen gut gepflegt. Haus und Umgebung recht laut, Check in war super schlecht organisiert, die Dachterrasse ist abgeschlossen. Gleiches Spiel auch beim Check out, es war ausgemacht ich lasse meine Sachen da und komme 16 h zum abholen, es war niemand da.

La propiedad se encuentra en una calle por la que no querrías caminar de noche. Está en medio de edificios abandonados y hay muy poca iluminación. No hay una recepción ni alguien que te ayude porque realmente solo hay un administrador que no está pendiente de tu estancia más que de tu salida. La habitación que aparece en las fotos no es para nada la que te entregan, misma que está con imperfectos en muebles e instalaciones- la limpieza solo está al momento de la llegada puesto que durante las noches que te quedas jamás la limpian o cambian sábanas o toallas. Nosotros pedimos que nos limpiaran la habitación y lo único que hicieron fue sacar la basura y cambiar las toallas porque de hacer la cama o barrer no hicieron nada. El vestíbulo del edificio todo el día está abierto y oscuro. Hay una pequeña luz que se activa con el movimiento pero en general siempre se ve oscuro.

Asciugamani sporchi al nostro arrivo, uno dei letti non preparati e quabdo abbiamo chiesto di sistemare il terzo letto (o almeno fornirci le lenzuola) e portarci asciugamani puliti, non si sono attivati fino al giorno successivo. 1 letto era pendente perché le doghe erano rotte. Anche contando il prezzo basso, il servizio non era all’altezza…

The apartment was not well-maintained. Upon arrival, the window was left open, and there was an unpleasant odor in the room, the bathroom door was broken. Despite the listing mentioning daily cleaning, our room was not cleaned once during our four-night stay. Walls are extremely thin, so noise from neighboring rooms was a constant problem. The first 3 nights, a baby next door cried continuously, and on the 3rd night kept us awake from 4 am to 7 am, making it impossible to sleep. The only positive was the location, which was convenient for exploring the area. Overall, unless you’re only staying one night and can tolerate noise and minimal amenities, I would advise looking elsewhere.

Fantastic location near Galata and the port area. Getting the tram from nearby Tophane station was very convenient. They don’t clean your rooms but do replace towels, empty rubbish bins and restock toiletries (they did this twice during our 5 night stay)

The staff was very accommodating. I arranged my transfer through them and they waited patiently even though I had a long delay with my flight and baggage claim. We stayed in communication through what’s app. Also during the stay communication was good. Very friendly, kind and helpful.The room was spacious and clean. I had a room with the sea view, which was very nice. You could hear and see the cruise boat. Airco was present. It is a room that on some points needs a bit of renovations. For example the rail in the bathroom. I liked the industrial look of the room. It’s noisy at some times of the days. But it didn’t bother me, because most of the times I was out and about. When it came to sleep, it was quiet and I always wake up rested without noise. There was a lot to do around the area, Galata Tower, port and bridge were very close by. Good places to eat out nearby. I walked a lot and for the far away parts I took an uber. I enjoyed my time very much! I had a nice and good experience at property.

Our room was nothing like the photo. The 2 windows looked out on to the dilapidated frontage of the flats opposite. The shower was disgusting, full of mould and rotting wood.

Location of the apartment was very nice and made it easy to walk around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the only issue was that the bathroom door wouldn’t close due to misalignment and always stayed open, which caused some discomfort when using the toilet. Apart from this, everything was good, and it’s a recommendable place

We booked the penthouse with a balcony offering the view of Istanbul. There were ants all over the apartment, we noticed them only when they started biting us all over while laying down. The housekeeping has been informed and they vacuumed the place but the ants were still all over. Bathroom was small, and unclean with a very dim light and low water pressure. The bathroom picture was not even advertised and it was completely other picture when I booked the room, so definitely disappointing We are not picky when it comes to a hotel room as long as the place is clean but this was far away from it and I wouldn’t say that it’s housekeeping but the infrastructure definitely needs interior upgrade

The bathroom picture was not even advertised and it was completely other picture when I booked the room, so definitely disappointing We are not picky when it comes to a hotel room as long as the place is clean but this was far away from it and I wouldn’t say that it’s housekeeping but the infrastructure definitely needs interior upgrade

We arrived early and were kindly allowed to check in early too. The room was very spacious. It's in a great area with lots of food, drink and shopping options nearby, lots of things are walkable and the tram is nearby. The only improvement would be the double bed, which had partially collapsed on one side, which meant sleeping at a bit of angle.

Llegué a las 23:30 y no había nadie en recepción. Barrio inóspito, oscuro, inseguro, solitario. El trato de Uds. también nefasto. No tengo número de teléfono turco y dejaron de asistirme por eso. Estaba también pendiente de wifi para poder tener internet. Me dejaron colgada. Tuve que buscarme un hotel para esa noche y pagarlo de mi bolsillo. La respuesta al día siguiente fue con “risas” y “tenias la habitación reservada”, ni un “disculpa”. Me dijeron me reembolsarían esa noche que llegué el día de mi marcha y para variar… Ahí no había nadie! Limpieza inexiste. Tv inoperativa, estaba sin señal. Tampoco me dieron la habitación que sale en la foto… 😆😆😆 pero sí he de decir que la cama y la ducha muy cómodas. Café caducado y en definitiva un desastre… Nunca más en ese barrio y apartamento! Me costó un dineral para lo que fue. Un hotel con desayuno me hubiera salido incluso algo mejor de precio. Si vas sola no puedes volver a las tantas por ese barrio porque da miedo.

Based on the pics we were expecting much better property. The reception was closed when we arrived to check in, we had to ask other guests to find the staff. The shower wasn’t working properly, and when the room is booked for 3 person we expect 3 sleepers to be provided for us not just 1.

Close enough to public transport, 15 minutes into Salamanheet tram stop where all the main attractions are. Service was amazing. Clean room, recieved an additional blanket when requested. Helped with delivering our luggage late in the evening when the air travel company lost our luggage. Let us check in early. Will be staying again if we're next in Istanbul.

Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr angenehm. Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage des Hotels ist mega gut. 3 min zum Galataturm und 10 min zur nächsten Tramstation. Man kommt dadurch so gut wie überall hin.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Wir haben es nach den Bildern, Bewertungen und Ortschaft gebucht, leider ist alles nicht so wie es beschrieben wird. Ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit gibt es nicht mal mehr warmes Wasser zum duschen. Vom taksim Square runter zu laufen ist eine reine Zumutung. Es ist in einer Seitengasse und deshalb nicht für jeden empfehlenswert. Fakt ist: für den Preis hätten wir ein viel besseres Hotel nehmen können!

Fantastic location near Galata and the port area. Getting the tram from nearby Tophane station was very convenient. They don’t clean your rooms but do replace towels, empty rubbish bins and restock toiletries (they did this twice during our 5 night stay)

La propiedad se encuentra en una calle por la que no querrías caminar de noche. Está en medio de edificios abandonados y hay muy poca iluminación. No hay una recepción ni alguien que te ayude porque realmente solo hay un administrador que no está pendiente de tu estancia más que de tu salida. La habitación que aparece en las fotos no es para nada la que te entregan, misma que está con imperfectos en muebles e instalaciones- la limpieza solo está al momento de la llegada puesto que durante las noches que te quedas jamás la limpian o cambian sábanas o toallas. Nosotros pedimos que nos limpiaran la habitación y lo único que hicieron fue sacar la basura y cambiar las toallas porque de hacer la cama o barrer no hicieron nada. El vestíbulo del edificio todo el día está abierto y oscuro. Hay una pequeña luz que se activa con el movimiento pero en general siempre se ve oscuro.

Noteworthy are the tasteful rooms with 2 rooms / large bathroom / shower / air conditioned. Conclusion: We had a very pleasant starting point for 2 days to get to know Istanbul.
