We came down with friends and motorcycles. The staff was very kind, they even offered to let us park the motorcycles under the canopy. Beds & pillows were comfy, rooms were clean. Breakfast was very limited, which wasn't a problem for us. Very affordable. We would stay here again.

The Hotel Arthur is clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, but there were some hairs on the bedding/sheets (we were hoping it was just what happens while laundered like it does with my hair when I do laundry at home). There is a lot of parking and the hotel is right across the street from a Mexican restaurant and just down the road is a great coffee shop. The area is quiet as well. We enjoyed our stay.

This is second time staying there the place was very clean and the owner very helpful. It was quiet place i was not woke up because of doors slamming during the night. The only thing i could recommend is repairing parking lot. i know i will stay again.

Do not want to be overly critical because everything was okay and know good people are working hard to provide a service. Maybe some areas to consider for improvement, the person at desk was not very friendly, parking lot, reception area, and rooms were dated. Very sparse continental breakfast.

Fair price, and the shower and bathroom had accessible fittings which was nice. I liked that they did not provide toiletries in refillable containers. Actual hotel needs an update, carpets were dirty, towels were stained, threadbare and fraying. We found multiple dead woodlice in the room. Sheets on the bed and pillows were clean.

The Hotel Arthur is clean and well-kept. The room is very clean. You can tell they remodeled and looks great inside, which does not represent the outside. But it is the inside that matters. Some comment poorly on the breakfast, while it is subpar what can you expect for $60 a night. Some expensive hotels with FREE breakfast are poorly made. Staff are super friendly. They even followed up with me without my prompting when they remembered the recliner wasn’t working in my room to offer a new room. Great stay for a small hotel.

The hotel was nicer and cleaner than we expected. It was a nice stay and we would stay again if in the area. The person who checked me in and out was super nice as well. We got in very late and he didn’t make it seem like it was an inconvenience.

There were bed bugs in my room, actually babies!!! And you could see where the eggs are/dust in the bed frame! Also my fridge didn’t even work in the room neither did the lights! I won’t be coming back

Renovated and very clean. Owners were very personable. Beds were more hard than firm and the PTAC A/C unit struggled to keep up with the 98 degree heat. Overall good experience

The rate was reasonable. You could they recently remodeled the interior of the waiting area and hallways. The room was decent, with a mini fridge, chair, and even a small wardrobe closet for your convenience. However, there wasn't an outlet near the bed that was accessable to the occupant to charge devices, and there wasn't any overhead lighting for the main part of the room with the exception of a couple lamps and an LED strip about 3 ft long above a piece of art that was turned on with a switch in the power cord that was just above the bed, with no light switch for all of the outlets these lights were plugged into. That being said, this particular room looked like it had not been remodeled yet, at least not fully, so maybe some or all of these issues will be resolved. And these were minor inconveniences, certainly not a deal breaker for me staying here again in the future.

One of the rooms had a washcloth and body wash left in the shower. The other room the TV wouldn't work which we finally figured out it was because the outlet didn't work. There weren't enough outlets for a family with Electronics. For the price it was good. I am concerned about the electrical issues. The management and employees were all very polite.

Beds were hard and breakfast was terrible. Only had frozen waffles. Won’t stay again. This is a $40 a night hotel not $90. We come every year for the car meet and wanted somewhere closer than where we were staying but this is not the place.

Only good thing about this place is it was very clean bed was comfy. No light above shower or vary dark in shower. Toilet paper holder not screwed correctly on one side pretty ghetto. No smoke alarms. But the most rude thing was that they must forgot it was daylight saving time and was yelling at us to get and I calmly ststed we had hour yet it was only 10 am. She kept yelling at me to "get out get out its 11. I looked at her again perplexed while she was ranting and raving that it was time to get out. Man with her was yelling same thing. All very rude! Maybe staff needs trained that we turn clocks back in the fall. LMAO.

amazing staff, the person working there the day of RAGBRAI bike ride, set up breakfast super early so the riders can eat before leaving at 5 a.m. KUDOS and hats off to him. HE deserves a raise ! thank you

Took at least 15 minutes for someone to show up to check me in, despite repeated bell rings, phone calls, and knocks. Never saw anyone at front desk again. Bedding and shower appeared clean, but edges of rooms definitely weren’t. Counter next to sink was sticky.

Many relatives have stayed here before and recommended it. It was easy to get to from Omaha and not far from Malvern, IA where my grandmother lives. The hallways are dark but the rooms are nicer. AC worked well and was on when we arrived. Rooms include a hair dryer, samples of shampoo and conditioner, and a small wardrobe with hangers. Each morning they have coffee, cereal, milk, orange juice, waffles with syrup, bagels with cream cheese, and pre-packaged muffins or Danish pastries. After checking out, we headed to the airport and not long after, received a call that we had left a luggage key in our room. It was very kind that they went out of their way to contact me about it! I would stay here again. It's not 5 star, but very comfortable!

Ridiculous price for this level of quality. Toilet seat not properly attached to toilet. "Breakfast at 6 a.m." turned out to be a case of pastries, coffee and chairs sitting upside down on tabletops in the lobby. Disinterested manager. Won't stay here again.

the front man was never to be found couldnt get tv to work but could never find anyone at the desk to help us and the breakfast was pretty much non existent a few items most stale was not worth extra money for a breakfast when we had to go find and pay for real breakfast rooms were clean and quiet

Don’t read the negative reviews for this place! It’s clean and convenient when working in Glenwood. Very quiet and safe. I would recommend more breakfast options but for the size of the hotel, it’s not needed. Prices are very reasonable. See you again soon.

Everything was little better than average. Breakfast was basically coffee and 2 kinds of cereal. Room, bed, and bath room looked cleam, it was comfortable and quiet. I will probably stay there again

Everything was great until I got up for breakfast. Coffe in coffee pot was cold. I believe it was from the day before. And absolutely nothing for breakfast. No bread no nothing. This was advertised as having breakfast. For this reason I would give 1 star for false advertising.
