The hotel is new and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is great! Breakfast is decent - just like breakfasts at other hotels that offer a complimentary breakfast. The one draw back to this hotel is that they do not have an elevator! Please be aware of that ahead of time for your booking.

This is a beautiful hotel with large rooms. Everything was very nicely decorated and maintained. The bed was very comfortable and you had a choice of pillows from soft to firm. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There are also guest laundry facilities available,

Nice, modern hotel, great breakfast options. Room was very comfortable, and they have great amenities (pool and gym). Hotel staff were able to accommodate us for a last minute extra night (though Hotels.com indicated they were sold out). Tesla destination charger onsite is most welcome. All at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend staying here.

The good. The hotel is very nice and has an indoor pool and jacuzzi we used. They also had a free breakfast which was nice. We just used this as a stopover and ate at a restaurant in the little town called the outfitters for great pizza. The bad. We had hope to do the slot canyon tours there but realized escalante didnt really have any tours there to do it. The tour was out of Bryce which was an hour away so that didnt make sense. And there were no rental atvs or anything to get there because it was a long gravelly unpaved road about 10 miles to get there. We didnt want to use the rental car on a long bumpy road. So we felt we kind of wasted a day there. Other than that the hotel is very nice to stay at, probably the best one in this little town

This hotel was just fine but the pool was freezing. It was so cold we could not swim in it, which was a let down. The walls are also very thin but otherwise it was just fine for our stay in Escalante.

Hot tub was very welcome after a long day in the national parks, as was the breakfast the following day. Only dropped a star overall as there is no elevator so you have to carry all your bags upstairs.

The Canyon Country Lodge was a beautiful and a very clean place to stay. We weren't sure what the accommodations would be like in such a small town. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel was clean in every room we went to, our room, the pool area, the breakfast room, and the gym. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable.

This is a very beautiful and well-kept hotel. It looks brand new. The staff is friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The free breakfast was really nice and filling with lots of options. The rooms are clean, decorated tastefully, and well-lit. The pool was really fun for the kids. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and think this is an exceptional hotel. The only things preventing me from giving a 5 star review are the lack of housekeeping service, the slow drain in the bathroom sink, and the murky lukewarm water in the hot tub. I didn't see any signs saying there was no housekeeping service, and the staff didn't advise me of this when I checked in. Had I known our room wouldn't be cleaned I would have planned better with towels and made the beds before I left.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are spacious. Bedding is wonderful. Bathrooms are quite modern. Room furnishings are incomplete: refrigerator and microwave are on separate stands and not integrated. this gives the appearance that a renovation hasn't been completed.

Very good option for a place to stay in Escalante. On the ground floor, we often heard people on the 2nd floor, but never heard neighboring rooms. The breakfast is mediocre at best. And, unfortunately during our stay, the dining room (which advertises a really nice dinner) was closed almost every night because neither of the two chefs were able to make it in for their shifts. We perceived this as a lack of reliable staff in the area, and were disappointed because it left us with very few options during the week we were there, which meant we had 2 other restaurant options the entire week. If Canyon Country Lodge could provide the dinner menu it advertised, we would have loved it!!

It was a beautiful hotel! Location was so nice and set apart, but close to nearby businesses for a quick drive to the store. Rooms are incredibly spacious, comfortable, & clean. Mattresses a bit on the firm side but not too much. Bathroom was spacious and really nice. It advertises soundproof rooms and I truly didn’t hear anything from inside. I only heard the usual upstairs bathroom water when I was in our bathroom. Parking was easy and abundant. There is no elevator, so if you can’t walk upstairs you must request a first floor room with reservation. Everything seemed very new and updated, and the lobby was inviting. The restaurant downstairs served a good varied selection for dinner with prices ranging from decently affordable to a bit pricey. It was good portions and tasted decent. Breakfast was included with room price and served in back of lobby area with an egg type selection, meat and french toast, boiled eggs, breads for toast, waffle makers, and the usual other stuff. There was a nice pool, good sized, and a small gym room. Service was very good. I really liked it here; would come back for sure, and would recommend to anyone.

Loved our stay here. Every employee was great. Our kiddos loved the pool. Breakfast was fantastic. We left a stuffed animal there that meant a lot to my 3 year old daughter and before I even got home to reach out they had already contacted me and shipped it out to us. 10/10 staff. And beautiful and clean place to stay. We won’t stay anywhere else

The hotel was ok, definitely not the standard I'm used to especially from a service level. Arrived around 2:00, didn't realize check in was at 3:00. Front desk person was playing on the internet, told us check in was at 3:00, parking lot was a ghost town. Didn't even get up from her computer to talk, not what I'm used to.

It was a lovely well appointed hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast. However, a loud TV heard next door from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. provided little sleep. When calling the front desk at 1 a.m. to complain, I was only able to leave a message and the noise continued. Makes me wonder if the front desk is staffed at night and responsive to guests needs.

Hotel and staff are excellent. The link for directions is wrong. It will take you to a field in Boulder, UT and not to the hotel. Fix that please! Hotel is located IN Escalante. Across from the high school.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Convenient to all the area attractions. This is my second time staying here, and likely not my last. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed because they didn't have a cook, so we had to eat down the road. They did have a complimentary breakfast though.

Newest accommodations, clean, great size room, hot tub when we needed it… pool available. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with a pretty good menu and decent quality food. Not everything was prepared from scratch, but considering the size of the town, it was still nice to have a sit down option at the hotel.

Good motel - away from the center of Escalante and with plenty of parking. The restaurant was a little disappointing, on the evening we visited there was no beer or wine and the food selection was basic and lacked vegetables. Breakfast was adequate. A nice view from the room.
