Beautiful property right on the lake. We took advantage of the complimentary kayaks which was lovely. The restaurant has beautiful outdoor seating and food and service were excellent. The only negative is that we couldn’t take advantage of the fire pit or lakefront Adirondack chairs because a wedding was taking place.

We loved the location on Lake Bomoseen and all the available activities. Kayaks, paddleboards, beautiful pool, and pickleball courts, all included in the price. You can also hire a pontoon boat for a ride on the lake. There are a couple of floats to hang out on when you are swimming in the lake. The sunsets were magnificent each night. Also, grab and go breakfast included! The mosquitoes were bad at night when we tried to sit on the chaies on the grass, but sitting on the balcony outside our room was no ptoblem. There is a good restaurant on the property but closes at 9. I highly recommend Lake Bomoseen Lodge.

Our room had all the amenities of home-well stocked kitchen, counter and table seats, supply of towels for several days, comfy bed, large closets,hot shower with good pressure, TVs in LR and BR, quick assistance from helpful staff (stuck blinds and recommendations for hiking and shopping). Heated pool was great and we had a thorough tour of the lake from Finn, our pontoon boat captain. Grab and go daily breakfast was perfect and on site restaurant with live entertainment was also nice. Definitely recommend Lake Bomoseen lodge!

Location was perfect and property was well kept. Location of the restaurant was perfect as well. Parking was a bit difficult to find however with how busy the hotel/lodge area can get (we stayed on a weekend so it was to be expected). Overall however was a lovely place to stay!

This is a great place. I have been coming for about ten years. The lodge has had many upgrades over the years that's made it even better. The new pool is great! The only thing is being charged so much for continental breakfast that has nothing but cold cereal, a few mini muffins, granola bars and yogurt. You use to do a nice continental with muffins, breads, fruits, boiled eggs, danishes. We did not eat breakfast here even being charged. We love the pontoon boat ( very reasonably price for one hour )

Was a nice place to stay. Even though it was on a major road it was quiet because it's a very rural spot. Places to eat were on premises and close by! Be aware you must do stairs with your luggage if they put you on the 2nd floor. Loved the lake and fire pits!

Fantastic Stay…2 bedroom/1 bathroom Suite with amazing views of Lake Bomoseen. The Tap Room Restaurant has excellent food and a great beer selection On Tap. Property has a Pool and Guests also have access to kayaks and other water activities

The staff that we encountered were all friendly and seemed to be genuinely concerned about making our stay pleasant & comfortable. They quickly handled a situation with some unruly guests that made our first night very unsettling. The rooms have been recently updated , the bed linens & bath towels were new & clean. The beds were comfy. However , the doors & door locks to the rooms are less than good. They most certainly do not seem secure as they are loose and key access isnt smooth. Housekeeping staff should be reminded to check the coffee maker for cleanliness as BOTH rooms we stayed in had leftover filter packs in the brewer. A definite turn off. There is a serious lack of shelving or storage space in the bathrooms for your cosmetic bags etc. The continental breakfast had a decent selection and really good coffee but is inconvenient to go to office to get and return to room. Just doesnt make for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, it is an ok place with a great view and great staff. I probably wouldnt stay again as its not the type of place that I look for for a weekend away but we were travelling with others who's budget was more conservative.

The Lodge was excellent from check in to check out. The staff at the Lodge was very friendly and answered our questions. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff and the restaurant was excellent as well. Very helpful and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Wow, it exceeded my expectations. November in VT-chilly and grey- but this place made it beautiful!! Room was immaculate, staff at check in and the Taproom were amazing! Food was also terrific at the Taproom! I cant wait to come back!!

Wonderful location. Pontoon boat is amazing. People are friendly. Resteraunt is fantastic. I wish the lodge would take a little more pride in their rooms. Dresser drawers don’t open. Room obviously hasn’t been dusted (top corners of rooms to remove bugs/cog webs) or vacuumed between guests. Stained blanket on bed. We had a great vacation, but a little attention to detail would have made it even better.

Our one-room condo was nice, we could see the lake from the second floor! Was a great homing spot for our Christmas Holiday stretch in Vt and it fit our budget. The lodge was a welcoming spot for a drink and live music at the weekend evening. The downside to the one room condo is - if you plan to sleep on the pull-out couch know that it is not very comfortable at all and looked a bit used with a big 'dent' in the middle. Luckily they have an extra foam mattress in the closet to layer on top of the couch, plus I also had brought one more of my own on this trip from past experiences at other hotels with uncomfy pull-out couches! Using both foam mats and my own comforter - it was great. Also when the condos next to us got occupied at the weekend, the sounds from the others carried through the walls, but we weren't really bothered by that as they became quiet by 10pm. The bedroom mattress was quite comfortable according to my mother and the bedroom was spacious and allowed us to have our own space and separate tvs without having to book the two bedroom condo. If you like fresh clean towels in plenty every morning - this is for sure the place to go! 10 stars for the nice lady that dropped a bag full off every morning! Plus, having our own little kitchenette is something we like and it was well appointed, although the refrigerator was a bit loud. We also very much enjoyed the coffee at the office in the morning! We'd stay here again.

Room was great, beautiful property, and nice lodge with good food. Rooms are not very sound proof though. I could hear when each person came back to their room and each took a shower. That said, I would go back again in warmer weather.

Our trip was for fishing. Always enjoy our stay at the Lodge. Only complaint is Room 105 shower head needs replacement(very weak). Other than that, our stay was awesome.

Came in at night. Hard to find the check in office (bigger/more signs). Beautiful room!! However ac/heater blows right on your head in bed. Shower glass not wide enough, water all over the floor. Very noisy on the bottom floor from above(insulation needed). Otherwise nice room and staff.

The Lodge has obviously been around for a while, especially the wing where we stayed, but our room was updated with a nice bathroom. The reason for 3 stars on one of the sections was that it was impossible to regulate the water temperature; it took a while to get hot (no big deal, the resort was close to full) then stayed too hot and when we turned it back toward cold it was way too cold. Otherwise the lake is nice, they had plenty of boat options, the restaurant is very good and the man-woman singing entertainment was appropriately Vermonty - if that makes sense.

I’ve stayed here once before and after a second stay, I would probably stay again, but I would prepare better.I had reserved a room with two beds as the booking said it was pet friendly, I put a comment saying I’d have a dog. Unfortunately when I arrived that communication hadn’t made it to the hotel, so they had to switch me into a one bed room. The room didn’t have a way to adjust the heat, and there were no available plugs to use except for the bathroom one. The plug near the bed was in the middle of the king size bed and was utilized with a plug splitter for the lamps, phone, and alarm clock. Even unplugging one would not let a normal size phone charger cord reach the nightstand. The plug by the mini fridge was also on a splitter and shared for the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (however the coffee maker cord was too short and had to be placed on the floor to use. The plug by the tv was filled with the tv and cable box and the only other plug was on a far wall from the bed. There was a space heater, however I’m not sure where it could have really been plugged in to use. The room also didn’t have a table of any sort. We had used the ironing board for our takeout from the tavern. This room was also quite noisy, so hearing the person behind us snoring all night was not ideal at all, maybe consider moving the furniture around a bit to help with the noise and outlets would be good. The location is beautiful and the staff was great, just want folks to be well informed.

The plug by the mini fridge was also on a splitter and shared for the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (however the coffee maker cord was too short and had to be placed on the floor to use. The plug by the tv was filled with the tv and cable box and the only other plug was on a far wall from the bed. There was a space heater, however I’m not sure where it could have really been plugged in to use. The room also didn’t have a table of any sort. We had used the ironing board for our takeout from the tavern. This room was also quite noisy, so hearing the person behind us snoring all night was not ideal at all, maybe consider moving the furniture around a bit to help with the noise and outlets would be good. The location is beautiful and the staff was great, just want folks to be well informed.

Beautiful spot. Taproom had great food and drinks. Condo was spacious and comfortable. Only issue was the noise from above. Really enjoyed our stay, and will be back, but only in an upstairs room.

The staff that we encountered were all friendly and seemed to be genuinely concerned about making our stay pleasant & comfortable. They quickly handled a situation with some unruly guests that made our first night very unsettling. The rooms have been recently updated , the bed linens & bath towels were new & clean. The beds were comfy. However , the doors & door locks to the rooms are less than good. They most certainly do not seem secure as they are loose and key access isnt smooth. Housekeeping staff should be reminded to check the coffee maker for cleanliness as BOTH rooms we stayed in had leftover filter packs in the brewer. A definite turn off. There is a serious lack of shelving or storage space in the bathrooms for your cosmetic bags etc. The continental breakfast had a decent selection and really good coffee but is inconvenient to go to office to get and return to room. Just doesnt make for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, it is an ok place with a great view and great staff. I probably wouldnt stay again as its not the type of place that I look for for a weekend away but we were travelling with others who's budget was more conservative.

The Lodge was excellent from check in to check out. The staff at the Lodge was very friendly and answered our questions. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff and the restaurant was excellent as well. Very helpful and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Wow, it exceeded my expectations. November in VT-chilly and grey- but this place made it beautiful!! Room was immaculate, staff at check in and the Taproom were amazing! Food was also terrific at the Taproom! I cant wait to come back!!

The property location was a bit tricky to find after a 5 hour drive. We follow the sign and first hit the restaurant first, then the very friendly staff told us to go to the tiny hut across the parking lot with a small sign ‘Office’. The lady at the reception had a local, ‘know all’ attitude and she wasn’t friendly (and quite rude sometimes) to us. after checked in, again we are directed to drive to the other side of the road (where the lake is) for the actual room.

From the moment we were greeted by Christine we knew it was going to be an amazing stay. We were traveling with four kids and were given the private cabin, which was so cozy. Everything was clean in the cabin, extra towels were delivered, we had a private kitchen and every single person working at the cottage to check in or the lodge/ tap room was such a delight. The food and drinks were wonderful too. We will be back for sure and telling many friends about this place!

This is a lovely place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and very clean. Although they did not clean during our stay, they left fresh towels every day and took our trash - this worked great for us.

Stayed here to go skiing the next day, nice short drive to okemo. The staff is super friendly and the bar is really good food. They still use actual keys not cards to get into each room but that’s not a big deal. My room did have a weirdly excessive slant to it (could race water bottles on the floor if ya want) but also not a big deal to me I thought it was funny

The property is more rustic that presented in listing but it was clean and comfortable. We were basically the only guests but the woman at the front desk in the morning acted as if we were an inconvenience. It is in the middle of nowhere and there is no phone service but the WiFi was strong.

This is a great place. I have been coming for about ten years. The lodge has had many upgrades over the years that's made it even better. The new pool is great! The only thing is being charged so much for continental breakfast that has nothing but cold cereal, a few mini muffins, granola bars and yogurt. You use to do a nice continental with muffins, breads, fruits, boiled eggs, danishes. We did not eat breakfast here even being charged. We love the pontoon boat ( very reasonably price for one hour )

Fantastic stay! The views are unbelievable, the room was huge, the pool was spotless and heated, the lake was breathtaking. Kayaks, paddle 5thboards and life vests all provided free. Restaurant was great with live music on weekends. Highly recommend. Surrounding area is lovely! Try the Birdseye Diner is fantastic and just a mile away.
