Convient location, clean, friendly staff good breakfast. Just and fyi no elevator. Not a problem for us but good to know if you have a need for that. Only 2 floors so we could easily do the stairs

The hotel was great and the service just as good. But for not having a pool or where the hotel is located, not worth the money. Need to have another type of restaurant in town near by.Not much to do, so a pool would have been nice or hot tub.

We arrived late at night for check in and were greeted very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good with a variety of options both hot and cold. The only complaint I would have would be no elevator.

Only concern I had was no elevator. We were in the second floor and had to use the stairs. The second floor was locked from first floor/ front counter so each person had to have room key to go anywhere. A little dated but was clean and very nice breakfast

This was a very pleasant stay. Right off the highway, close to a good convenience store, staff very kind and attentive. Very clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast. Love that they had a bar! Would stay here again.

They doubled booked my room. They charged my credit card for 2 rooms for two nights. I told them I only wanted 1 room for 2 nights for my Aunts funeral. The front desk told me they took care of the extra room. I just received my credit bill & sure enough there was a charge for $324.56 & another charge for $288.48 the amount I agreed to pay. The nice 3 seat bar in the hotel was closed because they didn’t have a liquor license now. The sausage links were cold. The milk was curdled in the morning for breakfast. I just stayed at the property a couple of months ago for my Uncles funeral. Really disappointed this location went down hill so fast! Unfortunately I won’t stay at this location ever again! Very disappointed to say the least!

This is a great place to stop off for the night on a long road trip. Staff is excellent, rooms very clean and comfortable. Shower hot and room comes with coffee / tea maker and mini fridge plus other items you’d usually don’t get at a small hotel. They have a small bar and lounge area. They are near a gas station however far enough away so there is noise. Bed is super comfortable for a good night sleep. Rooms are a good size. Only issue is they have no elevator however it is only a two story building. I’d definitely stay here again.

The property in the staff overall was was OK. However, whenever I got into the room, all of the pillows were really, really stiff and hard and the towels were all extremely stinky like they didn’t even smell like bleach. They just smelt really off not completely clean.

The hotel room was so gross. Old food in fridge. Spider webs. Killed spider in room. Stains on pillow case and sheets. No batteries in tv remote. Had to keep going down for new keys bc they would work to get up the stairs but not to get into our hotel room. When we went down to get keys, no one would be at desk do had to sit and wait several minutes.

This is the second time I stayed at this property in Lamoni, Iowa. A lot to stop and stay here when I'm heading to my son's in Minnesota. The rooms are always fantastic, the staff is super friendly and very accommodating, and a location is super excellent. If you're a woman traveling by yourself, this is a place to stay the night at. There's an Amish country store and a I think it's called Maid-Rite fast food place in the same building. The food there is pretty good. The pare it down in a few words, it's safe, clean, and always a pleasure to stay at.

The clerk was extremely rude. She gleefully informed us that not only were there no ground floor rooms available (even though there were only 6 cars in the lot) they have no elevator and no, there was no one to help with luggage. When the room key wouldn’t work she said it had to be our fault.

Great place to stay, very clean and professional. The staff was amazing, I had a change in travel plans and asked for a late check out. Dave was very understanding and reasonable. Would recommend anyone to stay as well as will be there again.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The front office gal was very helpful and nice both at check in and after check out. We had a flat tire while traveling with 3 very young children. She knew where we could get help and offered us to stay at the hotel with the kids while the car got fixed. She definitely went beyond the call of duty. The rooms were comfortable, beds were comfortable and it was really clean.

We love the quiet surroundings, a paved walking trail around the town that lets you walk right out into the Iowa countryside, and the Amish Country Store across the street. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and professional. They no longer say your room number aloud at checkin for privacy protection which I thought was a nice added measure. The beds were very comfortable and you get 4 pillows per bed (appreciated!). The room temperature is adjustable (you can actually cool down the room) which to me says they actually care about our comfort. The rooms were clean (very important to me). It was nice and quiet and had all of the necessities of a nice stay. The coffee maker works well in the room and the breakfast was a buffet of many options (both lighter options as well as some food on the sturdier side - their biscuits and gravy were delicious). Very pleased with the stay.
