Great cooked breakfast included, stylish room and fantastic location in the centre of Warwick. Bedroom black out blinds would be ideal in addition to the existing curtains. Friendly staff and a nice garden at the back.

This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer! Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal. The room had a big fan which was very nice since I always sleep with a fan on at home. Continental breakfast was included, no hot food, but adequate for breakfast. Really good croissants! We were in town to do Warwick castle...it was very close. Wish I'd had another day to explore the old square and the town.

Lovely tasty cooked breakfast at the weekend only, continental rest of time. Nice to have a small fridge in the room too. Bit of a squeeze around one side of the bed but enjoyed the a relax in a bath for a change.

I had a fantastic stay, I arrived after 5 pm, and parking was outside the front door, free between 5 pm and 9 am which worked perfectly for my stay. It has a good menu, I had the prawn starter followed by haddock and chips, which was fantastic. my room was well equipped with a view of the central Warwick church tower. Heather and the team are very friendly and made me feel welcome, super stay will be back.

Wow, what a beautiful experience. Lovely room (room 5) a fantastic en-suite. Spotlessly clean and the most beautiful view of Warwick church. Wonderful helpful staff. I would definitely recommend. We will be back! Thank you, Jo, Keith and Riley.

The room was spotless and the bed and pillows were comfortable but the room was very small.All the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in a very central location and although they don’t have their own parking, there is a reasonably priced parking lot nearby.

Lovely room above a nice pub in the centre of Warwick. Room nicely decorated, bed comfortable. Very good bathroom with a bath. Spotlessly clean. Its in an old building, but its decorated as modern as it could be without comprising the old features. Its a little noisy, and not good window coverage to keep the daylight out. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

At the heart of Warwick, the accommodation location was just spot on. My room was clean and comfortable, but I think it and the public corridors are perhaps in need of a refresh now (something that was in a previous review as well). I’m ex military, so maybe my eye is rather sharper than most on this, but I can only tell you as I see it. I did not have the provided breakfast; I’m an early riser, so I did not want to wait until 8 am … I took in Greggs instead (a 1 minute walk away). I arrived and left by train … the station was an easy and pleasing 15 minute walk away.

We enjoyed our stay the room was nice and the bathroom was great, but we did find it fairly warm during our late Aug stay. Bed is a little on the hard side, but that is the norm in the UK in general.

Lovely boutique hotel. Great welcome from the staff. Beautiful large room with plenty of room for our Labrador. Food in the bar was fantastic too - best steak and ale pie I can remember. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

The staff are amazing here, especially the head housekeeper who carried my suitcase up 2 long flights of stairs. My room was comfortable and large, with a great view of the town. Bathroom was splendid, and I enjoyed the soaker tub while there.

Excellent location, room are spacious and even though above the tavern you cannot hear any noise below. Breakfast was lovely, good choices. We parked near the castle (castle street car park) was £8 for 24 hours. Would highly recommended staying here

Super location for what I require, always enjoy staying here, however, I was disappointed to be told after I had set off early to make it in good time to dine that evening, with it being a Sunday, I didn't want to have to rely on the hope that places would be open/or available. Disappointingly, I was advised when I arrived 2 hours before the advertised last food order time that the kitchen was closing early. I think I could have been made aware of this before I arrived, considering the booking was made weeks in advance, and as I say, I was arriving on Sunday, when limited other places to eat were available. This won't put me off from staying again.

The breakfast was very poor. We arrived 30 mins before breakfast finished and there was nothing left. Staff didn’t offer us tea or coffee. We had to ask. I really wouldn’t call it breakfast at all.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent from check-in to departure and were very attentive. Excellence location with the castle and park both within a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

Location couldn’t have been better, right in the centre next to the bars and restaurants. Rooms are small but adequate and clean. Staff are so friendly, checking in and out was easy. Highly recommend a visit to Warwick and if you’re staying overnight, stay here as everything is close by, make sure you head to Ronnie’s bar for a couple of drinks and live music, and highly recommend Saffron Gold if you fancy a curry - all only a few minutes walk. The market is on in the square on Saturday mornings and it’s really good.

Highly recommend a visit to Warwick and if you’re staying overnight, stay here as everything is close by, make sure you head to Ronnie’s bar for a couple of drinks and live music, and highly recommend Saffron Gold if you fancy a curry - all only a few minutes walk. The market is on in the square on Saturday mornings and it’s really good.

At the heart of Warwick, the accommodation location was just spot on. My room was clean and comfortable, but I think it and the public corridors are perhaps in need of a refresh now (something that was in a previous review as well). I’m ex military, so maybe my eye is rather sharper than most on this, but I can only tell you as I see it. I did not have the provided breakfast; I’m an early riser, so I did not want to wait until 8 am … I took in Greggs instead (a 1 minute walk away). I arrived and left by train … the station was an easy and pleasing 15 minute walk away.

Excellent location, room are spacious and even though above the tavern you cannot hear any noise below. Breakfast was lovely, good choices. We parked near the castle (castle street car park) was £8 for 24 hours. Would highly recommended staying here

We absolutely loved our room at The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff were lovely, the location was perfect and we loved the high ceiling and historic feel to the place. It was very clean and we appreciated the little touches like biscuits by the kettle and water in the fridge. The only thing that stopped this review from being "excellent" was the breakfast - it was a continental breakfast and we found that the pastries were stale, so the options were really only cereal, fruit, bread and cereal bars (points for offering oat milk though!). We honestly were a little bit disappointed but other than that we loved our stay here and would stay again!

Lovely boutique hotel. Great welcome from the staff. Beautiful large room with plenty of room for our Labrador. Food in the bar was fantastic too - best steak and ale pie I can remember. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Great cooked breakfast included, stylish room and fantastic location in the centre of Warwick. Bedroom black out blinds would be ideal in addition to the existing curtains. Friendly staff and a nice garden at the back.

Super location for what I require, always enjoy staying here, however, I was disappointed to be told after I had set off early to make it in good time to dine that evening, with it being a Sunday, I didn't want to have to rely on the hope that places would be open/or available. Disappointingly, I was advised when I arrived 2 hours before the advertised last food order time that the kitchen was closing early. I think I could have been made aware of this before I arrived, considering the booking was made weeks in advance, and as I say, I was arriving on Sunday, when limited other places to eat were available. This won't put me off from staying again.

Lovely tasty cooked breakfast at the weekend only, continental rest of time. Nice to have a small fridge in the room too. Bit of a squeeze around one side of the bed but enjoyed the a relax in a bath for a change.

The breakfast was very poor. We arrived 30 mins before breakfast finished and there was nothing left. Staff didn’t offer us tea or coffee. We had to ask. I really wouldn’t call it breakfast at all.

The hotel didn’t advertise air conditioning but the fan just didn’t provide enough relief from the recent heatwave. All the surfaces in the room also seemed to be sticky. The staff were nice and friendly but I would not be returning to this hotel.
