The property was maintained immaculately. The room we stayed in was big (400 square-foot). The bed was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well-maintained as well. As a bonus, there are a couple of EV chargers that are free. We drive a Tesla and we get free supercharging so there was no monetary benefit for us but it saved us time needed to charge for the next leg of travel.

We stayed here for a concert at the Greek Theatre. They stay was very comfortable and clean. Check-in was very fast and we got to check in a little early. Room was very clean and look recently updated. Parking is gated at night and felt very safe. I will be returning anytime I attend another concert at the Greek Theatre.

Clean room, easy check in. Very quiet and the staff was very attentive when needed. Secure parking area is gated after 11pm with easy key access and locks back up. Would definitely return.

The room appeared to be clean but I noticed my feet were black - so the floor was obviously dirty. Housekeeping left behind a used towel from the prior guest. Overall though for the money it's not a bad place.

The problem that I had was my room had a light urine smell, it it seemed to be coming from the corner wall near the bed. Also, under the bed the floor was filthy. The pictures of the room type were great and it felt like a bait and switch situation unfortunately. Sheet smell like chlorine, mini fridge was loud. A staff just checked me in with no real greeting and info about the property.

Very friendly reception and good location, however shocked to find missing smoke detector with just wires hanging, broken bedside lamp, dirty and moldy all around bath, fausty smelling bathroom and bath plug didn’t work. Noise from people above because of hard flooring.

Appearance of the room was very nice for the price. However there were a few hairs on the sheets. They quickly changed all the bedding, were apologetic and the room did appear to be clean otherwise.

Great little inn for a quick getaway! Clean overall, but the shower we got needs to be cleaned for little mold specks in the corners and calcium buildup on the shower head. Otherwise, everything is great! Just being a tiny bit nitpicky. :)

The sleeping area was nice but the shower had a lot of black mold lining the shower and underneath the hair conditioner. I’m allergic so my allergies were flared up and I couldn’t sleep.

We will stay here again if we have another quick visit. Good value for the price and less than 10 minutes from Occidental College where our daughter attends. The fact that the property is gated and key accessible only overnight is great. Room was comfortable, although we could hear the movement in the room above us until they went to bed, but this ended by 10 pm. I am extremely sensitive to noise. The beds and linens are comfortable, but I do recommend having available an extra blanket for each bed.

All good! Great location, convenient parking, and friendly staff. Our room was big and clean. One little disadvantage was noise outside of the room early in morning, manageable though, and fridge which froze quite a few things we put inside. But those are little things, in general it was a very pleasant stay!

Just an overnight before flight but pleasantly surprised at the facilities of this motel type property. Fridge, microwave, a proper kettle and great TV inc. youtube,and other streaming services. A fabulous shower combo of large and smaller headed sprays. Very nice reception staff. Near eating facilities. Perhaps a little way out for some for LAX (allow at least one hour for drive to airport) but safe area.

There is a special way to change the water spout to the shower. You have to squat down to do so. It is unsafe. I recommend that you change it BEFORE taking a shower. Two of us did NOT change it before, and squatted to change it at the bottom, and hit the head hard consequently.

The guy at the front desk was so nice! He said it was his first day and he was super accommodating and helpful and so friendly! Made small talk and was helpful in explaining the hotel and area. Motel is updated you can tell. May have been older before but is remodeled for sure now. Nice finishings and clean. No carpet, which to me every room should be that way! Flooring is the nastiest thing a room can have, so this helps. Beds seemed to be simple and clean. Room had a mini fridge and coffee maker which is nice too. Some don’t which is an odd surprise but is something I do find traveling. Bathroom was clean and updated as well. It’s honestly a nice modern, remodeled room, especially for its price. It’s kind of untelling when you pull in, but don’t let that turn you away. It’s a nice place. Also, they lock the gate at the entrance of the parking lot at night too. Which I think is a plus anywhere! Made me feel safe w my car and the stuff inside. But doesn’t really seem to look or feel unsafe anyways. Also noticed there is cameras outside all over so that’s a comfort too. Definitely think this is a nice little remodeled stay if you’re driving through or visiting maybe even. I’d stay again for sure

Really happy that we found this motel for staying in this area. The bed is comfortable with good pillows. The TV is awesome with plenty of content to enjoy. The whole facility is clean, including a nice eating area off to the back. And the greetings by the staff are great! Very welcoming.

My wife had a reservation that we had booked for awhile. Upon arrival they had overbooked and no longer had a room for us. They apologized and blamed it on the computer program. Our reservation was no longer valid.

We had booked two rooms for a one-night stay after stargazing night at mount wilson observatory. Check-in and parking were easy, and the rooms clean and comfortable. I am especially grateful that Bianca called me right away to let me know that house cleaning had found my laptop which I’d accidentally left in the nightstand. Highly recommend this well-managed hotel.

The air conditioning was effective. The parking felt unsafe... people randomly knocking on room doors. First morning the front desk called at 5:30 AM to ask why I called them I did not call them. Front desk staff was horrendously rude.

The TV in the room would not work. Called the desk, they said someone would be up in 15 mins…no one showed. It was ok…we left and went to a party. When I came back later in the evening, no one answered the phone at front desk.

initially, I was upset because I was charged then told that my reservation was not in the system. Upon further review, the manager quickly alerted me that I had booked for Sunday and not Saturday as I had originally thought. she was patient and very professional and accommodating me although it was my error. I owe her tremendous gratitude and great customer service followed. The room I had was clean recently remodeled and she took a negative and turned to a positive. Thank you both.

The owner was inconsiderate. We requested for our friend from San Diego to stay in our room and we will just pay extra. She refused, so we need to get another room for the 3 of us. We paid 2 rooms in one night. Big hotels and motels just ask for extra pay for extra person but not Sakura. We felt we were scammed. We will not come back to this place again

I wish I had better to say, the property seemed nice, but my key card demagnetized both time I left the room. I went to my car after check-in, and it demagnetized - one use and about 2 minutes later. I never had it around any magnets. That was annoying, but I was able to go back to the front desk to reset it, and just made a mental note to keep it in a completely separate pocket. Unfortunately, the second time it demagnetized was when I got back for a night or with friends. The desk closed at 7pm, so nobody was available to help, even though the front desk door was unlocked and I rang the help bell multiple times. I ended up sleeping in my car until the hotel opened in the morning.

This property had gates to the parking lot which made me feel safer. There were other properties on this street and none of them had security gates. the room was very nice, and lots of TV options. The room rate was great! And they accommodated me with another night as they had a cancellation.

This motel was clean and super convenient. There is a large supermarket, petrol station and fast food places a couple of minutes walk up the road. A good location if you are heading to Universal Studios.

Very nice for the price. Clean comfy beds. Only downside is they have a electric water pot in the room but you have to get your coffee and teas and sugars and creamers and stirrers from the front desk. Conveniently located to where we were going and Glendale galleria.

It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Plenty of food options within a 5 minute walk and stuffs open late, not too bad of a drive from Hollywood area and such as well. It was nice and quiet and they have their own parking lot which was great.

Read the reviews beforehand and they did not disappoint! This motel is obviously recently renovated / refurbished and was extremely clean and well maintained. Located in Glendale with easy access to freeway as well as many of the locations we wanted to see / do (Universal/Warner Bros/Griffith Park etc). Ralphs grocery store is right next to it as well as Starbucks - only a couple of blocks away. Glendale Galleria and Americana at the Brand are also 10minute drive / 30 minute walk away. We did both :) Staff was extremely friendly. Room is equipped with fridge, microwave and a water kettle. We were not able to get the tv to work to show basic cable however we did not even bother mentioning this to the staff because TV was not needed by us. Aircon is pretty loud but works very well. I brought earplugs since I’m a light sleeper but my fiancee had no problem sleeping with traffic sounds or aircon. There is a vending machine in front of the elevator which is also convenient. I’d like to point out that I’m extremely neurotic about cleanness. I would 100% go back here.

Nice area. Quiet I guess because no children are allowed. No problem finding parking. Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Would have been nice to have a taller table to dine on but the coffee table was fine. Very clean and affordable. Ralph's market is right around the corner!
