Un seul point négatif, si on est véhiculé, il faut réserver à l’avance la place de parking car l’hôtel n’a pas assez de places pour tous les clients et c’est très difficile de trouver une place dans la citadelle (sauf sortir de la citadelle).

Fairly basic for a 4 star but acceptable, if you want to park, you MUST prebook as there is very limited parking. We were lucky but there is very limited parking in St Malo.. the public car parks are not hugely secure and often full at weekends - especially in season. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient being in the middle of st malo

It may be the best hotel within the walls of St Malo. A bit of an oasis. Hotel room was modern and quiet (August). The ability to park under the hotel was a bonus in a very congested Intra Muros area. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area in front of the hotel that overlooked a quiet square.

We stayed 3 nights. Very nice hotel, front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful, reserved a parking (35 euro daily) in the basement, we had Deluxe room with 2 twin beds, it was pretty new and modern but small ( barely can fit 2 suitcases), can hear rain drop sound from ceiling at night and morning (may be were footsteps). Heater towel warmer rack in the bathroom to dry clothes was great. Our friend had Juior Suite for 25 euro more per night, next time we would choose this kind of the room if we ever go back.

Très bel hôtel. Tout à été parfait : chambre propre et agréable, personnel du bar souriant et serviable, petit déjeuner varié, personnel très courtois au départ,… Seul l’accueil a été glacial. Par téléphone d’abord, quand nous avons appelé la réception pour savoir par où entrer dans la ville close en voiture (« bah j’en sais rien, je ne suis pas dans votre voiture »). Après avoir insisté afin de connaître la porte par laquelle les autres clients entraient dans la ville nous avons pu rejoindre l’hôtel. Cette jeune femme insolente nous a accueilli tout aussi nonchalamment. Passé ce moment désagréable nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce bel hôtel et le reste du personnel était fort heureusement très sympathique et professionnel, à commencer par sa collègue de la réception qui relevait largement le niveau (jeune femme avec un accent qui était très courtoise).

Golden tulip.... Nous venons d y passer 2 nuits. Hôtel très spacieux..calme et propre. Petit déjeuner irréprochable..un des meilleurs parmis les petits déjeuner des autres hôtels...tout était si parfait mais malheureusement un très gros point noir Qui est inadmissible pour un Hôtel 4 etoiles : les toilettes et la salle de bain se trouvernt ensemble mais la porte est un porte en verre suspendue par 2 grosses charnières en metal avec un jour d un centimètre tout autour sans fermeture et juste un leger film opaque a l interieur. Si vous allez aux toilettes il faut rester dans le noir car si vs allumez la lumière, vous etes en vitrine devant votre partenaire.....nous n avons jamais vu ça..même dans une gamme tres en dessous....bravo Mr l architecte..quel est le but...ca gache le sejour dans un magnifique hôtel ....

Tulip was in a PERFECT location, with easy walking distance to anywhere within the St Malo walls. Staff was friendly and exceptional. Only complaints were two: 1. The central AC was FIXED on 22C and would go no lower; and 2. The food was extremely limited. No dinner menu and the appetizer menu was pitiful. However, food was abundant within easy walking distances!

Room was uncomfortable- sparse furniture- only on outdoor patio style chair, very uncomfortable and a large clear plastic device, unclear I table or stool. Doubt it would hold me. One very small nightstand. Other than bed that was it for furnishings. No refrigerator. Toilet was in one very small room with no sink - other side of room from sink and shower. We are mobility limited seniors. We were concerned that as soon as you step into the room, you have to step up for rest of room, risk of falling/tripping, especially at night. There was a very nice restaurant across the small square in another property.

This is a 4 star hotel that did not live up to expectations, as far as the room itself was concerned. Abundant use of Formica finishes, in places bubbled and chipped, and its wood effect flooring, gave it the appearance of a 1980s touring caravan. The shower room was basic and with its glass door afforded little privacy. Going to the loo in the night means flooding the bedroom with light. The bed was not particularly comfortable and the air conditioning of limited effect.

This was a great hotel with nice staff. There were 2 problems that we faced: 1) The streets were very narrow and it was a struggle to drive our big SUV rental car. 2) During the weekend, there was only one receptionist and s/he was either very busy with many customers or not around. They need to hire more receptionists at night or weekends. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.
