The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well worth a try with plenty of options. Lovely place to stay close to the railway station.

We stayed in the Annex and it was beautiful and private. It was updated, bright and clean. However the bed and couch desperately need to be replaced. The couch was broken and hitting the floor and the bed was old and springy. Also, we got great recommendations for dinner, but once we decided to go eat we were informed by every single restaurant that we needed a reservation. That would have been good to note ahead of time since that seems to be well known in downtown Dumfries. I would still highly recommend this place.
