Doesn't look like much from the outside, But JR is the most accommodating owner ever, and the place is very clean on the inside. Beds are comfortable, Keurig coffee maker, Roku TV, microwave and fridge. Bathroom is bright and clean. The main building has a bar and pool table (free pool) and it is the most unique woodlands theme ever! Must see! JR has good recommendations for dining and everything is 15-20 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay.

Jr was a great host. Had the best night sleep here in quite a long time. Quiet and loved the Kuerig and the fact he had coffee and creamers available in the room. Nice flower garden outback. This isnt your luxery motel but adequate for an overnight stay. We would go back. The price is also good. Rooms are small. Not for a family of four or more but could get two rooms at the price you pay. Restaurant across from motel.

Wir hatten einen tollen Empfang in der Unterkunft! Der öffentliche Bereich hat uns einen tollen Abend beschert und wir haben Billiard gespielt und Musik gehört. Das Familienzimmer ist groß und gleicht eher einer großen Wohnung, als „nur“ einem Zimmer. Der Allegheny National Forest ist schnell erreicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was a nice motel for overnight rest. The property out back in the parking lot has some muddy areas that need to be repaired. It is not a large property but, cozy.

I received a warm,friendly greeting from the owner/manager as soon as i arrived. He gave me a brief tour and explained everything I'd neeed to know. The room was immaculate and comfortable.

Very old rooms. Smelled like smoke. Would not issue me a refund when I had to cut my stay short due to a family emergency

Very dated I understand that, but the room smelled and did not present a clean room. Also I believe ac leaked into room the carpet was wet under the ac unit and I did not spill anything. So I think the smell was from that

Host was attentive and helpful, just doesn't have much to work with - rooms are small and bed was like sleeping in a bowl. AC was very loud so we slept with it off - come morning we find we were attacked by mosquitoes (I hope!). All in all not a good experience, will not stay here again.

This is a characterful place ! I liked the coffee maker and fridge etc The room is small so ok for one night. On a main road so traffic a bit of an issue

Room was very small but had everything you need (bed, fridge). Owner was very friendly and recommended an absolutely excellent restaurant (Table 105).

What a pleasure! Host JR was very welcoming and the room was adorable and had a lot of little touches, like a Keurig and napkins. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I imagine it was a pillow top mattress. Very happy and will definitely be staying here the next time I visit warren instead of the overpriced other options!

The owner really cares about this place. He took me on a personal tour and the room has tons of comforts such as real housetowels, very comfortable linens on the bed, in a full Kureg machine. It may be a small place but hes made it as comfortable. and quiet as possible

Although the motel is old and small, JR has gone the 2nd mile to make it accommodating. There is Keurig coffee and tea in the room, a fridge (with freezer!) and microwave. The bathroom is spacious, shower is good. The bed was very comfortable. The place was clean (enough for us!) We stayed here because of its proximity to Chapman State Park. JR met us and took us to the room to explain things and how the tv works. He was quickly responsive to any text message prior to our visit with answers to our questions. A bonus: directly across the road is a restaurant with an ice cream shop. Yum!! I would stay again if in the area.

Where do I start? First, the place has no office. You have to call ahead and let the guy know when you are arriving. That's not always possible when you're in sales. Then he comes out and takes you in the room, closes the door, and proceeds to explain how to work the tv and turn on lights and AC. Being a woman travelling alone, I did not appreciate that at all! I've been turning on tvs, lights, and ACs for many years. The room was super tiny. The nearest restaurant was 21 miles away. Lastly, I could not get cell phone reception there. I need my phone for business calls. I called the manager to tell him I would have to check out a day early because of that and he said rudely, "Well you got through to me, didn't you?" Then we got cut off. I had to call him 4 times to get the message across due to poor phone connections. I didn't expect a refund on the second night, I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I can't possibly understand how this place got such good reviews! My parents ran a mom and pop motel back in the 60's, so I always try to give their little places my business when possible. But no office?? What about ice, vending, receipts? My Dad would always greet customers in the office even if it was 2am! This is a poor excuse for a motel and totally unacceptable.

One of the best motels I have ever stayed in, the host JR was amazing. He was so nice and helpful, greeted us as soon as we got there, gave us a tour, and told us where all the good restaurants and stores were located. It was a very safe and comfortable place to stay!

Clean but room was over crowded with furniture. Check In does not sync with Hotels.com. I don't care to give out my Cell Number especially when there is a working email.

JR is hospitality plus! he brought water out to my cat which was very considerate. he has a great spiel re the area attractions... the room had everything I needed. loved the jewel tone linens, nice pick-me-up vibe.

While the outside was nothing to brag about, it looks like the inside was painstakingly cared for and updated with a great Keurig coffeemaker with all the "fixin's", satellite TV, microwave, & frig. I texted about a problem I had with the TV and they called me to help out and we had a nice chat. I did solve the TV issue quickly. The only "issue" were the people next door, who had barking dogs and played their music loudly. But I slept well and was able to go on my trip well rested.

JR is a great host - very attentive and helpful. We arrived on motorcycles during a thunderstorm and he helped get us checked in , settled, fed and even provided towels for the bikes.
