Advertising that you have laundry facilities when it is out of order with no signage . Wasted money for a service that didn’t work . Weekly cleaning of rooms is disgusting. If that is the case you need cleaning ability , vacuum , rubbish disposal and Laundry. It is out of action so bedsheets are not clean

Very clean and new, quiet, comfortable bed and linen. Very close to Grifith univ and GCUH. 10 minutes walk to GCUH tram station and you can reach Surfar's paradise directly by tram. If you have a buniness at GU or GCUH, just stay here.

The king room was great, with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in ages! However try to avoid the 4th floor - I was under the rooftop bar so was kept awake by not only the music but then what sounded like furniture being dragged across a floor for an hour till 1am If the other rooms are like the one I stayed in (402) then it’s a great value place to stay, with a buffet / restaurant / cafe next door. Do not however book the breakfast through this site as they charge 75% more than buying when you arrive. Total con.

It was a one night stopover following a flight from Perth and before heading home. It gave us time to refresh and chill, with a room that was oh, so comfortable, a great shower and the room was short walking distance to the club for drinks and a meal. Very convenient. Friendly staff and service. What more can one ask!

The staff service were excellent. Can't fault them. Polite, helpful, respectful and patient answering all our questions. The room itself was excellent in cleanliness. The only trouble with our room was that we couldnt get any sleep from the noise of the door when other guests were entering or exiting their rooms. Our door would make such a loud rumble that it almost sounds OUR door just got slammed. So our sleep was constantly interrupted.

Property and room were great. Room was spacious and nice. Everything was clean. Not a huge fan of the fact that the payment was taken prior to my arrival even after selecting pay on arrival when booking. Outside of that everything was great and would likely book again if I'm looking for accommodation in the area.

I always stay at a Mantra when I go to the Gold Coast, I have always loved it. This was the exception. It was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a Mantra. I called the property well in advance to advise that I required early check-in as my flight arrived at 6:25am. I was told that it could not be guaranteed but a note would be left on my booking. Upon arrival I was made to wait over 5 hours to be able to check into my room. All I wanted to do was shower and sleep. Upon arrival I also asked whether there was a shuttle service to the airport - I was told there was no longer a shuttle service since COVID. I contacted the shuttle service directly to find out and lo and behold! They did in fact pick up and drop off from the property. They say that they are “family friendly” - don’t ask for a plate, a bowl, or any cutlery. They don’t have any. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Mantra. Will never stay here again.

Would not give husband access as booking was in my name. He gave them his id and explained that wife booked accommodation and they would not give him access. Stupidity and arrogance. The hospital recommended this hotel because it's close to their facility. They were surprised at the situation. It was lucky that I didn't have to stay the night in the hospital and finally booked in at about 6 o clock. I have never encountered this issue before when I have booked accommodation in my name for others. Very disappointed.

First off, I hardly ever complain about where I stay as I put it down to just bad luck or someone having a bad day. The property and amenities are fine, but the attitude of some staff leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed overnight attending a function in the Aviary Bar and all staff in this area were very pleasant and accommodating. Our unpleasantness came when we questioned why the security deposit taken on our credit card had not been refunded after four days. The response from guest services was very poor and a trained series of phrases. This same response was received on the fifth day when I inquired again. Day 6 and the charge is still processed against the credit card. I'm not ringing them again to get the same response.

Well maintained and very well presented hotel with modern design and excellent rooms. Easy walking distance to the Gold Coast’s Health and Knowledge Precinct, Gold Coast University Hospital, Griffith University and surrounding areas. Southport Sharks located at the base of the hotel is also very convenient for excellent dining options.

I stay here often for work. It’s a lovely hotel, very clean and professional staff. Room service meals are high quality. Only downfall is if you add breakfast on in the Expedia booking, it added $58 per day. It wasn’t a buffet, just a normal cafe so had I not included breakfast and just paid at the cafe, it would have been $16 per day. So adding the breakfast to the booking meant i significantly over paid for my stay.

Perfect location for us to attend a Ball being held at the Event Centre right next door. Lovely Aviary bar on top floor where we had a pre-ball cocktail. Beautiful breakfast in the Southport Sharks Club at the same location. Lovely rooms, clean and with all the usual requirements for an overnight, or a couple of days stay.

Room was excellent in cleanliness. Reception staff good. Found all the eating places were very noisy. Would have been nice to have somwhere quiet to enjoy a meal. Chose a la carte barramundi for a meal but it was dreadful. Very overcooked as were the chips. Very disappointing. When I asked a member of staff what were the different dining options she didnt know. Someone tried the door to my room during the evening. Overall a good stay

My wife and I stayed overnight. Our room was immaculate , very clean and tidy with everything required for a comfortable stay. The club is a short stroll from the lift down a ramp and we had a nice meal in the cafe there. We could have saddled up to a buffet but decided to leave this until next visit. We did purchase two breakfasts which were amazing! The hotel and club is a must stay if your in Southport, Gold Coast.

Do not consume alcohol. Breakfast was prese ted well but not piping hot. Plates were quite cold as well. Coffee.machine had chinese or japanese instructions and by 8am needed coffee grounds emptied. Overall terrific value. Room price was a tad expensive.
