All of the staff was very friendly. Our bathroom light was out and the manager fixed it quickly. The pool was great and our son had a blast. Room was clean and just as described.

The elevator was out of order Saturday morning so we had to use the stairs wasn’t to happy about that and the pool was closed that y we chose the hotel we was looking forward to swimming but we couldn’t and the man at the front desk wasn’t to friendly…. Would I stay again no I wouldn’t

The pool was closed for renovations and there was no indication of this before booking! Only a piece of paper posted at checkin that said the pool was closed for renovations. My kids were looking for a hotel with a pool and this was very disappointing. Just make the note on your website and be honest about the conditions. Also, the only elevator was out of service.

The hotel itself was fine and met our needs. However both mornings we were awoken at 5:30am by people arguing up on the 4th floor above our room. I think it was employees who lived there. And the hot tub definitely needs some TLC.

The pool hot tub was disgusting and not properly cleaned so we didn’t get in it. The room AC did not keep the room cool. The hotel smelled of marijuana by the elevators. I could really understand the lady at the front desk. Won’t be staying here again.

The property is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing but nothing works. The pool was closed the hot tub was closed the fire pit in the back had its line broken so it was not usable.

First checked in and the key card wouldn’t work and then the door stayed red so i think it was a door issue. Then had to get another room. They on way to room the whole place smelled of sewer smell. Not just the room. The place is a little dated. Room wasn’t that dirty but the sheets had stains and so did all the towels. We checked out and left.

The carpet was ripped up in the room with the sub floor exposed. It didn't seem very clean. The breakfast was out of most items by 8:30am. They did have a waffle maker but there was someone standing there with 10 cups of batter.

When I arrived, the first room, they gave me did not have a working television and had 2 burnt out lightbulbs. When I went to the front desk, she said that the last guest said the same thing. She offered to allow me to move rooms. I tried four additional rooms before returning my stuff back to the first room. Two of the rooms they had me try had roaches. Another room did not have a working TV and the last room they had me try had horrible stains and the carpet was in disrepair as well as an offensive odor. They offered me no compensation after hauling my stuff to the various rooms. I returned to my room with the broken TV and the burnt out lightbulbs. They did send somebody to eventually fix the TV and replace the lightbulbs.

Positives: The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful and the hotel was very quiet! Negatives: After having to change rooms three times because of disrepair and lack of cleanliness, we still ended up with a room with stained carpet, splatters on the walls, stained sheets, hairball on the floor behind the bathroom door, and a TV screen with three large scratches across the center. We called and asked for new sheets (which they very politely provided) but those sheets were also very worn and stained. The coffee maker was also dirty from previous use!

It was fine but on the first floor I could hear the front door bell all night and lots of noise. It seemed like excessive noise. The gym was small. TV selection was good. Small small room but ok for me. Breakfast was just average.

Good if you’re just stopping for the night. Room and bathroom are not very clean and you can tell. However, check in was easy and painless. Wifi did not work properly all night, so if that’s a priority, I’d rethink this location. It’s close to some fast food though which is convenient.

Overall, fine for the price. Clean facility and convenient location. However, this hotel is very loud. The elevator dings at every floor, and I heard it throughout the night and day. Also, housekeeping is very loud - the carts rumble loudly in the morning, and the housekeeping crew yelled back and forth to one another down the halls quite a bit. Also, the doors slam shut everywhere. Overall, not a very restful stay but fine for the money.

The front desk staff was friendly and the location is very convenient to the highway. Parking and the building itself felt perfectly safe, etc., so for the price, I would say it was fine. That said, it is a little more run down than it looks in the photos. The shower in my bathroom was broken - I had to rig the faucet up so that I could get it to make pressure for a shower. The sheets had a couple holes in them, and there were flashing lights in the ceiling (probably a smoke detector or something) that weren't apparent until I tried to go to bed. The highway noise is also quite a bit more than I thought it would be if you have a room on that side of the building - the other side probably would have been fine. Again, overall it was fine, and probably better than a lot of places in Lubbock, but definitely nothing more than what you're paying for!

If you’re thinking of checking in early they’ll make you pay $40 or another option would be that you come in at 3pm. Standard check in time. Every other hotels that I’ve stayed in, they were pretty open to check in early if any rooms are available. If you check out after 11am you have to pay fine.

We’ve stayed here before and thought to give it one more try, but there’s hardly anyone at the front desk ever; and when we did speak to the front desk person/manager, we were told he is unable to handle our matter and the owner Ricky is super busy with his other businesses and we shouldn’t expect a reply from him for several weeks (we never heard from him- although I messaged him via the app as well).

sketchy neighborhood, room is as bright as daylight even at night with all the lights off because the curtains don't go all the way to the top and the parking lot is extremely lighted. Front desk guy was on a personal call with earbuds (sounded like flirting with girlfriend) while handling my checkin, he barely said a word to me and when he did, he mumbled and then said something in a foreign language to his phone call and laughed. Definitely not welcoming or professional. Wouldn't even write down the wifi password, just told me verbally and I could barely understand it with his accent so I had to ask him to repeat it a few times. Also said checkout was 10am when it's listed on reservation as 11am. Towels are tiny. Shower was so low flow it was more like a dribble. Walls paper thin, can hear everyone else on your floor. Would definitely not stay here again.

The property was clean and the room was great. We had everything we needed in the room, it was very clean and comfortable. I don't have any complaints about the property or room at all. The man at the front desk was rude. I said hi to him when we walked in and he said "can I have your id?", he did not say hi or acknowledge that I said hi. He mumbled and walked away from me when I asked him a question, he told me which room we had and the wifi password and something else but I don't know what because he mumbled the whole time. He had at least one of his ear buds in so maybe he didn't hear me.

My stay was okay until my last day when I decided to do a late checkout for a $20 fee. 30 minutes before my checkout the manager calls me and discredits the fact an employee told me this was possible and that I had opted in for this extension, ordering me and in fact yelling that I must come down and check out then or else I’ll be charged an extra night. Mind you, in the middle of me getting ready to leave. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful and I could tell he felt he could talk to me like that because I look and sound young. Would not recommend this place honestly, they need to learn about customer service again.

Did not visit the gym, but the staff were very friendly and prioritized our security which was important to us. There was a clean, fresh smelling room waiting for us after a long drive. There were spaces in the main area as well as in our room to use for business/school purposes.

The property was fine. I felt safe, even though the neighborhood surrounding it seemed to be a bit more on the rough side. The room was clean enough. It needed some updates, especially where the carpet was frayed. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. The remote for the TV didn’t work. I didn’t make a big deal about it because I was only there to sleep and busy during the two days I was there.

Lubbock TX and some of the hotels can be rough and dirty. Not so with this property. Clean and fresh. Yes, it’s immediately adjacent to the highway, but it seems sound abatement (at least on the front of the hotel facing the highway) was a focus during construction. The landscaping at any property is Lubbock is a significant, if not an impossible challenge. So a small negative on this one element. The ‘free’ breakfast was adequate. The staff polite, helpful and available.

Breakfast, if you want to call it that, was not good. They didn’t have batter for the waffles. When we got down there to go eat, they weee out of everything and we had ti ask them to replenish the food. The biscuits they added were ice cold. The sausage links were rubbery. The coffee was way too hot to even drink.

Very clean and comfortable! The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, apple, and bagels. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. My only complaint would be the shower head could be better, but it's not so bad I wouldn't stay here again! I would definitely stay here again!

The accent of the desk clerk was extremely hard to understand. I asked 4 times to repeat to no avail. The channels on the listing were not available. I went downstairs and was advised they would reboot the system. Returned to the room 4 hours later and still not the channels desired. If they’re not available don’t include them in your listing. At breakfast, the gravy was beyond cold, the eggs were lukewarm. Breakfast opened at 6 am, we were there at 6:15 am. Bey disappointed.

I made a complaint about the food temperature the last time I stayed there. I got an email from them apologizing and saying that they would look into it. Well, it was the same issue this time. The biscuits and sausages were barely warm. They need to put the sausages in the warmer with the eggs, so that they will be hot. They need to adjust the temperature on the warmer for the biscuits a little bit higher. I had to put my food in the microwave so that it would be hot enough to eat properly. On the good side, they have a really nice indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is just wonderful. You can set a timer for up to twenty minutes and just relax! They keep plenty of clean towels out there for you to dry off with.
