Great hotel - best Gainesville option if you want to be in a great location. Would be nice if the lobby didn't blast music at 7am for those of us who want to head down and work and have breakfast. Maybe a little quieter or maybe wait til 9am?. It's not the One Hotel in South Beach.

This is a very modern, super clean hotel. Very nice lobby bar in the evening. The only issue was, being unfamiliar with the area, we didn't know where to park and were forced to use valet parking, which was $35. Lots of one way streets in the area.

The hotel was clean, my room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. As a sort of bathroom snob, the shower was fantastic with plenty of water pressure. Staff was courteous and professional. My only complaint, and this is only for area of improvement, is that valet is mandatory. They were extremely busy on Monday morning and it took 15 min to get my car. I would have liked the option to get my own car. Otherwise, great hotel and I would return again.

I enjoyed our stay, there are plenty of places to eat around, grocery store within walking distance. In this occasion we chose to stay again in this hotel because were going to a volleyball game at FAU, which the stadium is walking distance from AC Hotel, works perfect! Only thing we don’t like is that is only ballet parking but at least they have the option to help parking your car for a fee ☺️ so that is fine.

The breakfast is convenient but hardly worth the money. On our last day, they dropped a forty two dollar bill on our table for cold eggs and sausage, for two diners. I had received a ‘final’ bill from AC for our stay via email. When the Missus asked for a hard copy upon checkout, the billing was different, substantially. Fun location with plenty of walkable restaurants and young adults. It’s sad to see the homeless milling about. I’m always counting my blessings.

The water pressure was extremely low. I could barely brush my teeth. We only had one bath towel and had to wait awhile for them to bring more. That was after calling the front desk 5 times, but they did not answer, so I finally called the outside line using my cell. and got to talk to someone. The hotel was nice in the lobby and was sufficiently clean, but it's sometimes the little things that make or break the experience. I would not feel loyal to this hotel if I went back to Gainesville.

The rooms are very sterile and cold. However they are super clean.Not much room to hang and store things. One pod of coffee, so had to ask for more. Really loud ventilation and HVAC system sounded like a jet plane in our room. I did not sleep well at all.

Everyone we encountered at the is place was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The lobby was nicely appointed and welcoming. Stephanie was very pleasant and made our check-in and check-out very easy. The housekeeper on our floor was very pleasant. All of the men who worked in valet were professional and friendly. The items offered for breakfast were not that good. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better but overall we had a nice stay and we’d stay there again when in the area.
