Great location. Room was clean and large. The only thing off putting was the smell in the entrance to the building. Also, the front door of the building was supposed to be only accessible by using a lock code but we were able to open the door just by pushing it. Property should fix this security loop hole.

Great location to see Porto. Has elevator for seniors or those with walking difficulties. Best to take Uber or taxi due no close parking. Close to waterfrontand other attractions. Highly recomend staying here. Unfortunately there is road construction infront but windows seal out noise

I highly recommend staying at the Apartamentos The Arc Carris when you are in Porto. Beautiful modern room, kitchen and bathroom. A large deck with table and chairs overlooks the street. One block away from the river. A unique feature is the entrance. It takes you through a large one way window. Very Alice in Wonderland like. I was staying there alone and felt incredibly safe.

Perfect location, 1 minute to the river and 10 minute walk to the old city centre. The room was spacious and clean. The check in was good, but just note that you need to go to the main hotel across the road, and get a code to open the apartments. Slightly hard to find, but once we got there it was smooth!

Nice and clean and very central. Apartment with elevator which was nice. Check in across the road which wasn’t clear but I saw this in a prior review so I had a heads up. It’s very close by so not a big issue. Apartment is spacious and clean and was a very good rate. Everything is walkable and very central to old town and across the bridge to Gaia area. The shower was terrible - very difficult to get right temp and flow. The shower head was more like a shower mixer and not a shower rose. The pressure was so strong that when we ditched on the water the mixer flew off the stand and sprayed everywhere. There was also a piece of metal on the bathroom floor, just behind the door. Probably from a door stopper that broke off. Very dangerous if not seen and can inflict some serious injury. Staff were friendly and check in smooth. I booked it due to the “exceptional” ratings. It’s a nice option at a good rate and I’d rate it as “very good”.

We rented the penthouse and it was even more beautiful in person than in photos! Great layout and very clean. Perfect location in Porto. It’s very hard to find, so message the hotel before you arrive for check in instructions.

The apartment was clean and very secure. We had minor issues but the maintenance guys were there in an instant to make the adjustments. Only complaint is our apartment had a odour in the bathroom. It is probably because there is no pea trap on the sink and smelled

Location of the property was excellent & the room was nicely presented, however, it was let down by lack of maintenance. The studio itself wasn’t cleaned properly, the kitchen area was covered in dust and there were stains around the bed. The bathroom, whilst nicely presented, smelt of damp & the shower was a nightmare to use. To get a constant temperature, you had to have it on a an extremely powerful pressure which wasn’t comfortable to use, any less and the shower would constantly go from scolding to freezing. I liked the apartment and building, it’s just a shame it was let down by the maintenance.

Very clean, great location and our suite had a small view of the Duoro River. Although advertised as soundproof rooms, you can still hear guests when they are in the hallway by the elevator. We still enjoyed our stay!

The building is lovely. We were shocked to find the property had not been cleaned. There were sexual toys left behind from the previous occupancy. When reported this to the manager, he blamed the third-party cleaning company. Unbelievable!

We stayed in an apartment with a terrace and views of the river and street below. The room was very spacious and clean, it had a kitchen and sitting area. The apartments are located in the historic district, check in was easy at the hotel across the street. It is a great location with easy walking distance to everything in Porto.

The apartment was very well presented, clean and spacious. It’s in a great situation, near the river, with lots of drinking and dining places nearby. We booked a breakfast option at an extra cost and I would not recommend that - better to find a breakfast elsewhere. The apartment itself was exceptional though and I would definitely recommend a stay there.

+ It is located near the waterfront which makes it a perfect tourist spot for hikes on the riverbank + Apartment looks really nice. + The kitchen is well equipped and thought through. + big safe that can easily hold two 13 inch laptops and some more stuff. When we checked in we realized that the safe doesn't work. After about 30 min maintenance staff diagnosed the problem, removed the faulty safe and installed a new one that worked properly. - wifi is horrible. it works irregularly, with connection going and stopping all the time. Sometimes even checking your email is impossible. If you need stable connection for anything you’re going be frustrated -Bathroom is spacious and looks pretty but the water pressure is low in the shower and it floods the floor. It’s also impossible to use the sink without splashing everything with water. And the light is rather dim which makes it hard to shave - In the kitchen some salt and pepper would be nice. - There is a dish drainer but nothing to wash the dishes by hand. There is a dishwasher and you get one tablet for it but it’s not refilled by housekeeping. (Housekeeping puts any dirty dishes they can find in the dishwasher and turn it on - using their own tablets so there's that)

This turned out to be a great location, close to the river with gorgeous bridges. Studio layout was so convenient with plenty of room. Nice, new and very enjoyable.

Lejligheden ligger har perfekt placering i byen. Tæt på Duoro floden og hele restaurant området og i gåafstand fra Ribiera med alle portvins kældrene. Lejligheden var super fin og havde en balkon med udsigt til floden og gadelivet. Vær opmærksom på at lejligheden netop ligger i centrum og der kan være en del trafikstøj fra biler og udrykningsfartøj, derudover havde lejligheden et ventilationssystem som ikke kunne slukkes og som gav en del lyd fra sig. Jeg sover selv altid med ørepropper men det gør konen ikke og hun synes specielt ventilationen støjede en del.

Nice comfortable apartment. Black out blinds and sound proofing was effective. Could get a little noisy with the occasional motor bike coming through the tunnel. Staff were great and just 2 mins walk from the river. Beautiful.

This property is located right in the heart of the waterfront tourist area, close to dining options and plenty of beautiful sights. There is also a small grocery next door. The apartment itself has a beautiful view from the small balcony, but you have to go out onto the balcony to see it. I loved the way the doors opened to the outside to enjoy the fresh air. Our only complaint was that the bed pillows were ridiculously thin. Everything else was wonderful! Can be a bit noisy due to location, but we would stay here again.

And the light is rather dim which makes it hard to shave - In the kitchen some salt and pepper would be nice. - There is a dish drainer but nothing to wash the dishes by hand. There is a dishwasher and you get one tablet for it but it’s not refilled by housekeeping. (Housekeeping puts any dirty dishes they can find in the dishwasher and turn it on - using their own tablets so there's that)

When we checked in we realized that the safe doesn't work. After about 30 min maintenance staff diagnosed the problem, removed the faulty safe and installed a new one that worked properly. - wifi is horrible. it works irregularly, with connection going and stopping all the time. Felt completely neglected. Staff were dismissive, rude, and kept bouncing me back to Expedia instead of helping. The room was listed as “sleeps 3,” yet only had one double bed. When I raised the issue, the front desk ignored my concerns, doubled down on me and said they couldn’t do anything, and reach back out to expedia and left me feeling helpless. I ended up sleeping on the floor so my wife and 5-year-old could use the bed. I am requesting immediate action regarding a highly misleading listing and a deeply upsetting hotel experience connected to my recent stay

We really enjoyed our stay the the Arc Carris apartments. If you are looking to be in downtown Porto close to grocery, restaurants, shopping, etc you cannot beat this property. The property management was also excellent to deal with us. When our flight was delayed on our check out day they allowed us to check out late and stored our bags for very cheap so we could enjoy the day in Porto. Our one recommendation would be to fix the hot water situation. The temperature of water that came out of the shower was erratic, constantly changing on its own.

Everything worked out perfectly. Since we had read the reviews we knew about the check in process. Our concerns were rapidly addressed and we had a nice and smooth stay. Despite the location of the apartments in such a busy area of Porto, the windows were soundproof and we slept well. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful.

Nice and clean and very central. Apartment with elevator which was nice. Check in across the road which wasn’t clear but I saw this in a prior review so I had a heads up. It’s very close by so not a big issue. Apartment is spacious and clean and was a very good rate. Everything is walkable and very central to old town and across the bridge to Gaia area. The shower was terrible - very difficult to get right temp and flow. The shower head was more like a shower mixer and not a shower rose. The pressure was so strong that when we ditched on the water the mixer flew off the stand and sprayed everywhere. There was also a piece of metal on the bathroom floor, just behind the door. Probably from a door stopper that broke off. Very dangerous if not seen and can inflict some serious injury. Staff were friendly and check in smooth. I booked it due to the “exceptional” ratings. It’s a nice option at a good rate and I’d rate it as “very good”.

The Apartments were great for our one week stay. Having the extra space compared to a hotel room was greatly appreciated. The apartments were clean and well maintained. The location is perfect since you’re less than a 5 minute walk to the Duoro River, Don Luis Bridge and many restaurants. The only small confusion was where to check-in and access the apartment on the first day since you have to check- in at the main hotel and then cross the street to get to the apartments.

This property is located right in the heart of the waterfront tourist area, close to dining options and plenty of beautiful sights. There is also a small grocery next door. The apartment itself has a beautiful view from the small balcony, but you have to go out onto the balcony to see it. I loved the way the doors opened to the outside to enjoy the fresh air. Our only complaint was that the bed pillows were ridiculously thin. Everything else was wonderful! Can be a bit noisy due to location, but we would stay here again.

Perfect location, 1 minute to the river and 10 minute walk to the old city centre. The room was spacious and clean. The check in was good, but just note that you need to go to the main hotel across the road, and get a code to open the apartments. Slightly hard to find, but once we got there it was smooth!

Excellent apartment 2 minutes from the historic harbour. Great location. Room had all we needed to make snacks and store water and wine in the fridge. Handy to have dishwasher, too. Staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend these apartments.

We enjoyed our stay in the 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. The check in at the hotel was conveniently located just a few steps away from the apartment building. The breakfast option was lovely. Great service from the front desk and the restaurant servers. Location of the property is perfect for exploring the Ribeiro area. Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to the river for our river cruise.

The apartment was very well presented, clean and spacious. It’s in a great situation, near the river, with lots of drinking and dining places nearby. We booked a breakfast option at an extra cost and I would not recommend that - better to find a breakfast elsewhere. The apartment itself was exceptional though and I would definitely recommend a stay there.

It would have been nice if someone could have shown us where the apartment was and how to get in. The apartment itself was great, could have used a box of tissues but otherwise had everything we needed and the location was amazing with a great little balcony. Breakfast was terrible, they couldn’t turn the tables over quick enough for the number of guests staying at the hotel, one morning there was no coffee or juice.
