Hyatt Place Page Lake Powell

Beautiful views from our 2nd floor room!! The room was nice and big and clean, with no artificial sickening smells. Food was really good and I enjoyed the Starbucks offerings. Disappointed in the pool, it was dirty and cold, no hot tub available.

Room was clean and comfortable. Great back patio area. Nice, fresh, generous breakfast buffet and good coffee. A few out-of-order items (ice machine on a couple of floors). Didn't see much staff during check-in, but good responsiveness on a post-stay issue.

Patio has a nice view. Food is good. Clean and modern. Beds are comfortable and room shade is effective. Staff is friendly. Pool has a small footprint and is actually smaller than it looks in the web photo. No hot tub.

This place was terrible. We couldn’t check in 30 minutes early, and when we did, we had to upgrade our room to one with a view for $15. To our dismay, the room’s bed was covered in hair. The host didn’t seem to care when we shared our concerns.

The room was very clean and spacious. It was a bonus that breakfast was included, and there was a very nice variety of breakfast foods to choose from. We would definately stay here again!

The property was very clean and had an updated look. The room was spacious and great view. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the staff were very nice. Also close to the shopping centers and restaurants! Definitely recommend!

I picked this hotel based on previous reviews and the beautiful views i saw in photos. This hotel is new and everything is clean, very well decorated and i would stay here again next time. The beds were clean and comfortable, views absolutely amazing (choose the desert view of the hotel). Continental breakfast had good quality food amd the outside terrace was amazing. Service was friendly and professional.

I’ve stayed here previously and had a great experience so I was very surprised this stay. My room has an issue with the toilet. During the night, the toilet would make a very loud gurgling sound. The bedding had hair all over proving it had not been laundered. I called the receptionist to let them know and he seemed irked I even mentioned anything. He brought an extra blanket that smelled so badly of mold instead of offering to move rooms. The walls are also extremely thin so you can hear everything. Considering this hotel’s price gouging during holidays, this is really unacceptable. The morning breakfast was flavorless. The area outside is beautiful. However, the inside has really gone downhill.

Breakfast was great. But we got a bug in the bagel, which made the experience pretty bad. We couldn't continue eating there and had to leave.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to have the availability for three beds. The sofa bed is terribly uncomfortable. Unfortunately. Some hotels have done good and upgrading the mattress on the sofa bed. This is the only thing that I would say is wrong with this place. The breakfast was great. The coffee was good. The bar was a nice addition with the ability to have dinner there. They have a nice area to grab some snacks too and drinks. We did not utilize the patio until the next morning when it had snowed, but the kids had a great time playing around in the field area in the snow. Wonderful views of the valley. Overall. I would stay here again but dang get rid of those terrible sofa bed mattresses. You can do better!

Overall, your service was good. However, the mattress in the room I stayed in was too old, and the springs were sagging. I experienced severe back pain in the morning after sleeping on it. The reason was that the mattress was so worn out that the back area had sunken deeply. Please replace the mattress with a new one. The next morning was very difficult for me.

Overall a decent property, except for the air conditioning that forced us to spend a sleepless night due to very noisy AC fan. Also, it was not possible to change the fan speed and bring it to low to at least reduce the inconvenience. The only alternative would have been to switch it off with -3°C outside.

Our room was supposed to be a view room and we ended up in a handicap accessible room with a horrible shower and a view of another building.

Room was nice and clean. Toilet just too darn low - like a child’s toilet. I am 6’2” and it felt like going back to elementary school teachers conference. And after all day hiking, it’s tough to stand back up. Hotel is like the Ritz Carlton compared to the others in the area. Must see - Antelope Canyon. Best views you will ever see. Amazing! Horseshoe canyon at daybreak - spectacular. Beehive Loop - nice hike, but nothing that will amaze you. Very nice people in the area.

Charged double for this stay, according my receipt, my stay was prepaid and hotel charged me again

I was extremely disappointed to be charged an early check in fee at 2:30. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and have never been charged if the room was available early. This will likely make me not book at Hyatt Place in the future.

Friendly front desk.

We chose this hotel because it seemed to be the nicest option in the area. I was so disappointed at the hotel staff. All of them were rude, unfriendly, no apologies for mistakes and no acknowledgment when asking a question. I told one of the staff the hot water for tea was out, and he just gave me a look and walked right past me. I was so confused. Another lady gave me attitude and told me to wait in a harsh tone when we mentioned the coffee was out at a later time. The front desk lady had no idea why our credit cards were charged with two different amounts. It was just a mess. They clearly hate their jobs and shouldn’t be in the service industry!!

Hyatt is a decent option for accommodation in a small town like Page, given the limited choices available. However, our experience with the front desk was disappointing. My parents checked in after 1 PM, but were still charged the full early check-in fee of $60 instead of the expected $30. Despite showing proof of the actual check-in time, the receptionist was unwilling to make any adjustments. This is not the level of service I would expect from a hotel under the Hyatt brand. Additionally, the receptionist's demeanor was unusually unaccommodating. To add to our dissatisfaction, the pool area was dirty and poorly lit when the kids wanted to use it in the evening.

We’ve always enjoyed staying at Hyatt properties. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short. I reached out to the hotel manager, Hadassa Marquez-Crandall, to request a refund for a night we didn’t use. Despite following up, I never received a response. It’s disappointing to be met with silence when trying to resolve an issue. We expected better communication and care.

Overall this was a good stay. Front desk was very helpful. My only bone to pick was the poor service when my partner and I went to get a drink at the bar. Granted it was a little packed since there was a live performance, but there were at least 4 people behind the bar with 3 of them being bartenders. We waited about 8-10 minutes until we had to ask who the bartender was so we can order some drinks. The girl responds with there’s 3 bartenders here. No one asked us what we wanted or anything. We had to be the ones to ask for drinks even though we were the only couple sitting at the bar.

Arrived early and was able to check in early. Nice friendly staff.

The breakfast and other dining options at the hotel were excellent. However, when we arrived at the breakfast area when it was supposed to open, it was not ready for service until about 15 minutes later. Several of the other guests also complained about the late opening. In addition, throughout our stay, the staff was not welcoming or courteous in all our interactions with them, and they appeared bored and non-chalant when addressing guests. We had just stayed at the Hyatt Place in Moab prior to our visit at your property in Page, and the staff there was welcoming, courteous and very professional in ensuring all the guests had a wonderful stay. Thus, I was very disappointed by the lack of hospitality at the Page Hyatt Place. In addition, our room key became inoperable when we returned from an excursion to Antelope Canyon, and when I went to the desk to resolve the matter, it took about 30 minutes to do so, and when I asked why I was locked out of my room, the woman at the front desk said she couldn't provide a reason, and she gave me a new key with no apologies. I do want to recognize the young woman who checked us out, however. She was very professional, courteous, and seemed to enjoy her job. Although I cannot remember her first name in totality, I can tell you it was a beautiful Japanese name starting with the letter K. Hopefully, that will help identify this pleasant young woman.

This is a reasonabley new hotel with a far view to Lake Powell bridge. It is managed well, perstandard but did not feel anything above and beyond. For a very small ciry, it is a bit tucked away from the main shopping and restaurants.

We absolutely adored our stay at the Hyatt Lake Powell. It had just the right balance of elegance and comfort with a relaxed and low-key vibe. We were able to unwind and chill out as if we were lounging in our own home but with stellar service standing by and amazing scenery. The Hyatt is situated on a lot that overlooks Glen Canyon, near the dam. There is a large deck right outside of the lounge area, which makes for a perfect hangout when it’s not too hot. It’s the perfect place to catch the sunset over the bright red rocks. The staff are amazing. The front desk clerks are all amazing, friendly, and helpful. But, the true standout was Ray, who was always standing by at the bar ready to whip up a delicious cocktail or bring you some grub from the kitchen. But, that’s not all. Ray also sings. We were there on a Saturday evening, which just happens to be karaoke night. And, Ray stopped serving periodically to entertain us all with a song. The room was super comfortable and had a canyon view. The other side (front of the hotel) must have had a much more boring view, so if you stay here, make sure to request a canyon view. It was spacious, clean, and it had a really nice bathroom and shower. And, it was dog-friendly. Just a $75 one-time fee, which I found to be reasonable. And, there is a pool and really nice fitness center. The only con was that just outside the hotel was some kind of industrial area, which killed the vibe a bit. Nice clean hotel with attentive staff. Pool area is quiet and secluded, adjacent patio for lunch. Breakfast offerings were replenished throughout the morning with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, pancakes, baked goods and hot coffee. Excellent choices

Very comfortable hotel & breakfast was exceptional.

They had a Starbucks menu for coffee in lobby and the restaurant food was great.

This hotel includes breakfast in its room prices. This is one of the best breakfast menus (options and taste) I've had. Other mentions: * Water for guests near registration counter * Live music at night near the bar/restaurant

This hotel is a living example of ‘in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is King’. It is unbelievably average, not worth the money - but attracts ludicrously over-egged,undeserved reviews with little justification. Rooms are formulaic and bland and the breakfast was poor. Revolting, watery oatmeal, dried up scrambled egg, nothing replenished, empty plates not removed. No one provided more spoons, no one was around to ask for more either. There was no wholewheat bread, it had all gone by 8am. No black tea. Nothing restocked.

Best breakfast included. Didn’t nickle and dime guests. Best of all the hotels we stayed at.

Clean and service was nice but here are the negatives: There were just too many people getting breakfast at opening. They state no lines yet there was and it there was just so many people at once crammed in the breakfast room in the morning first thing. And no seating. If we wanted to wait for “no lines” and less people im order to get a seat we had to wait until later after 7:30 at least which didn’t work for our early morning and get ahead of the heat schedule… our visit was in July. Plus there was No Ice! The machines had signs on them and we had to go to the front counter which only allowed us to get one bucket as they were limiting ice to guests/families. And, the fold out bed in the room was not comfortable. Our boys were in pain in the mornings because of it.
