Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Raleigh Capital Blvd I-540

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it, but the guest laundry payment may take a few minutes to access and navigate.

The hotel itself was lovely. New and clean, comfy bed and pillows. Nice toiletries, complementary water and coffee in room. However, I would not have chosen to stay if I knew the parking lot was extremely dark and bordered by an active construction site. If I had been alone I would have been very creeped out. As it was, we had valuables that had to remain in the car and we were worried. Instead of lights they had many “ Park at your own risk” signs. Also there was barely any illuminated signage identifying the hotel. We drove into the area, following Apple directions, saying, “that looks like a hotel portico, but there’s no sign? Is this the right place?” I hope they fix that situation fast because otherwise it’s a nice hotel. We did not have breakfast, but I think it may be available for a fee. Check that before you book.

Overall we felt the hotel was clean and safe. The fitness room was well equipped. The room was clean. However, the breakfast options left much to be desired. They ran out of food quickly and didn’t have much to choose from. We also requested a room refresh on our 3rd day but dis not get that. The front desk apologized. The front desk was also friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our deadbolt not locking and the front desk clerk came to look at it and promised that maintenance would fix it when they came in the next morning… they fixed it. Overall it was a decent stay. We did not get to use the pool due to constant rain… but the water looked clear.

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The reason why we weren’t so happy was because when we showed up the pool was closed. I don’t remember seeing anything on the website letting us know that and my son was very disappointed. Other than that, the room was nice, my husband loved the pillows, the shower was amazing and free breakfast was good. We would stay here again, we’d just make sure the pool was open next time before booking.

The room was clean. The staff were all friendly. Breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from. Everything was within a short drive from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that the pool was closed the entire time we stayed there. They were filling it the day we got there, so not sure if it was just opening for the season or not.

Hotel was nice and clean. Couldn’t use pool, they were having a birthday party at the time. Staff was friendly enough, but felt very forced. It was not easy to find parking spaces.

The beds were very comfortable. Our rooms were clean. The outdoor pool was small but the water was warm and clean.

Went to use the bathroom sound hair all over looked like pubic hair. Disgusting. On top of that sheets had brown stain on it. Hair all over so unsanitary. It was too late to go anywhere. The front desk person came up to try and clean it but honestly needs a deep cleaning. Talk about poor customer service and shame on Marriot. Not up to par with cleaning and infection control. Don’t stay here

We asked for housekeeping and were told we had to ask 24 hours in advance to have room cleaned. We then asked for towels and toilet paper to be sent to the room. We left for the day and came back in the evening and they had not brought the towels or toilet paper. We called to ask for them and were told to come get them at the front desk. This is unacceptable- I’ve never stayed at a hotel that required 24 hour advance notice for cleaning and then have to go down and get our own toilet paper. At least leave an extra roll in the bathroom if you’re not going to clean each day. We were going to book a Fairfield in Wilmington, but not now, if that’s your policy. Just ridiculous!

My overall stay was good. The three caveats I’ll Add tho. The filter for the air condition unit in my room needs to be change. The room had a stale smell to it. The mattress & pillows need's to be upgraded. When got into the bed, the mattress sunken. The pillows didn’t have good support. I was relegated, to having to use 2 to 3 pillows for comfort & support.

Tile in the shower has been broken. i have found bunch of hair all over the room including the bath towels.

I was at the hotel property for one week (from Saturday to Saturday). In that time period, I only received one cleaning service. After the fourth day, I had to track down cleaning service to get clean towels. I expected better service.

There was no chair or sofa in the room with the exception of the desk chair. there were no luggage caddies to put and open our suitcases. To our opinion--recognizing its personal preference--we thought the mattress was to firm

The facility was clean and staff were friendly. The room AC unit was a little loud, but it drowned out any noise and I slept great.

The front desk was super sweet workers. The guy who works front desk at night was a bright of sunshine. The breakfast food was unpleasing. The Turkey sausage everyday was nasty. They need more selection like muffins or even a waffle maker. It was not good. The room was great the bed was comfortable and the location was great.

The room was spacious and bathroom was very clean! Most hotels these days don’t have a microwave but they do! Staff was really friendly and the free snacks during check in were nice. We stayed because we were in town for a wedding

It had been a long day & an even longer drive through stormy weather. By the time I arrived, I had a migraine, was exhausted, and hungry. A coworker recommended this location — I specifically needed a walk-in shower — and mentioned she believed they had room service. When I asked the front desk agent about room service, she kindly explained that they didn’t offer it, but there was a small pantry with items available for purchase. Unfortunately, due to dietary restrictions, that wasn’t an option I could use. She could tell I really needed a good meal, and without hesitation, she offered to walk next door and bring something back for me. She was so compassionate and sincerely assured me it wouldn’t be a bother — that she’d be happy to bring it right to my room. I was incredibly touched by the offer. I thanked her and said that if she could just point me in the right direction, the fresh air might do me some good. I dropped my things in the room and headed out. That short walk, the cool night air, and some good food turned my entire evening around. I felt so much better. I thanked her again & turned in for the night. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the walk-in shower was a blessing. After a long, hot shower, I slept like a teething toddler knocked out on Motrin. I even took another shower in the morning to start my day feeling refreshed & awake. I topped it all off with a nice cup of coffee on my way to check out. I highly recommend this location!

When arriving at 2:50pm, i was unable to check in for 2hrs because of a internet outage. Also one day the water was shut off for a couple of hours. We werent compensated or nothing. I was aggravated with the stay.

When I tell you ALL the front desk workers are AMAZING. They were great!!! They took such great care of us the WHOLE time!!! The rooms were very clean and so was the hotel. The breakfast was great!!! Its near some nice eating places. I walked to get my meals most of the times. I am overall just very pleased with my stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Fairfield in. We were in Raleigh for a funeral. The location is conveniently located in Northeast Raleigh, right off Capital Blvd and 540. There are many restaurants close by. It was clean and comfortable and exceeded our expectations. T (Tenarian) was so helpful at the front desk. She met each of our requests with a smile and really went above and beyond to help us.

Great location - especially if you are learning the area.

When I booked it I thought I was going to be closer to places I intended on visiting-not the fault of the property.

My room was very nice, but I really don't think the refrigerator was cold enough. The hotel breakfast was fantastic the first day, but the choices the next day we're not as good and the empty items weren't replenished as quickly. Breakfast was until 10:00 a.m. but by 9:15 a lot of items out and unavailable. Overall, though, our stay was very nice, our room was cleaning comfy, and staff was very pleasant and helpful when needed.

Had a really nice and comfortable stay for Dreamville Festival this weekend in Raleigh! The hotel was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the overall vibe was great. I do wish there were more breakfast options, but I appreciated them putting out waters for us festival goers—that was a thoughtful touch. Thank you for the hospitality!

The front desk staff was very friendly, We were glad that the main dish breakfast selections varied daily. We loved that coffee, hot chocolate and tea were available in the lobby 24/7.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The plates were stacked in a filthy holder. The eggs were terrible, no taste at all. There was no cream in the container and no coffee in the carafe. I had to ask for it. The person working seemed to be at her own pace and didn't foresee the need to keep things filled.

Staff for Thursday & Saturday was very good. Sunday was ok not as friendly & the breakfast for Sunday was not as fresh and the help was not very friendly. She started taking up food at 9:25 AM and another guest & I was also waiting , when asked if she would be bringing fresh eggs & etc she said they run out. But then she took everything but cereal up from breakfast.
