Reasonable property with a very friendly and supportive host. Photos gave the impression that it was self-contained serviced accommodation, though the description does point out that kitchen and dining room facilities are shared with the whole block. The room itself was a little basic, direct comparable to Travelodge. The bed was the biggest failing, saggy towards the middle. Decent as a budget accommodation, and ideal for contractors/tradies working in the area and wanting cooking facilities as well as a room. Not quite a home from home, but definitely a step up from a room-only hotel.

Easy to find but very little onsite parking. Reception staff were polite. Room basic but reasonably clean. Could do with a lick of paint and a bit of maintenance (shower dripped all night), towel rail loose on wall. But bed was comfy and good local info in the folder. There is very little sound insulation! Got woken up at 6am on Sunday morning by two men having a very loud conversation which went on and on! Woken up a couple of times in the night by other guests too. Overall, you get what you pay for; it was a decent enough bed for the night but glad it was only one night.

Communal kitchen and dining/sitting room with a co-op round the corner, or restaurants/cafes a few hundred metres away. Very clean and low cost rooms.

You will be parking in a nearby street, where it was easy to find a space. Kitchen/dining area looked clean and well equipped, probably little used. There's a co-op store and burger place under the hotel for obtaining food.

Very convenient for the City. It’s basic but clean and a good price. There are many steps and no lift so not for those with mobility issues. Parking limited to two spots from what I could see although they say there is street parking. The fire alarm went off at 00.45am but I was the only person who seemed to notice. Someone was working on the alarm so it might have been a test with no warning.

There is a Co-Op built into the building, so perfect for buying fresh food etc. The thing that means, I cannot give a great review, is I was allocated bedroom 9, which has the fan for the pizza ovens, for the restaurant below, the fan is incredibly loud & is not turned off overnight. I am lucky & can sleep thru anything, but I am pretty sure, most people could not! For me the property was great, close enough to walk into the city, but there are plenty of buses, if you are less able.

Three on site parking spaces for a 16+ room hotel is a bit worse than ‘limited parking’. Rooms are extremely basic; comfortable mattress was balanced by the bathroom door that was falling off its hinges. Overall, disappointing for the cost.

No One on the front desk so was left waiting out in the freezing cold for 20mins. There are only Two parking spaces and the service was poor. Never stay here again.

The guy behind the desk was quiet but helpful. The only drawback was that what looks like a parking area around the hotel is actually for shoppers at an adjacent Co-op and we had to park on a nearby street.

The room was basic but very clean. Good storage facilities, better than many expensive hotels. Reception not always manned but staff helpful when around. Could do with proper curtains rather than roller blinds but otherwise very good. Useful to have kitchen area and common room although latter not very comfortable. Wifi good. I booked 4 rooms for staff memebers. They reported the rooms were dirty and smelly. One staff member said he was itchy after sleeping on the bedding too. It is advertised as having parking however this also was not the case.

Lovely clean room. Hotel quiet and staff were super frienndly. Kitchen and seating area is an excellent idea. Co-op next door was handy. Will stay here again and will look out for others.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this place and would not recommend it to anyone. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and safety were not priorities. The room was filthy—there were stains on the chair and carpet, and the walls and ceiling were covered in dirt and grime. To make matters worse, the door didn’t even lock from the inside, which made me feel extremely unsafe. The tea and coffee tray was disgusting, with dirty water still in the kettle, which was just another sign of the hotel’s lack of proper cleaning standards. I also felt extremely uncomfortable with the other guests. I was followed into the kitchen, which left me feeling anxious and on edge. After a long 13-hour workday, I was already exhausted and stressed, and this only added to my anxiety. After just an hour and a half, I couldn’t take it anymore and checked out. I found a much better hotel just 20 minutes away and stayed there for the night. This experience caused me unnecessary stress and frustration, and I would never consider staying here again nor would I recommend it.

This room is incredibly basic to say the least... there was no soap in the dispenser, the walls were peeling in the bathroom and there were only two cups, one saucer and one spoon - no coffees or teas as shown in the photos. The fan in the bathroom stopped and started every 5 seconds. Very disappointing. I did not stay and found another hotel in close proximity. The Manager called me to offer a refund if I was going to leave. I left and still have not received anything. I do not how this hotel has received the high rating that it has. It should be a lot less.

However, the kettle was extremely grimey inside to the point where I didn't use it and I'm not that fussy. Looked like some food residue left in there where a previous tenant has boiled something other than water and the it's just been giving a rinse. Shower gel dispenser was empty which was annoying and the place could probably do with a deep clean every so often. The room was also pretty baron and depressing in terms of decor, escaped for the evening to a localish pub down the road and couldn't wait to get out in the morning. If I stay in Leicester again I'll choose somewhere else for similar value but I would stay again if this was my only option given it's low price. I just wouldn't really look forward to it. Staff at check-in were helpful though and there for what I needed. Also able to get a parking spot without having to pay a charge which is also a plus point.

Bathroom radiator was dirty, floor not clean, very noisy room as all noise from outside came through. Website indicated kitchen but did not say shared. Kitchen fridge was disgusting, deep freeze had open frozen meat and loose vegetables - perfect for bacteria.

We checked iin and the room we were allocated had previous occupants toenail on the floor, which was also sticky so obviously hadn't been cleaned, and hairs in the bed. We requested to be moved. Shown 3 rooms, none acceptable, one smelt of a smoker. Room we finally stayed in. TV didn't work. Shower was boiling and couldn't be used so were given another to shower in. Disasterous experience but both receptionists were very good and helpful as possible

Absolutely awful. Upon checking in I realised my room (room 9) was directly above the kitchen of the burger place next door, the ventilation system for which is right underneath the floor, with the venting right next to the room window! The entire room absolutely stank of stale burger grease and the air was thick with oil. Both the wooden floor and the pages of guidebook on the bed were stuck together with grease. The ventilation vibrated the entire room, and was incredibly loud. There was constant banging and crashing from the kitchen below. The whole first floor wing of the building was incredibly warm, presumably from the kitchen below as it wasn't a warm day. My only hope was that after the burger place closed at 2am they would turn off the ventilation... 3am came and it was still going. After 3 hours of trying to sleep in that hell hole I decided to end my stay in Leicester early. I threw my key card in the box at reception and made the 2 hour drive home, leaving my friend who I'd booked a different room for. Completely ruined my weekend plans. How anyone can think this is an acceptable place to have a anyone (let alone a paying guest) sleep is absolutely beyond me. I'd go so far as to say environmental health should investigate, because I'm not convinced it is even safe. I'd like to request a full refund for my stay, as well as my friends room which I paid for.

worse nights sleep ever. window view was a massive aircon duc pipe and very load all night long

The room was hygienically clean but there were scuff marks on the walls. The room had no windows, just a very small skylight. Neither of these was a problem to me as I just needed somewhere to spend the night. Premier Inn, which can be cheaper, wouldn't get away with it. The bathroom was impressively smart.

My stay started off ok until 10.30pm when i was rudley woken up by loud banging on my bedroom door.I answered and was confronted by a aggressive hotel employee telling me i had to get down to reception and pay for my stay.I webt diwn downstairs to pay and was spoken to like i am a criminal.I asked why he came and woke me at 10.30pm when he could have knocked earlier as i had not left the hotel all night he said the receptionist told him i had gone out(a blatant lie) suffice to say i was not a happy bunny.The room was leanish apart from a short black hair in one off the coffee cups.The shower was dirty with dirt on the shower head.I know one thing i will never stay here again.They only have 4 parking spots here as well.

Kosta is a great guy! We booked this place at the very last minute because we couldn’t stay at the airbnb due to filthiness. He spoke to the owner to ensure we got a big room for my family.

I asked for fire door etc and he told me . The room was clean , there was a kettle but no tea cups saucers ! No bins in the room or toilet. There was only one plug right under the table which was difficult to get to. Soap dispenser in shower was not working. If you can sort these little things , it will qualify for excellent. Thanks

Great location. Literally with a mini coop supermarket and a burger restaurant next door. Property was really nice and room was very big especially for the price . Bed was comfortable. Location is great as it is central but in a nice and quiet area. Overall would definitely recommend and would stay here again if need be.

Everything close to all i needed

It’s a good hotel in the centre of the city . Very clean. I had the room on 2 nd floor and strived bit late from meeting. There was a gentleman outside the door smoking who got me-in and checked in. I asked for fire door etc and he told me . The room was clean , there was a kettle but no tea cups saucers ! No bins in the room or toilet. I enjoyed my stay there so peaceful got a burger bar and co op next to it people are friendly lovely atmosphere recommend to go try out
