PACIFIC 19 Kona

A bit in need of updating, but very clean, friendly staff and comfortable.

I wasn’t there long enough to have an opinion.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and they were kind enough to upgrade my room to an ocienview that had a nice balcony. Would definitely stay again if I return to the Big Island.

Location was great. Walkable to town which is right there. Partial view room was great. Had our own “back deck.” Water and ice machine were nice. Coffee bar in the am was very basic. Just coffee. Pay for parking $25/night and make sure you park in the lines. We received a less than polite call informing us we were parked over the lines (I explained it was bc the person we were next to was over the line) and was told they would just charge us for two spaces then. Staff was less than friendly. I received one friendlier good morning during our two day stay. Pool looked nice. Entry way ambiance was nice but it didn’t match the rest of the hotel.

I had a short but great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool area was lovely, and it was in a great area. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and I was able to store my bags in the morning after check out and return that night to get them with no issue. Would definitely stay again!
