H Hotel Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton

Great room and helpful, friendly staff.

There was loud construction hammering until 1:00 a.m. When we went up to our rooms upon check-in, the room keys did not work.

Stayed at the H Hotel Los Angeles Curio Collection by Hilton and had a mixed experience overall. The highlight of the stay was definitely the rooftop. The view from the 12th floor was absolutely breathtaking, especially if you enjoy plane spotting. Watching the planes come in and out was incredible and easily the best part of the hotel. However, the room itself was uncomfortable due to the AC not working properly. The temperature stayed around 78 degrees and wouldn’t cool down, even with the thermostat set all the way to 65. It made it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. We were also looking forward to enjoying the rooftop fire pits in the evening, but unfortunately they weren’t working. There were quite a few guests wandering around confused and disappointed, which took away from what could have been a really nice nighttime experience. Overall, the hotel has great potential because of the views and location, but the issues with the AC and amenities made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

I had a great stay at H Hotel Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton. The location near Los Angeles International Airport is super convenient, the rooms are clean and modern, and the staff is very friendly. The patio deck is awesome for plane spotting and relaxing. Highly recommend!
