The hotel was very clean and quite spacious. The location is good as it's walking distances to most tourist, shopping and places to eat. The only thing I would say is if the hotel is busy the elevators can take very long.

This place is good. What really makes this hotel great is the location. Everything is close by and easy to get to. The room is small and simple, but very clean and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. It’s true that the amenities are limited, but it’s perfect if you just need a place to rest after exploring the city all day. They always had extra towels available, and the place was kept very tidy. Stayed in a triple room (2 adults and 1 child) in Jan 2024 and it was a reasonable size for Japan accommodation. With 3 large suitcases it was a bit of a tight squeeze but doable with minimal movement around the room. Clean and tidy and liked how they provided a night shirt for sleeping in. Used the laundry twice and the dryers don't dry clothes properly, after 1 hour in the dryer the clothes are still quite damp and require line drying for the day to get them dry. Staff are friendly but they don't help make/change restaurant reservations which can be difficult for a traveller where lots of restaurants don't have online reservations. About a 10 minute walk to the busy area of Dotonbori with Family Mart and 7-eleven next door.

도톤보리까지 도보 5-7분 이내라 이동하는데는 편리하고 좋았습니다. 아기랑 방문 예정이었던지라 다른 호텔에 비해 친환경적이고 깨끗하다고 해서 방문했습니다. 화장실은 깨끗한 편이었고 침대 시트랑 베개 시트가 남이 사용했던 것처럼 냄새도 나고, 얼룩이 져 있었다고 해야할까요? 이물질도 보였고요. 호텔 예약 시, 상세설명에는 시트도 삶는다고 적혀있었는데 제가 가격대비 너무 큰 기대를 했던 거 같아요. 애기를 데리고 방문한 저에게는 침대, 베개시트가 제일 중요했는데 그 외 교통소음 말고는 전체적으로 나쁘진 않았습니다. 시트만 깨끗하게 관리해주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

The hotel is nice and their staff was great, but the bathroom smelled like urine. We had to ask them to clean it. It was still not as clean as I was expecting. The toilet has some areas where dirt and nastiness stays. It doesn’t seem like it is being cleaned properly.

Hotel located next to the major shopping district of Osaka. The hotel was honestly as expected of a hotel in japan. Rooms arent too big. The biggest negative was our room had a very strong lingering cigarette smell, the window didnt close tightly so sometimes gets loud at night and we got unlucky towards the last 2 days with annoying loud tourist next door.

There is a gum still on the night gown, so disgusting. Bed sheet and pillow still have someone else hair. Poo stain on toilet seat. The room is full of smoke smell… so bad the room and I don’t find any service in this hotel.

Our stay at Smile Hotel Premium was not our favourite. Pros - location Cons - loud rooms, you could hear everything going on outside - bathroom very basic and small, it seemed quite dated - staff weren't the friendliest. there were often times they would speak Japanese to each other and giggle and look at us which is unacceptable

The room and staff were excellent. Fairly spacious for a Japanese hotel. About a 5 minute walk from Dotonborie, which was nice. Area outside of hotel was a bit dirty, and reminded more of a large American city.

Really well located within Osaka. Unfortunately the reception staff did not live up to the word "smile". Compared to the other hotels in Japan, they were surly - at best. Usual Japanese style micro rooms - also a very strange allocation of rooms as we booked two and the adult and child were given the bigger room rather than the two adults.

They give you water if you don’t get the room cleaned,make sure you ask at the front. They didn’t call a taxi when we needed but it took a few minutes to flag one down. 3100 Japanese yen to get to Shin-Osaka

Upon check in i was asked to pay an additional 1000 yen per day for the duration of our stay for our daughter because they consider everyone as adults, no more child booking. Even Expedia allowed to book it with a child. The hotel cannot hel you book for a shuttle or taxi.servce if you need to go to the airport or anywhere. Because they said they don't do it. Staff speak so little English. Cannot help much if you are a first time traveller. Still quite far from the train stations. Won't recommend for a family with kids.

一泊でしたが、とても快適に利用させて頂きました。荷物の預かりは勿論のこと、15時だと思っていたがチェックインが14時にできたこと、あとチェックアウトが11時だったこと、本当に有り難かったです。ありがとうございました。１つだけあげさせて頂くと、ロビーのお手洗いが１つだけだったので、2つあるとスゴくいいかなぁ〜と感じました。

We chose this hotel because of its convenience to Dotonburi, so nice to walk a few blocks and be in the midst of bustling activities. We only got breakfast 1 of the mornings, and suggest booking it in advance. It's a bit of hassle to find a place to get breakfast. Very close to the metro station, lots of restaurants around. Highly recommend!
