Cleaning was good I just wish there was more parking. We got a hotel there and just sucks how we paid for the hotel and that there’s not parking for us. Try to expand more on the parking lot, other than that it waa a good stay at the hotel.

The staff was courteous and helpful, the room clean and spacious for a hotel room here. The view from the balcony was amazing, looking out over the park, beach, great for people watching and sunsets. It's a classic beach-side hotel, simple but comfortable and close to everything in American Village (dozens of restaurants, shops, beach, and more). I really appreciated that it had free parking, even if it is limited (first come, first served).

The property and the staff were as advertised and tried to make you stay the best they could. The parking was limited, but there was a huge free parking lot within two blocks. I would definitely stay here again.

Ho soggiornato per 3 giorni , la posizione è ottima , qualunque stanza si affaccia sulla spiaggia raggiungibile in 30 secondi a piedi . Siamo in pieno American village a Chatan quindi abbiamo tutti i servizi possibili . La stanza è mediamente grande con tutto quello che serve , forse servirebbe un leggera rinfrescata , la stanza non è vecchia , ma tipo la carta da parati in alcune zone strappata o il tasto della luce nella testata del letto mancante , piccolezze eh , ma per il prezzo che si paga avrei voluto tutto al posto giusto . Parchehgio gratuito di fronte l’hotel , pochi posti ( una ventina ) , ma in caso a pochi metri ci sono parcheggi gratuiti. Ma l’hotel rimane un ottima scelta per soggiornare a Okinawa e rilassarsi .

外国人のスタッフだったが親切丁寧で対応も良かった。エアコンは部屋で調整出来るのが良かった。防音性も優れていたので快適に過ごせた。風呂も大きく清潔だった。ホテルの駐車場は台数が少ないが、近くの公園の駐車場が使えるので不便はなかった。

Really nice room for the price and location, I expected much less! The hotel is the perfect location if you want to stay near American Village. It’s on Sunset Beach with view of the beach and sunsets! The room is nice, modern, and looks recently renovated. I must say this was the nicest of 4 rooms I’ve stayed through Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa, and it was the cheapest! This will be the place I always stay when I come to Okinawa. The only negative I can say is the parking is small, it’s always full and I had to park in a handicap spot one night (told to by staff), and they only overflow parking is not there’s and has hours it’s closed.

This is a great little hotel practically on the beach; I had a 2nd floor end room (the hotel only has 3 floors) and I had a great view. It's next to American Village with it's unique style of tourist draws, with lots of restaurant, cafe, and bar options. Parking is free and available which I find difficult in Okinawa, so that was a major plus. There's also a laundry machine/dryer on each floor and it cost only 300 yen a load. The bathroom is a dream, amazing shower and super deep bath wet room, and very modern Japanese toilet The breakfast option is outstanding, it's a traditional Okinawan restaurant and the quality was top notch and very tasty. Highly recommend if you're looking to stay in Chatan.

The property is lovely for a modest stay on the beach. The room was clean with obvious updates. However, there was some mold on the walls that should be addressed. I can imagine with the humidity it is a constant battle. The hotel is right on the beach with most rooms (if not all) facing the ocean. It is a 5 minute walk to American Village where you have many, many shopping and dining options. Additionally, the staff was courteous and very accommodating when we arrived extremely late due to a delayed flight. Overall I'd recommend the hotel.

Excellent view and location! Coffee, water and tea in the room. The staff were super friendly. The shower was mentioned in several reviews and it was amazing! I’ve now moved to the Hilton (based on availability) and I preferred Sunset Beach Hotel. Highly recommend.

The Sunset Beach Hotel is an outstanding place to stay! The staff was incredibly courteous and professional, and the room was absolutely on par with big-name brands like Hilton or Marriott properties I’ve stayed at. Specifically, I was impressed with how spotlessly clean the room was, and I was very satisfied with the shower (tons of pressure and heat). Throw in the balcony with the view of the beach less than a 5min walk away and I’ll be happy to stay here again. I recommend trying the breakfast. Though you have to reserve a spot the evening prior it was well-worth it.

Rooms are updated and very nice. Paint on the rust in outside hallways and doors would be an inexpensive fix and would greatly improve the looks of the hotel. We really enjoyed hotel, but hallways have an outdated, unkept feel

Das Zimmer war sauber, sehr groß und hatte einen Balkon mit direkten ungehinderten Blick auf den Sunset Beach. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten das wirklich große Frühstück und waren überwältigt. Jeden Tag variierten die Gerichte und wurden frisch zubereitet. Liebevoll angerichtet und äußerst schmackhaft. Mein Mann isst keinen Fisch, da hat der Koch ihm jeden Tag einen extra Teller fertig gemacht mit Leckereien. Deswegen einen ganz besonderen Dank an den Koch und die liebe ältere Bedienung. Sie haben uns den Aufenthalt jeden Morgen versüßt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great location in the middle of American village and on the beach. Loved sitting at the balcony. Would be good if chairs were provided there. Spacious room. Loved the breakfast and the aunties serving there we super nice and helpful.
