Vi boede i et stort familie værelse. Hvilket gjorde vi havde meget plads. Minus var p-kælderen er meget lav, så vi havde tagboks på og det var et problem. Men de havde parkering udenfor hotellet så der var mulighed for parkering.

Lots of breakfast choices! They have a parking garage for parking and laundry facilities for cleaning your clothes at 5 Euro a load. There is also food served in the evening. P The room was clean and nice, they even left us apples and still water as a welcoming gift. Would stay here again!

This is a great place to stay. It’s a simple place and not a luxury hotel by any means; however, it’s clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is small and they provide you with an option of two breakfast times (0700-0830 and 0830-1000). The underground parking is a bit tight; however we didn’t have any issues and we had a relatively large rental car by European standards. Unlike most hotels in Europe, the AC is central and works quite well. In order to conserve energy all the lights in public places are on a sensor. For example, the lights in the garage and hallways will turn off after a few minutes if they don’t detect any movement. It’s pretty well located from places like Mozart Platz and Mirabelle Palace (a 10-15 minute drive from each location). If my family and I ever make it back to Salzburg we’ll definitely try to stay here again. It was overall a pleasant stay.

I did not like that the check-in was all via a screen outside the main door in the cold weather with no human involved. This was especially cumbersome bc we had to go thru their process with 2 rooms. On a positive note, I would recommend buying the Salzburg card from the front desk— well worth the p euros. Ask about their restaurant. I didn’t even know they had one until our last day—another reason that a reception desk is needed rather than a screen check in. By exploring, we found laundry in the basement. However, there is no warning that if you don’t get your clothes out of the washer in time upon completion, the washer locks and you have to start over! Beds were comfortable. Appreciated that the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower. Bus stop was right in front of the hotel. But it is not always the same bus coming back so be careful you get on the right one. Very safe neighborhood to walk in. Parking was underground for 20 euros per night. Shower was hot with consistent pressure. Small fridge in room.

Decent hotel near bus lines to Altstadt, etc. like other hotels, they decide to turn off AC when they feel like it. If your room is too hot, too bad. Open the window they say even if the street is noisy. Otherwise now a bad place. They have a washer dryer in the basement. Breakfast was pretty good.

The room is sparkling clean, the bed/ pillows are so comfortable, and we had a good sleep. I also like the mountain view from our room. The staff at the reception and the servers at the restaurant are so helpful and kind. The breakfast is also very good, lots of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel

The staff were very kind to our many questions. The room was large (we had 3 adults) and very modern. The hotel was clean and there were many things that made our stay comfortable. They had some snack options at the bar so we were able to order some food when we arrived late. The rooms had air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The hotel is not in the main city center but the bus line is right in front of hotel. We had no issues with transportation! The bus line has a direct stop at the main train station.

Rooms were nice and big. However, they say they have Air conditioning but this is set at 21 degrees and can’t be lowered. We had booked 3 nights and it was hot and sweaty at night. Staff couldn’t help with this. Food was just ok, nothing great. Not much space to store the luggage if you arrive early. One of the staff there was not very helpful with this. Good location and easy access into town via bus.

We are a family of four and stayed at the Hotel Max 70 during the European summer heat wave of 2025 (34°C). Thank goodness for the quiet and comfortable air conditioning in the suite! The double queen bed suite we had was fairly spacious and comfortable. The décor was modern and looked brand new. The fridge was welcome as well as a separate toilet room from the shower room. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. English language was welcome. They had a good quality breakfast buffet you can have (best to book the night before to save a few Euro). The bus into Historic Salzburg was no more than 15 minutes long, with a stop just outside the hotel. We made many trips back and forth over 4 days it was so easy (the hotel will give you a bus pass for your phone, which the bus never checks anyway). We used Google Maps to get bus information. There is a coin operated washing machine and drywer in the hotel basement which we were glad to use (€8/load and they give you a soap pod). There are a couple of decent restaurants a couple of blocks away too.

Me and my girlfriend traveled together. We stayed the first and last night at The Hotel Max 70. Very clean and fresh hotel with good service , good breakfast, friendly and helpful Receptionist. Right outside the hotel , there is a bus stop thet easily takes you into town. And only 5 minutes walk to bus " number 2 " that take you to Salzburg Airport. Highly recommended 💞

Poor customer service. The first day my husband ask for a cup of coffee they charged him 4.50 Euro. The second day my husband bought his coffee from a bakery outside was going to have it in the garden. The lady at the front desk stopped him said since you didn’t buy the coffee here you can’t use the garden. I told her but we are staying here still she said I don’t care.

The staff was very helpful in finding bus transportation, and helping us know where to park our vehicle. When I accidentally paid for two parking spaces, the night staff and then the manager helped me. The beds were comfortable and the room was cool.. Breakfast was lovely and we loved all the options, especially the porridge, yogurt, fruit, croissants and jams. The breakfast staff was especially helpful when the porridge ran out. They were quick to prepare some more. There was plenty seating for breakfast. We enjoyed the balcony for our room in the evening. We appreciated the water and the apples in our room when we arrived. The refrigerator wasn't very cold and the toilet area smelled a little like old urine. Hotel staff was sent to clean it, but the smell remained. Overall, it was a really good stay though.

We called and asked to check in early at 11 AM for a €30 fee, and they were unable to find the early check-in, which resulted in me, walking around completely jetlagged for hours until 3 PM for check-in. They said they would call so let me know when the room is ready, but nobody called. Further, they just seems completely unhappy and unwilling to help in general. I just think there are a better options where you feel that the staff is working with you not against you.

We stayed for 3 wonderful nights in Salzburg. Hotel Max 70 is located a 30 minute walk from the old town or a 10 minute bus ride and the bus stops right outside the hotel. It is also good to know that the city tax includes free public transport. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Our room was modern and spacious and it was nice to have a balcony overlooking mountains and a sofa that we could relax on and enjoy a coffee. The underground car park is a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd recommend staying here.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel, Ticket für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel inklusive. Man ist in 10 Minuten mit dem Bus in der Innenstadt, die Haltestelle ist direkt vorm Hotel. Im Zimmer gibt es bequeme Betten, einen Kühlschrank, Wasser, Äpfel, einen Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee. Das Personal ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Super Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel (Dachbox) oder in der Tiefgarage.

Pretty good. It’s on a relatively busy road so keep that in mind. It’s about a 25-30 minute walk to downtown Salzburg so not really walkable if you want to go back and forth throughout the day. There is a bus stop outside so that was very convenient. The room was average. It had what I needed, other than an ironing board. Would probably find something a bit closer to downtown next time but would stay here again if I couldn’t find anything.

Fun hotel with awesome breakfast that is on a busline yhat gets you downtown in 15 minutes. Unique design to room; European style with comfy beds. But the breakfast spread and staff of hotel were amazing. Front desk personnel took great care of us and explained what we needed to know.

Alles super, sehr schönes Hotel, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres Frühstück. Einzige kleine Kritik: der Schlafsessel ist für kleine Kinder nicht so geeignet (zu beiden Seiten kann das Kind rausfallen und das Metallgestänge bietet die Möglichkeit, sich einzuklemmen) und für einen Erwachsenen auch eher nicht so bequem. Für 2 Nächte war es okay und das Hotel war in allen anderen Punkten hervorragend!

Ein super Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Salzburg. Die Preis-Leistung passt und die Zimmer sind sehr durchdacht und ordentlich. Das Frühstück bietet fast alles was man sich wünschen kann. Das einzige was fehlt ist der Bacon. Vegetarisch / Vegan gibt es auch einiges.
